I had this on layaway thinking there was more wear on it but there really is no blue wear or holster wear on the pistol but please judge for yourself by the pictures. The only real wear are some very light scratches just below the rampant Colt logo on the left side of the pistol where it looks like someone stored it in a drawer and it rubbed against something. The grips are also original and are in excellent shape as well. I might have been the first person to fire it except for the factory of course and I think I put the faint line around the cylinder as well. The action and timing are like new and so is the lock-up. There is no wear on the inside of the pistol as can be seen by the pics and if so then they are from the 18 round that I put through the pistol last week at the range. It was a very accurate pistol and there is no pitting or corrosion on the pistol. I just cannot get myself to carry this in a holster as I'm afraid of messing up the finish so I'm going with a semi-auto instead. Holster is new and is very good quality and super soft on the inside and is a Right hand carry IWB. This has the barrel shroud and I believe it is a 3rd issue pistol. If there is smudges on the blued parts it's from the oil or my prints and not the pistol. Shipping will be $35.00 for Overnight Insured and must go to your FFL Dealer. I am not a FFL holder so make sure that your FFL guy will accept the pistol from me or it will be $50.00 for shipping and transfer and would be sent by priority mail.
