Even though this Citori purposely subdues its glassy-slick Miroku finish, it is still quite a looker. This is the Citori Satin Lightning with 28 inch Invector Plus Barrels. The Browning Invector Plus Back-Bored System produces optimal patterns, even with steel shot; and this Citori weighs in at a well balanced 8 1/3 pounds. Receiver and barrel finish are brushed blue, not bright blue; and the walnut stock and forend are satin finished, lightning pistol grip with straight comb and no Monte Carlo. This Citori is furnished with three Invector Plus tubes, a Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder. This model is evidently discontinued, and it appears to us that there will be no more 3 1/2 inch Magnums with walnut stocks except for the White Hunter, a much pricier model. We welcome correction on that subject, production for 3 1/2 inch Citoris, from competent parties. We were able to get only three of these fine shotguns. Replacement pricing on similar available models is upwards of $2,000 apiece in our area.
