Photos show a specimen of Smith & Wesson's Military & Police black gun series, the MP 40 Standard 609200 variant with two 15 round magazines, with magazine safety. Specs are as follows. Weight empty, no magazine, is 24.25 oz; weight fully loaded will be a bit over 31 ounces. Overall length is 7.63 inches; 5 1/2 inch height; and very nice thin 1.2 inch width. Barrel length is 4 1/4 inches with a 6 1/4 inch sight radius. This pistol, like all M&Ps, is full time double action, striker fire action, with a very consistent 6.5 pound trigger pull that only travels .300 inches from rest to fire and resets in only .14 inches. Frame is Zytel Polymer, and barrel and slide are Black Melonite finished stainless. The frame, as the photos show, incorporates a Picatinny Weaver type rail for light and laser mounting. Magazine capacity is 15 rounds of .40 Smith & Wesson, so loaded capacity of 15+1. The M&P series takes all comers for ease of handling, positive feel, and reliability and consistency under the most adverse field and combat situations. M&P series has a fully ambidextrous magazine release setup; it is as easy to switch sides on it as a Beretta 92. Like all its 609200 / 309200 mates, it is equipped not only with a firing pin safety but also with a magazine safety. It will not fire if the magazine is removed. This particular specimen is one of Smith & Wessons showgirls, a factory demo. It is in its original box with its instruction manual, Club 1852 card, and fired brass envelope dated from 2005. This one served as a full disassembly trainer for new armorers. Its only surface detractions are faint amounts of whitening here and there: to its action and trigger pin heads, to its slide release lever, and to the edges of its rear sight. We rate it as Excellent in Box, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is certainly excellent mechanically, and under factory warranty. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent; and we estimate it has been fired fewer than 50 times. This M&P 40 Service variant commands retail prices in our area of $600 or more. We're offering the pistol in the photos, however, for only $ 359.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California, District of Colombia, or Massachusetts. For civilian buyers in jurisdictions where the 15 round magazines are restricted, $ 30 off but no magazines. Affected jurisdictions include Chicago / Cook County IL [Maryland after 9/15/13] and New York.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
