Description:
Here is a solid, attractive Ruger 77-R Bolt Action from the Senior Bush's Inaugural Year of 1989. As with most of its peer veterans of the West Tennessee Deer Woods, this rifle has been hunted more than it has been fired. We estimate that fewer than 100 rounds have been run through this rifle. Its walnut stock has extensive light to moderate scouring and scuffing, mostly on its left side. We estimate that 30 percent of the semi-gloss original finish is affected. Floorplate and trigger guard exhibit mostly edge scuffing and whitening, around 20 percent of their surfaces. Barrel has moderate whitening on its muzzle edges from case contact, with some faint streaking on the left side of the barrel. Receiver is very nice, and is a classic early Ruger purplish hue. Scope ring screws show moderate stress, and the Simmons 3 to 10 variable 44 Mag Scope is quite possibly the original scope, since the rings are D71H High that leave about 1/16 inch clearance between the bell and the barrel. The scope, however, has questionable mechanical life left, our photographer will try to show where the eyepiece has taken a contact lick and has about a 2 degree downward cant. We have always told customers that Ruger Steel Rings will never move, even if the scope they hold is beaten to pieces. We do not value the scope at anything, but we will keep it for the labor of taking it off if the buyer doesn't want it. It might give more years of service, however, even with its bent eyepiece condition. On the rifle itself, bore, chamber and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Much more than the scope, the prize accessory is the genuine leather sling that appears to be US Made, possibly a late period, well cured but oily and pliable Bucheimer. We will deduct $10 if the buyer doesn't want it. We're offering this solid 20-year-old Ruger 77-R .270, complete with its sling and scope at the buyers option for only $ 379.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
