Here is what our photographer calls a Texas Mossberg, and the rifle in the photo is one of the first ones we've had. We began stocking a few of these after hearing positive reviews from very serious and dedicated hunters from neighboring McNairy and Hardeman Counties here in West Tennessee. To strike another competitive blow against the Savage, these are true short action rifles. The Savage 110s, fine rifles though they are, are all long action.
