The Bootleg upper receiver is machined from 7075 aluminum and mil spec hard anodized with M4 feedramps. A lightweight design that eliminates the forward assist saving 1.7oz with ruduced snag risk while chevron ribs maintain rigidity. Upgraded features a captured dust cover door pin and increased barrel mounting circumference for a solid barrel to receiver interface for increased accuracy.

With a Premium Lothar-Walther 18" .223 Wylde Match SS Grade Barrel 'Light-Medium’ 1-8 twist wih Melonite(QPQ) finish and mid-lengh gas system. Lothar-Walther has been a leader in the production of match grade gun barrels for over 80 years. This barrel is made from their own proprietary blend of stainless steel – LW50. This stainless steel was developed in 1994-95 as a safe alternative to 416R and to solve durability problems associated with 416R. No other company can offer this material in their barrels. (The stainless steel allows for seamless machining with a nearly perfect bore and chamber, the polygonal rifling offers less bullet deformation and increased velocity, and the Melonite process greatly increases barrel life, durability and corrosion protection. We feel these features together offer the best balance of accuracy and longevity in any AR barrel on the market today.*This Premium Match Grade barrel is easily capable of shooting sub 1" MOA patterns at 100 yards when using match grade ammunition and proper shooting technique.*)

The PXT lo-pro Melonite adj. gas block with a Melonite mid length gas tube for the ultament in reliability. The Quiet Control Brake/Compensator (Specs: 304 SS solid bar stock, Black Nitide finish) is tuned to the assembly to reduce felt recoil and muzzle climb maintaning target acquisition for faster follow up shots.

The 15" Bootleg PicMods lightweight skeletonized design (7oz) has a full length Mil-Spec picatinny top rail for mounting optics and accessories. The Excusive integrated PicMod Technology ( 3, 6 & 9 o'clock positions) allows most picatinny accessories to mount without adapters while preserving a seamless flat KeyMod mounting surface. The PicMod feature has been extended a the 6 o'clock position for increased vertical grip options.
