Bloomberg Rules Out Running for President, Takes Shots at Trump, Cruz

Rabid anti-gunner Michael Bloomberg will not run for president in 2016. Why? Because he cannot win — his words, not mine.

“When I look at the data, it’s clear to me that if I entered the race, I could not win,” said Bloomberg in an essay titled, “The Risk I will Not Take,” which appeared on his website, BloombergView.

“I believe I could win a number of diverse states — but not enough to win the 270 Electoral College votes necessary to win the presidency,” he added.

Bloomberg has flirted with the idea of running for POTUS several times in the past. And with non-traditional, non-establishment type candidates (Trump and Cruz on the right, Sanders on the left) making real headway this election season, supporters of Bloomberg thought now would be as good of a time as any for the billionaire media magnate to jump into the race.

But it appears after some real thought and reflection, Bloomberg recognized his candidacy would go nowhere — and quite possibly lead to the election of the Republican nominee.

“As the race stands now, with Republicans in charge of both Houses, there is a good chance that my candidacy could lead to the election of Donald Trump or Senator Ted Cruz,” said Bloomberg. “That is not a risk I can take in good conscience.”

The gun control czar went on to accuse Trump and Cruz of being “divisive” and “extreme.”

Donald Trump “has run the most divisive and demagogic presidential campaign I can remember, preying on people’s prejudices and fears,” wrote Bloomberg. Later saying in reference to Cruz, “His refusal to oppose banning foreigners based on their religion may be less bombastic than Trump’s position, but it is no less divisive.”

Since Bloomberg is not running, the next obvious question is who is he endorsing? As we’ve witnessed time and time again, the nanny-stater isn’t afraid to go deep into his pocketbook to champion pet causes — mainly gun control — and contribute to political campaigns.

“I am not ready to endorse any candidate, but I will continue urging all voters to reject divisive appeals and demanding that candidates offer intelligent, specific and realistic ideas for bridging divides, solving problems, and giving us the honest and capable government we deserve,” wrote Bloomberg.

Given his wish to disarm all law-abiding gun owners, I can’t imagine Bloomberg supporting any GOP candidate, all of whom profess to be pro-gun, which means that he is undoubtedly going to support Hillary, the likely Democratic nominee. Yikes! She’s already raised a ton of money. But with the assistance of Bloomberg’s bankroll, it might be just what she needs to push her into the White House.

Please fellow gun owners do not vote for Trump. He has in the past vocally supported “assault weapon” bans. I do not trust this con man and implore you to vote for Cruz or even Rubio or Kasich. I am sick of waking every morning and facing the thought of the loss of my rights.
Thank you and know who you are voting for.

If Michael Bloomberg and Robert Reich had children, would they be able go on the rides at Disneyland?

Bloomberg is a genuine bag of monkey s**t. He wants to tell us all how to eat, drink, live, etc. He couldn’t scare up any votes outside NYC.

I for one, hopefully more need to rule out the possible out come of the presidential race on the only fact of gun control. I served in the USMC during peace time, hence non war situation. I didn’t need to come down from PTSD, but the American soldiers that do have a problem returning to society have been subjected to this kind of restricted gun banning. Yes it makes some sense to evaluate the persons mental ability. But not all people are insane just because they put their life on the line to protect this country from attack. We need to put our attention on the so called Over Seers’ that want to control our lives in our country. I say yes to the back ground checks that are already in place, and no to universal checking. The average person on the street doesn’t want to kill you or any one else. The bad people in this world need to be dealt with in the manner of criminal justice as it always had been. We need to address the candidates who are running for election, that this is our country-not theirs! I do not need some rich self interested person telling me I cant have a weapon for self defense. Not to mention when the War Mongers come to our Country. What will happen then, we give up, because they took our weapon away. The best defense is a well armed militia, not a oppressed nation of citizens to be over ran because of our leaders. We (I) may not agree with all they ideas the candidates are trying to ram down our throats, on pro-anti gun control. But there is a standard to what will be allowed for their misgivings of what the people will tolerate from the people that think they can run our lives better. Some times I just wish there was a none of the above vote, so we can bring up lets say John Wayne instead.

He’s not running because of the lack of votes he would receive.
Also here’s a guy that is anti-gun and walks around with body guards.

Unfortunately, smart move on his part. He would have brought out more anti-dark side voters. He just makes people’s skin crawl. I imagine he already has half a fortune invested in Hillary, with her, “I wouldn’t rule out Australian style ban/confiscation.”

Soon we will have the media circus, when Darth Bloomberg comes out and tells Puke Hillary Gunstalker, “You are my daughter, Puke,” when he comes out and endorses her. … excuse me, I gotta throw up.

Good luck with an American – Australian style ban/confiscation with over 100 million gun owners . . . Molon Labe!
