Note that it has Agency or Squadron markings on the lower right side plate, over one cylinder chamber, and on the right side of the barrel. Apart from those, Surface detractions are moderate, principally finish freckling, wear on the right side, and grip wear. We rate this model 12 as Very Good, Agency Marked, 75 to 80 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This revolver served in the Caribbean home jurisdiction of Borinquen Air Station, whose operations aimed at Castro’s Cuba and at South- and Central American drug traffickers.Double action trigger pull is smooth and consistent 11 pounds vicinity, and the hammer travels an additional 2 to 5 degrees on double action after the cylinder times. On single action, the hammer travels an extra 20 degrees, and single action trigger pull measures a crisp original 4 3/4pounds. Lateral play to the cylinder is negligible with the trigger relaxed; with the trigger fully depressed, there is no lateral play whatsoever. Carbon deposits under the top strap and on the cylinder face are minimal. Cylinder face to forcing cone gap measures .005. Bore and cylinder chambers are bright and clean. We estimate this 12 has been fired fewer than 200 times. Original M13 Aircrewman revolvers command prices upwards of $4,000 apiece.
