Collector quality 2ND generation 1862 Pocket Police made in the 1970's to early 80's by Colt and faithful to the original revolver. Excellent condition, never fired, never turned in original black box with yellow hang tag and booklets in sealed pouches. Nice case colors and bright silver plating with only the slightest tarnishing on the silver trigger guard/backstrap that will rub off with a soft cloth. Rich brown walnut grips and like new bluing. A rare and sought after model Colt BP revolver.
The Pocket Police is a .36 cal, 5 shot, half fluted & rebated cyl, 5 ½” round barrel w/”creeping” load lever & round silver plated brass trigger guard and backstrap. Standard side arm of the NYC Police Dept. during the Civil War, also favored by Union officers for its compact design.
Selling off a few guns in my personal Colt BP collection at very reasonable prices for their condition and current values. No FFL required for Black Powder antique/replica revolvers. Check your local laws before purchasing. You must be 21 years of age and prove it by sending a copy of your driver's license or Military ID. Sorry, no sales to NYC or Washington D.C. Please ask all your questions before purchasing, thank you!
