The lower handguard features a custom designed palm swell and milled finger grooves that are both stylish and ergonomic. The laminated wood features a custom blonde stain that is hand applied to bring out the beautiful color highlights of the wood grain. After the wood is stained, multiple coats of a clear hard stock finish are expertly applied to finish setting the color highlights and provide maximum protection for the wood. The hi-tech GUN-KOTE™ we apply is a premier metal coating & finish first specified by the U.S. Military for use on SOCOM Special Sniper Weapons (SPR’s) in 2003. GUN-KOTE™ is superior to parkerized, blued, or air dry finishes in both durability and performance. GUN-KOTE™ satin matte black finish protects metal parts from rust, corrosion, & scratches and will not break down, peel or dissolve. In fact, once applied and heat-cured, the only way to remove it is through abrasive blasting. GUN-KOTE™ is resistant to all known gun solvents, oils, and thinners. GUN-KOTE™ is a highly specialized, hard, abrasion resistant coating that meets all military specifications for protective coatings. GUN-KOTE™ is formulated to provide excellent impact resistance, lubricity (meets military dry firing specs), heat dissipation, chemical resistance, corrosion protection, durability, and scratch resistance. It is specially formulated for salt corrosion protection and meets US Military requirements for "Resistant to Chemicals". GUN-KOTE™ has outstanding heat dissipating qualities, outstanding temperature variation durability (+800 degrees F to -300 degrees F), and outstanding lubrication qualities (self-lubricating benefits from molybdenum disulfide).The brand new American made NDS receiver is made from Ordnance Grade 4130 steel. It is fully heat treated to 40 on the Rockwell "C" Scale for maximum strength and durability. The receiver is a TRUE double stack hi-capacity receiver with the correct "dimples" that securely hold magazines and drums for proper feed and function. This custom built rifle features the original AK47 military chrome lined barrel and bayonet lug. We add a distinctive RPK style threaded muzzle break to further compliment the unique design and look of this custom built rifle. A TAPCO G2 double hook custom trigger group is installed to provide the shooter with a super smooth 3 to 4 lb. trigger pull. Package includes four TAPCO 30rd polymer magazines. These mags are 35% lighter than steel, rustproof, and come with the famous TAPCO lifetime factory guarantee. The Dragon Claw Bipod from UTG features a unique barrel mount that is fast and secure. The legs telescope from 9" to 11", and fold up under the barrel. It is made from lightweight aluminum with a black matte finish. We include a padded scoped rifle case to protect this blonde beauty (case style may vary).
