Cowboy Action Armorer’s Course from AGI

Cowboy Time Machine David Higginbotham Gunsmithing

When I think of armorers, I don’t typically think of cowboys. The old Winchesters and Colts were built to withstand some serious abuse. There wasn’t much that you could modify. If an old 94 got all tore up, well…. You cussed your luck and looked for another one.

But single action shooting societies and cowboy action matches have changed the game. The old cowboys have some finely tuned rifles and pistols. So who’s keeping them running? Must be some cowboy action armorers. And the American Gunsmithing Institute has a course specifically for them.
