A good samaritan saved a man from an assault and robbery in downtown Fargo after showing the attackers his concealed handgun.

Fargo Police Lt. Joel Vettel says four people lured the 36-year-old victim into an alleyway around the 900 block of North Pacific Avenue, knocked him unconscious and took his wallet.

After police arrived, they learned of the passerby who had stopped the robbery from happening. The identity of the passerby who saved the day is not being released.

Four people were arrested. Michael Guy and Spencer St. Claire are both charged with robbery. Linda Miller is charged with robbery and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Miller also had outstanding warrant for misdemeanor assault. Flora Eagle-Chasing was charged with robbery and had a warrant out for failing to appear in court.

Yet another example of a good guy with a gun stopping bad people from victimizing innocents.
