All factory magazines for the past several years shipped with Browning Pistols, and most of the Sigs, have been Mec-Gar. Smith & Wesson has only grudgingly acknowledged Mec-Gar excellence by frequently using them with their polymer frame pistols. Mec-Gar magazines are the only magazines as good as, or better than, original factory mags. They lock the slides open like they're supposed to on the last shot; they free-fall eject correctly; and most important, they are always reliable, even with months of staying loaded. Mec-Gar magazines are constructed of all steel springs, magazine bodies, and spring plates with high impact polymer followers and polymer or steel buttplates. The buttplates to these genuine Mec-Gar 17 round magazines for the Smith & Wesson 59 and 5900 series 9mm pistols are classic polymer, virtually identical to the factory S&W floorplates issued for the past 25 years. Body construction is Stainless Steel. Factory code is MGSW5917N. Most of us are aware that Smith & Wesson Magazines will fit into battery just fine on Daewoo DP51 Pistols; the same holds true for the Star 28 and Star Model 30s ONLY IF a person removes the Star’s magazine safety. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
