The Model 70 Featherweight is a bolt-action hunting rifle built on Winchester’s Model 70 platform and finished with a satin walnut stock and blued metal. This Featherweight configuration features a cold hammer-forged, free-floating 24in barrel with a recessed target crown and a one-piece forged steel receiver with integral recoil lug for consistent accuracy.
The rifle uses Winchester’s pre-’64 style controlled-round-feed with a claw extractor and a three-position safety. It ships with an M.O.A. trigger system, an alloy one-piece bottom metal and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad to manage felt recoil.
