The Shooters Wholesale custom SAIGA-XTR AK74 is built for those who simply want the best. This 5.45x39 caliber rifle is flat shooting and extremely accurate. We start with an original Russian SAIGA AK74 rifle, NIB. Each one is hand crafted, custom built “one-at-a-time” with premium components assembled to exacting standards. These are NOT mass produced “assembly line” rifles! Our craftsmen first move the trigger guard and locate it next to the magazine latch. Then we install a customized G2 trigger group for a crisp 3.5# trigger pull. We customize this rife to use ALL standard AK74 (5.45x39) magazines. The original finish is removed by abrasive blasting with aluminum oxide. Next, we apply the mil-spec GUN-KOTE™ metal coating and finish. Designed specifically for special weapons in harsh environments, this metal coating & finish was first specified by the U.S. Military for use on SOCOM Special Sniper Weapons (SPR’s) in 2003. GUN-KOTE™ is far superior to parkerized, blued, or air dry finishes in both durability and performance. GUN-KOTE™ metal coating & finish protects metal parts from rust, corrosion, & scratches and will not break down, peel or dissolve. In fact, once applied and thermal-cured, the only way to remove it is through abrasive blasting. GUN-KOTE™ is resistant to ALL known gun solvents, oils, acids, and thinners. GUN-KOTE™ is a highly specialized, hard, abrasion resistant coating that meets ALL MILITARY SPECIFICATIONS for protective metal coatings. GUN-KOTE™ is formulated to provide excellent impact resistance, lubricity (meets military dry firing specs), heat dissipation, chemical resistance, corrosion protection, durability, and scratch resistance. It is specially formulated for salt corrosion protection and meets US Military requirements for "Resistant to Chemicals". GUN-KOTE™ has outstanding heat dissipating qualities, outstanding temperature variation durability (+800 degrees F to -300 degrees F), and outstanding lubrication qualities (self-lubricating benefits from molybdenum disulfide). The M4 target stock adjusts to 4 positions with an aluminum tube for maximum strength, and a rubber buttpad for recoil reduction. The ergonomic check rest provides precise sighting alignment with the scope plus added shooting comfort. We include an ambidextrous sling adapter on the stock to attach single point & other tactical slings. This original Russian SAIGA receiver has a steel side-rail installed to mount variable power scopes. We thread the original CHROME LINED barrel with mil-spec AK 14:1 left hand metric threads. The US mfg. muzzle break is an exact copy of the original AK74 break. It also acts as a flash suppressor in addition to reducing muzzle blast. The UTG® tactical quad-rail system is made from aircraft aluminum alloy with precision CNC machining. The four mil-spec picatinny rails provide options for all accessories. Black rubber protective rail guards are included. The Israeli military pistol grip has ergonomic finger groves, hinged bottom plate and battery storage tube. The BEC 3x9 variable power scope is ultra-compact with a large 42mm lens for a wide field of view and enhanced brightness. It is mounted to a quick detach side rail mount complete with locking lever and two rails; top & side.
