This Ruger Security Six is one of the 150 series and thus is one of the earliest models made. it has the Southport plant address on the left side of the barrel and ".357 MAGNUM CAL." on the right side of the barrel. The walnut grip panels are in fine condition as is the blue finish. The trigger and hammer are carbon steel with polished sides. The trigger is seretted. Both the hammer and to a much lesser degree of the sides shoe some discoloratiom on the polished sides.
All in all this is one of a few early (pre-1976) Security sixes that show only some finish discoloration to the polished areas. The mechanics are 100% and the finish would have to be rated at a 96%. The chambers are smooth and the bore looks new. This is an early example specimin of a desireable revolver.
