Rugged percussion pistol with a cross bolt safety , No markings on the lock, top of barrel has an old style 1, Brass buttplate has: G, H, A, 39, and on the brass trigger guard a small letter C . Brass side plate: K.D. B. 87 a. Front band of iron held on with a stud that goes through the stock, No ramrod channel, or ramrod! Caliber looks like about .69.Very good hardwood. Action works very well. Gun is about 18" long, with a blade front sight, and a raised v notch rear sight opposite the hammer.Top of iron back strap engraved : No. 200. Has a cross bolt on the left side with a finger latch to push the bolt through to hold the hammer at half cock, or full cock. Could be French or German made !
