An interesting snider carbine believed to be a YEOMANRY VOLUNTEER CAVALRY CARBINE with a 19.2 " round barrel in the original caliber of .577 . these were converted from snider long rifles, with brass furniture, with profuse English proofs, on the metal, and butt-plate. Action works good, and the bore is fair to good with rifling and patches of corrosion.Wood is good with possible repairs to keep it in service. The lock-plate has crown toward the rear, and writing in English I can't read, possibly native use in Nepal, or India.Has a fitting pin protector as issued with the gun. A colorful carbine that's seen some interesting history. We don’t have a store, and sell on the internet only. We don’t have a web site. OUR DESCRIPTIONS ARE ACCURATE.THREE DAY INSPECTION ON ALL PURCHASES.
