Caracal USA made a huge splash earlier this summer with the introduction of the Enhanced F pistol. The ergonomics are fantastic. The triggers are well above average, and the bore axis is incredibly low. The quick sight model features an innovative design, with the rear sight, moved to the front of the chamber, making for lighting fast acquisition. So with that much new earlier this year, what was left? Turns out, plenty.CAR814: New Competition Rifle from Caracal USA — SHOT Show 2018

First off, the Caracal Enhanced F is getting a color makeover. Flat Dark Earth and OD Green frames are coming soon, which make for a beautiful bi-tone set up. With the growth of handgun suppressors, Caracal has wisely introduced a suppressor ready version. This will feature taller sights, and a factory threaded the barrel. And finally, a factory tritium sight option. Night sights are a much-needed accessory for any duty gun, and now your Caracal Enhanced F can come out of the box ready to party.

The CAR814

Caracal is much better known in the USA for pistols, but they also make rifles. Leaning on a military heritage at the corporate level, Caracal rifles are in service the world over. But the U.S. market needed something else. And we got it.

Coming soon, the CAR814 competition rifle. Purpose built as an out of the box, 3-Gun ready, competition flavored rifle, the CAR814 is loaded with features. With design input from Travis Gibson of MGM Targets, a pro shooter for as long as I can remember, this is going to be a winner. A Proof Reseach carbon fiber barrel cuts down on weight, mating with an in-house designed muzzle brake. The handguard cuts out all the excess, weighing in at an incredible 6 ounces. The magazine release is four times larger than a factory one, making reloads very quick.

What? Can you tell he’s a hard liquor drinker and copious red meat eater just by looking at him?
