When actress Alyssa Milano came to Dallas, Texas to protest the 2018 NRAAM this past weekend, she was protected by men with guns. Though, she’s now claiming that those armed men watching her back weren’t her own personal security detail.
“For the record, my personal bodyguard was not armed,” Milano said on Twitter. (Someone should inform the thespian that an unarmed bodyguard is about as useful as a screen-door on a submarine, especially when everyone else has guns).
Video posted by onlookers seemed to tell a different tale. As it’s rather obvious upon inspection that those guards surrounding her were printing under their suit coats.
Milano clarified that they, the ones with guns, weren’t hers. They were just guarding her. Hmmm…
“This was event security, not my bodyguard,” said Milano. “But regardless, this security guy has had training and passed a background check. These are the common sense gun reform policies we are fighting for for [sic] everyone.”

Can’t wait to see the unedited longer video. https://t.co/tHREzjnsZH

Okay. Well, if they weren’t hers, and they really were “event security,” why didn’t she send them away? She could have, right? That would’ve been the intellectually honest thing to do.
By the way, who hired the event security? Milano’s group, the NoRA? If so, then those guards were there to protect event attendees and organizers and that includes Ms. Milano, the leader of NoRA.
So @Alyssa_Milano wants to see the unedited video of her and her armed guards “printing”. I have no idea who she is talking to at first, @rangerholton respectfully chimes in. Watch. Also Alyssa please answer why you lied about having no armed guards. #NRAAM2018 #nra @NRATV pic.twitter.com/BuHsvDB9BG

But she didn’t send them away. Like every other gun-grabbing Hollywood elite, Milano’s not anti-gun when it comes to her safety. She’s anti-gun when it comes to your safety. She wants to tell you that you can’t own certain guns for personal protection. Because she’s an expert in that field. Apparently.
Below is the NoRA declaration. Funny, but what they don’t understand is that their “right” to be free of violence is secured by men with guns. Cops, soldiers, bodyguards, and armed citizens. We are the ones that keep you, the unarmed, safe.
