Here is the first military finished Rossi .38 We’ve seen in years. From a New England Collection comes this Rossi 68S Snub. Our Brazilians used a numeral 5 instead of a true S, hence the frequent confusion. From its AA001000 range serial number, it was manufactured in 1990, the year Rossi switched to AA prefix. Its matte finish was an effort to compete with the popular Charter Off Duty series, introduced in the mid 1980s. Manufacturer is Amadeo Rossi of Sao Leopoldo, Brazil, a Taurus affiliate. Importer was Interarms, 10 Prince St., Alexandria, VA. Type is traditional double and single action pocket revolver. Construction is entirely steel, with Brazilian Walnut magna type service grips. Frame is J Size small frame, with Square Butt Grip frame and 3 screw side plate. Barrel is 2 1/8 inch heavy type, cut from an original 3 1/2 inch. Front Sight is serrated blade, integral to the barrel and solid rib assembly. Rear sight is frame integral fixed notch. Cylinder capacity is 5 rounds of .38 Smith & Wesson Special caliber ammunition, and Interarms did Not rate its Rossis for +P ammo. Trigger is .312 serrated face service type with semi-target, shorter spur .400 serrated hammer. Thumb latch cylinder release is classic concave type. Weight empty is a well balanced 20 1/2 ounces with center of gravity at the trigger. Double action trigger pull is smooth and consistent, 12 pound vicinity, with a 4 1/2 pound single action pull. Safety system consists of a transfer bar that prevents the firing pin from touching a cartridge primer unless the trigger is fully depressed. Metal finish is military style matte blue on the frame, barrel, and cylinder, with bright blue hammer, thumb latch, and trigger. Surface detractions are moderate, principally finish streaking and freckling that affects about 20 percent of the metal surfaces. We rate this 68 as Very Good, 75 to 80 percent vicinity by our estimate; but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. Cylinder times and aligns correctly in all five positions. Lateral cylinder play is minimal with the trigger relaxed, but negligible with the trigger fully depressed. Blast effect to the cylinder face and top strap is minimal. We do not believe this revolver was fired more than 200 times, and none with +P ammunition. Replacement pricing on this model 68’s descendant model 351 is $300 or more in our area. We’re offering the attractive and collectable model 68S in the photos, however, for only $ 259.00.
Not transferable to civilian residents of California, District of Colombia, or Massachusetts. Any ammunition or personnel showing in our photos is Not included.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
