Total round count is less than 200 rounds. The bluing on the barrel and receiver is in perfect condition. Not a scratch, or wear mark anywhere. The bore is in great condition rifling is crisp and clean with a 12” twist. The trigger crisply breaks at 3 lbs. The jeweled bolt is smooth, and locks up tight. The beautiful grained walnut stock, with schnauble for-end, Decelerator recoil pad, and crisp checkering, is aluminum pillared, and glass bedded at the recoil lug and receiver tang. There is not a scratch or dent anywhere. Included in the sale is the original open sights which are currently removed, with all barrel screw holes plugged with blind machine screws. Also included are a set of Leupold standard mounts with 30mm rings, a brand new Barska 4-16X50 IR scope with mil-dot reticle and 30mm tube with warranty card, lens cleaning cloth and lens covers. You would have to search far and wide to find a cleaner, more beautiful Model 70 that was built with the craftsmanship from the 1970 era, manufactured at the New Haven Connecticut factory.
