Here is a very attractive and fully traditional classic Remington 870 Police Shotgun that has served and protected our fellow citizens in the Chesapeake since the Nixon Years; if, that is, we are correct in dating its X T Barrel Code to December of 1970. Serial number is S833000V range. Production context, of course, was the frequently violent Antiwar protest movement that had escalated considerably in 1970 and was churning right along on into the next year. Receiver is neatly marked with the Prince George’s P.D. stamping. Metal surface wear is only moderate, and original bluing is pretty strong throughout. Sharp edges show whitening at places, there is superficial scouring on the receiver, and barrel has some surface discoloration toward the muzzle. The receiver has extensive etchy spotting with a bit less of the same thing on the exposed area of the magazine tube and forward areas of the barrel. Original traditional smooth buttstock and serrated Police forend have been professionally refinished to a semi-gloss very similar to the original issue. Barrel is original factory 18 inch Police Cylinder, 2 3/4 inch chamber. This shotgun, in our estimate, is Very Good finishwise, since about 25 percent of its metal surfaces are affected by handling and weathering. Photos should suffice, however, for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically. Bore, chamber and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Shell contact streaking on the classic Wingmaster chrome plated steel shell carrier is minimal, and the chrome on both it and the bolt is fully intact with no visible peeling. Barrel is 18 inch cylinder bore, 2 3/4 inch shells only; buttstock is full original 14 inch length of pull including the pad. We’re offering this classic 870 Police for only $ 289.95.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
