HG5692 Postwar production on the Mauser HSC ran from 1967 until 1977 under Mr. Sam Cummings’s leadership at Interarms. This one’s serial number is 33,000 range, and we estimate it was manufactured in 1969 or 1970. It is in its original leatherette Interarms Box with original instruction manual and test target. Finish is bright Nickel, and grips are the original factory checkered walnut panels. This pistol’s chief detraction is a crack in its plastic finger rest on that magazine, and faint amounts of weakness to the gloss finish on the grip panels. Any other detractions are negligible. We rate this Nickel Mauser HSC as Excellent in box, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. As far as specs, type is double- and single-action semi-auto blowback action pistol; caliber .380 ACP / 9mm Kurz by European definition; 3 1/8 inch barrel; 7 + 1 round capacity with two blue steel factory magazines; all steel construction; weight empty 21 ounces; European style magazine release; nickel finish with blue steel hammer, magazine release, safety-decocker lever, and hammer.
