This is a fine, all original, standard Model 1886, octagon barrel (26") rifle, in scarce .45-90 WCF caliber, (serial number 49xxx). Factory records indicate "Win. 1886, SN 49125, Date in: 11-21-1890, Type: Rifle, Caliber: 45/90, Barrel; Octagon, Trigger: Plain, Date shipped: 4-21-1896, Order: 3575". The condition is extremely clean and probably upwards of 75%, with case colors visible everywhere they're supposed to be, little pitting, and lots of blue on the barrel. Stocks are fine with 80% plus original varnish. The bore is very good and the mechanics perfect. It has a standard semi-buckhorn rear sight and Sheard front sight with ivory bead. As this is an antique firearm, no FFL is needed. This is an exceptional collector's piece. We can take VISA or MasterCard for an additional 2% fee.
