Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: 3 Days Description: General Specs: Winchester, Year 1950, .22 s/l/lr, 5lbs 8oz Serial Number: 266670 Here we have a very nice, untouched Winchester Model 62A, sn266670 made in 1950, that still retains 93% barrel blue and 90% receiver blue. The mechanics are excellent and the bore is shiny clean and with strong rifling. The wood is original with no cracks or gouges, just light handling marks and most of the original finish remaining. The original buttplate is intact as well. Most of these little Winchester slide-action guns have been refinished and restored, or not cared for and have pitted bores. This Winchester was very well cared for and at 69 year old, she is still tight and ready to plink at targets or get rid of varmints while having a little fun pumping and rapid firing this little piece of history. Winchester .22 rimfire rifles have always been a good investment vehicle all the while being fun to shoot. As more and more are “restored”, the original guns become even more valuable. This rifle is priced fairly and you will enjoy its use as it grows in value. These are great little guns to introduce young shooters to safety and marksmanship, and to begin to instill in them the fun and thrill of being outdoors and learning about responsible gun ownership.
