Here is part of a trove we received from a retired police armorer. This is a complete stainless cylinder assembly, complete with ejector assembly and yoke, to fit Ruger Stainless Double Action Revolvers chambered in .357 Magnum. Overall cylinder length mikes out at 1.616 inches; cylinder diameter 1.509. Both manuals, the GP-100 and the Security- and Service-Six revolvers give the same number for the cylinder, Ruger #KE-1. It will readily chamber a .357 Magnum Round. Other parts included are KE-23 rod, KE-47 Yoke Assembly, KE-34 Spring, KE-54 rod, KE-53 Pin, KE-18 Ejector Assembly. This assembly appears ready to drop in. Anyone attempting to use it, however, should first consult with a competent armorer or gunsmith. We are neither gunsmiths nor Competent. We classify this cylinder as excellent, since rotation marking and holster scouring are minimal; photos, however, should suffice for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves.
