Colt SP1 Vs Colt AR15-A2

Military Arms Channel:

“We have a little shoot-off challenge here between the original Colt SP1 rifle with a 1:12 twist and a later Colt Sporter Target Model (aka A2) with a 1:7 twist. There’s a lot of discussion on the net as to which rifling twist is the best for accuracy using 55gr ammo. Both rifles are fired with iron sights and the results are entertaining.”

A useful comparison under the simplest of conditions. Made some good points to consider. Thanks for providing this.
    (Ignore the complainers.)

These reviews are pointless unless you do a complete load work up for each rifles. Factory loads will never show the accuracy of a given rifle. Even a .010 of a inch in bullet seating can change group size significantly. I still subscribe to his channel.

Great concept for a compairson of a well debated topic. As the saying goes: If its worth doing…..
How about a rematch with match ammo in different weights and a very high quality, high magnifaction scope with fine Crosshair? I did enjoy the vid but with all the variables the results are moot. Thanks
