Did Donald Trump Put a Hit out on Hillary Clinton?

Did Donald Trump put a hit out on Hillary Clinton?

Well, that’s what some on the left are saying after The Don made the following statement addressing Hillary Clinton’s gun-control agenda.

“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment,” Trump said at a rally in North Carolina Tuesday, according to NBC News.

“By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know,’ Trump continued.

For many, including the Hillary campaign, the latter part of the statement was viewed as a veiled threat to Clinton, as if Trump was insinuating that gun owners ought to assassinate the former Secretary of State.

“This is simple — what Trump is saying is dangerous. A person seeking to be the President of the United States should not suggest violence in any way,” said Robby Mook, Clinton’s campaign manager.

On Twitter, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) doubled down on that thought, saying, “Don’t treat this as a political misstep. It’s an assassination threat, seriously upping the possibility of a national tragedy & crisis.”

However, the Trump train was quick to dismiss claims that the GOP-presidential nominee was instigating violence against Clinton.

“It’s called the power of unification — 2nd Amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power,” said Jason Miller, a Trump campaign spokesman. “And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it won’t be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump.”

Indeed. Trump has received the support of the National Rifle Association, the nation’s largest pro-gun organization. Assuming that a large portion of its five million members show up at the polls to vote for Trump in November, it could tip the scales in his favor.

Of course, Trump has some ground to make up between now and then, as current polling has him trailing Clinton by as many as 10 points. Trump may be able to close in on Clinton if he performs well in the upcoming debates, which will be must-see TV.

These two are as crooked as the day is long. Kill Bill vol 3. except the Genre is a bit different. All you pathetic sheep out there that will carry her water and wipe her ass for her… need to stop drinking that kool-aid. Get a life and stop believing so many fucking lies because it is what you want or wish it could be like. But it never will be. It’s your stupid ignorant kids that can’t pass an elementary school level test in reading, writhing and arithmatic. I’ll be that can’t even spell all three of those words without help, without a spell checker, or any other means other then just good ol brain power which i will bet money that don’t possess. They are dumb fucks that you paid for an education that you never bothered to make sure they were getting… So the question begs, whose more stupid you or your spawn…

LET’ S FACE IT!!! HELLERY IS AN OBNOXIOUS LIEING BITCH AND A COMRADE OF THE LIEING BASTARD BILLY. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GIVE ANY TRUST WHATSOEVER TO ANYTHING SHE SAYS!!!! SHE HAS PELOSI, FEINSTEIN, BOXER, BROWN, SCHUMER, BLOOMBERG, HEALEY, BILLY, AND OTHER ASSHOLES TO ASSIST IN HER EFFORT TO MAKE AMERICANS DEFENSELESS AND DISARMED!!!!! THE DEFENSELESS AMERICANS INCLUDE OLD, DISABLED, POOR, AND THE YOUNG AND HEALTHY!!!! A YOUNG AND HEALTHY PERSON WOULD NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO EVADE ROBBERY, RAPE, PHYSICAL ASSAULT, ETC. IF THE ATTACK CONSISTED OF THREE MEAN GUYS AGAINST ONE YOUNG AND HEALTHY PERSON!!! I TRULY HOPE THAT MANY OF THE DEFENSELESS VICTIMS VOTED FOR HELLERY !!!! AT THIS TIME, I DO NOT BELIEVE SHE WILL BE ELECTED.

IF THERE IS A PRO-GUN DEMONSTRATION IN D.C., COUNT ME IN. ALSO, HELLERY WOULD BE SURE THE U.S. SUPREME COURT WAS STACKED IN HER AND BILLY’S FAVOR AND IN FAVOR OF THE GUN CONTROL ANTI-SECOND AMENDMENT BASTARDS LISTED ABOVE!!!! THIS WOULD PROBABLY REQUIRE A TRIP TO D.C.!!!! IT WOULD BE A BURDENSOME TRIP BUT IT WOULD BE WORTH IT IF WE KEPT OUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS.

It’s crazy that a statement taken out of context as a threat can garner so much hoopla. But actual criminal activity by HRC is brushed aside like its nothing, with the AG and FBI stating the same baloney!

  • Aardvark August 14, 2016, 1:36 pm

So, Clinton has a long history of known crimes and questionable actions that have lead to people dying, but the big news in the media is conjecture on what Trump might have meant. To all you socialist supporting drones out there, watch “Clinton Cash” on Youtube and get a clue of whom you are supporting. Clinton made it possible for Putin to acquire 20% of the Uranium mining in the U.S. while she was Secretary of State, all for donations to the Clinton Crime Foundation and a $600,000 speech from Bill. They have accepted over $400,000,000 from terrorist countries in the middle east. She allowed our Ambassador and American heroes to die in Benghazi because she didn’t want to bring attention to the fact that terrorism is out of control there before the mid-term elections. The Clinton’s have left a trail of bodies over the past several decades trying to cover up all the illegal scandals they were involved in. If she is elected, she will be the nail in America’s coffin, because we will no longer exist as the America our founders intended. We will no longer exist as the country people from all other nations desire to immigrate to, for the freedoms and opportunity we have here.

  • Jim Bahen August 13, 2016, 2:57 pm

Could it be possible because the Clintons have had so many people who died, after they challenged the Clintons, that they have a raging paranoia when it sounds like something they have done !!

  • Ricardo August 13, 2016, 2:21 pm

Donald Trump is naïve to believe that he could actually be President of the United State of America. Even more naïve are those Trump supporters who thinks he even has a chance of winning in November! This should have be a “walk away” election for the Republicans but they couldn’t come up with someone who could even beat Hillary!
Brace your self Trump supporters; Hillary will be your next President!

    • Alan August 13, 2016, 6:13 pm

Can we count on you to come back here and say you were wrong when it all is over?

      • Gary S Smith November 11, 2016, 11:54 pm

It is all over now, and again the bias and lack of logic of the News Media is exposed.

    • Alan2 August 13, 2016, 8:11 pm

Ricardo, you sound driven by ego, like na na na na, I told you so. Get a real clue of the big picture here, kid.
You can either do all you can to help Clinton get elected, or all you can to help Trump get elected.
Trump may be a little unpredictable, but Clinton sure IS NOT unpredictable – Clinton has a 40 year history of anti-second amendment activities, with no gray area on it. She is VIRULENT socialist, repressive progressive, outright tyrant.
If Clinton gets the White House, coupled with this current crop of traitor Republicans like McCain, McConnell, and Ryan, there is every chance that Heller will be reversed and the second amendment right to keep and bear will be declared to be a “privilege.” Anybody who has a few generations of family history in this country knows full well that the right to keep and bear has ALWAYS been unalienable and not to be even touched, but that will not stop a bunch of progressive liars from saying otherwise.
Don’t blame Trump even if he was pointing out the obvious , which I state right here- in America, a confiscation attempt like was executed in Australia and Canada will *not end in bloodshed, it will *start in bloodshed with an ending no-one can know.

    • Joe McHugh August 14, 2016, 6:57 am

Ricardo, sounds like somebody is unhappy with the Republican Presidential nominee. And like a little child, that somebody is trying to convince the readers that the “Big Bad Donald Trump” is like the scary monster that lives under his bed.

Hey Ricardo, get a pair of ruby studded slippers, close your eyes and wish with all of your might, while clicking those slippers together, that the Donald isn’t your President on November 9th. Oh, I almost forgot. You have to take your thumb out of your mouth so you can repeat the words “Please let the Hildabeast win.”, over and over. Yup, the Hildabeast is the Fairy Godmother of Illegal aliens with Hispanic names like Ricardo.

  • John August 13, 2016, 11:56 am

I don’t own a gun, but I do support the right to buy and own one if I want to, and do have a FOI card. What is funny here is that 8 years ago it was Obama that was going to take away our 2nd Amendment rights and/or limit our right to buy ammunition, I never heard him make that claim. Now it’s Clinton, same spin from the NRA and other extremists, again I never heard her say she wants to eliminate the 2nd.
Early on I thought I could support Trump, all that has changed, I believe this guy is off the deep end and wants to become King Don the 1st. I have heard him say he is the only one who can fix what is wrong with America. Maybe he has a way for America to file for Bankruptcy, he seems to be good at that.

    • Alan August 13, 2016, 6:12 pm

You didn’t hear that claim because you listen to the wrong news outlets. In addition, you don’t pay attention to any legislation, because the attempts to limit and even ban some guns have been tried, and are a matter of Congressional record.
In short, your ignorance is apparently your bliss.
Now, to showcase even more foolishness, with the current Debt that Obama nd the Demmies have managed to accumulate, we are INDEED Bankrupt.
Honestly, get your head out of the sand.

    • Tom Horn August 13, 2016, 8:17 pm

      John,

Thing is, people didn’t know which Obama to believe, the one who said, “I don’t want to take away your guns.” or the one who said:
“I don’t believe people should to be able to own guns.”
      – Barack Obama (during conversation with economist and author John Lott Jr. at the University of Chicago Law School in the 1990s)

“My first priority will be to reinstate the assault weapons ban as soon as I take office. Within 90 days, we will go back after kitchen table dealers, and work to end the gun show and internet sales loopholes. In the first year, I intend to work with Congress on a national no carry law, 1 gun a month purchase limits, and bans on all semi-automatic guns.”
–Barack Obama, VPC Fund Raiser, 2007

“But weapons that were designed for soldiers in war theaters don’t belong on our streets. Part of it is seeing if we can get an assault weapons ban reintroduced.”

“Police chiefs are asking our help to get weapons of war and massive ammunition magazines off our streets.”

“The United States does not have a monopoly on crazy people…And yet we kill each other in these mass shootings at rates that are exponentially higher than anyone else. Well, what’s the difference? The difference is that these guys can stack up a bunch of ammunition in their houses, and that’s sort of par for the course.”

They know which Hilary to believe:

“I think it would be worth considering doing it on the national level if that could be arranged.” – Hillary Clinton, on Australian Style Gun Control

“When we got organized as a country, [and] wrote a fairly radical Constitution, with a radical Bill of Rights, giving radical amounts of freedom to Americans, it was assumed that Americans who had that freedom would use it responsibly …. When personal freedom is being abused, you have to move to limit it.”
      – Bill Clinton

“When we got organized as a country, [and] wrote a fairly radical Constitution, with a radical Bill of Rights, giving radical amounts of freedom to Americans, it was assumed that Americans who had that freedom would use it responsibly …. When personal freedom is being abused, you have to move to limit it.”
      – Bill Clinton

    • Alan2 August 13, 2016, 8:19 pm

Well John, you missed most of what happened the past 8 years. First there was “Fast and Furious”, a clear attempt to manipulate and lie to the electorate in order to build a false case for gun control. And people died because of that situation, including border agents and Mexican citizens, because Obama’s BATF caused guns to go into the hands of the drug cartels. No, Obama’s order to do it was never exposed because your boy in the white house has been smart enough to use cutouts for everything he has done to break the law. Check out Lois Lerner of the IRS for example. And Gruber on Healthcare for example. And Centcom manipulations. There are many who could finger Obama, but they have gotten out of it in each case.
If you do not know what Fast and Furious was, you should in good conscience exempt yourself from this discussion because you are too ill informed to make an educated decision.
If you DO know about Fast and Furious, then you are a sad and pathetic troll, and your ilk is way worse than any sincere supporter of the constitution could ever be.
You let us know which you are.

    • Tom Horn August 13, 2016, 8:48 pm

John, “…and/or limit our right to buy ammunition.”

You seemed to have forgot (or more likely were never informed by the mainstream liberal media) about the 2014-2015 BATFE proposed ban (end run around Constitutional Law) of M855 ammunition. The BATFE backed down. This attempt to limit Americans access to ammo was definitely backed by Pres. Obama. You need to broaden your news sources.

    • Tom Horn August 14, 2016, 12:12 pm

“What is funny here is that 8 years ago it was Obama that was going to take away our 2nd Amendment rights and/or limit our right to buy ammunition, I never heard him make that claim.” – John

You do remember the Obama Government’s artificially create ammo shortage of 2013-2014, where the Obama Administration UN-Constitutionally militarized many federal civilian agencies (IRS, Weather Bureau, DHS, etc…) for purposes yet to be determined, buying up millions of weapons and rounds of ammo, creating a shortage for civilians and law enforcement in this country.

I was working in a large firearms store at the time. We had LEOs coming in trying to buy enough rounds to complete their yearly qualifications, and unable to do so. We did not receive a semi-auto black rifles for many months, in a store that sold hundreds of rifles to civilians a month. This drove the prices up on ammo and firearms, that has not yet receded to pre-2013 levels, even after inflation. Increased prices force those at the lower end of our economy to abandon firearms as an option in their protection of family and Country.

Wake up and smell the coffee there, Rip Van Winkle

Get real!!!!!!! If he had done it she would be DEAD by now. He is stupid enough to do that. dumb maybe but not stupid. I for one would not even believe that of Trump, I would however believe it of the DNC.

  • Tom Horn August 12, 2016, 4:40 pm

Does it bother anyone else that Donald called us, “the Second Amendment people?” Last time I checked, all Americans are 2nd Amendment people. Why would he separate himself from that group, or separate us as a group?

    • Tom Horn August 12, 2016, 5:59 pm

I’m just saying, calling us, the 2nd Amendment people, sounds like he’s insinuating, “You know, those 2nd Amendment kooks.”

      How about this instead:
“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment,” “By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although,…” [we Patriotic Americans, who believe in our God Given Rights, as noted by our forefathers in the Bill of Rights, will have a thing or two to say about it.] Trump continued. No threat there, only a promise.

Trump just needs a speech writer, to stay on script, and take ownership of his position on 2A. I’m available, Donald.

Very few people can see what is going on in this Country/Presidential election. To quote Paul Helinski: “Because they are all on the same side, and it isn’t our side.” Examine the evidence for yourself. America has been sold already. They’re just trying to get us to sign-off on the under coating.

    • Alan2 August 13, 2016, 8:22 pm

Depends what you call an American. I live in a liberal bastion of supposed Americans, and I can tell you that a high percentage of them are decidedly NOT second amendment people. Again, you are not well informed of the truth, or are intentionally distorting it.
And no, it does not bother a true supporter of the second amendment, because we are painfully aware that many citizens here have been brainwashed with lies in order to bring it down. The quickest way to get rid of the first amendment is to get rid of the second amendment.

  • Don Richardsib August 12, 2016, 4:31 pm

If you think the 2nd amendment is an individual right, if you think you have the right to own a gun to protect yourself and your family, or if you just want to own a gun for any reason:
You better be doing everything you can to see that Hillary is NOT elected. She has been saying, ever since Bill was elected in 1992, that the second amendment is not an individual right, that civilians have no right to own guns and that the guns in civilian hands should be confiscated. NOW, of course, Hillary says she supports the 2nd amendment. But if you pay attention to that, she frequently follows that with some quiet statement that indicates she thinks the 2nd amendment only gives the right of gun ownership to the military, the National Guard or some other misleading bs.
If you own a gun, you need to do what you can to oppose Hillary because the only persons who will benefit from her being elected are Hillary and the other leftist elites who want to rule like royalty over the rest of us.

This Country needs to wake up and look in its own back yard. We can’t even take care of our own people, but we keep letting people into our Country and pay for their health needs, housing, food, and when I go for the same they say Im over qualified. That’s politics pull your head out of your ass.

We already know her husband is a Liar and if Hillary gets elected she will be influenced by her lying husband and she already said she will put her husband back in a Gov. paid job, so the question is do you support two liar`s over what our God commanded, or do you support Trump, who is a normal American that doesn`t kiss everyone`s butt to run for a Office. I`m ashamed of the Democratic Party for supporting Hillary & Bill Clinton for President as a Christian and the Republican Party that got Trump to run for Office in the first place. I`m Democrat that supports Trump and will Vote for him at least he doesn`t have to be a Liar, he tells it like it is and for him being a employer I`d rather work for a American than to send all our jobs out of our country on credit. . I`m going to change to a republican party

If you are worried about getting hurt or your car keyscratched, you better keep your eye on Clinton communist supporters. Trump supporters have no history of posing a threat to anyone..so far.

  • perlcat August 12, 2016, 11:58 am

It’s like watching a bunch of second-graders whining to the teacher about everything Trump does that they don’t like. What he said was rhetoric; when the left does rhetoric, they don’t care, but when Trump does it, all of a sudden the exact same words somehow become magically hateful. I get it, though, I seriously do. It’s because like any whiny second grader, the reason they’re doing this is because they have a full-on crush for the Donald and they don’t know how to say it. They say “Trump said this! Trump did that! Trump went there!”, and all’s I’m hearing is “Trump Trump, Trump”. It’s a far cry from the Klinton Days, when all we heard was “Tramp, Tramp, Tramp”, so I guess that’s progress.

  • Ralph August 12, 2016, 11:56 am

Trump was no my first choice byt it has become almost perverted the way the liberal media and Rhinos are attacking everything he says. He could say he loves puppies and they would spin it to mean he cooks and devours little dogs. Aside from all that, it is now a mute point. Hillary has successfully managed to dodge the hand of justice, and that along with the corruption in Washington, uninformed voters, political elites that would lose their powers and perks, and support from the most radical left organizations, WILL be the next president come November. I suggest we gun owners get used to everything imaginable when it comes to her attack on the 2nd Amendment. from expanded “assault weapon” bans, to Australian style registration, and confiscation. There are those who say try would have to pry guns from their cold dead hands. Well lets be real, they will and you won’t even be a memory the next day. America is at a crossroad. This election is not about a president, its about the Supreme court and how it will shape America for the next 30+ years. There are only 2 choices, one that is assured to disarm responsible gun owners, and the other who is passionate about protecting the 2nd Amendment. The choice for us is clear. We can’t afford to blow it this time around because of “principles”.

When will America realize that the media controls America? Anyone that doesn’t believe this, only has to go back and do some research on what Trump has said in the past vs what they reported him to say. Every single time they could twist what he said, they have. Everything he has said, if it could be reconstructed into something else, it has been. It isn’t just with Trump. Look at all the twisted stories they have put out about BLM to continue to perpetrate racial division to continue the Liberal agenda. Not one single National news source reports the facts – they spew opinions to further agenda. Not CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC MSNBC, Fox and on ever report facts that haven’t been skewed. They have brain-washed America to think like them. My advice is to remove all National News channels from your idiot boxes. Read your news, by choice, and then, and this is very important, RESEARCH what you have read. We have all the information at our fingertips but Americans follow what they hear, then parrot it to others – which continue the ignorance stream. People wake up!!! America is being stolen from the very citizens that truly love her. Socialists agendas prevail everywhere you look. A Socialist that hasn’t had an honest job his entire life, runs for President and has a chance? Really? In America? And sadly, when you asked supporters if they know what Socialism truly is? They didn’t know. And when explained – replied “No, that is not what I want.” Another choice is a patholigigal liar that guarantees business as usual in Government. And lastly we have a borderline schizo that I truly believe was made a nominee by the media beacause it guaranteed a continuation of their agenda. Spend your time that is wasted on Facebook (another Liberal, brainwashing media source that purposely manipulated what you saw on their sight, like Google search did by ‘Accidently’ leaving off Trump as a Presidential nominee) and research everything you hear, read or see on TV. If you don’t, America will soon be Amerika!

  • Phred August 12, 2016, 11:48 am

Low class headliner..no need to fan the flames…Everyone with an iota of sense know that Trump meant by voting her out.

    • Jason August 12, 2016, 12:10 pm

Exactly! Just more poor ol me, evil Trump propaganda! My God, the lies that comes out of her mouth!

    • Damon August 13, 2016, 1:16 am

Except that the only way the Clinton would “get to pick her judges” would be after she was elected POTUS, when it would be too late for voting to be an issue, so having “the 2nd Amendment people” vote isn’t what he meant.

Watching my fellow American citizens, all of whom here share my passion for and love for this country and our enumerated rights, apologize for this silverspoon fed billionaires continuing gaffes and random assholery is saddening. Wasn’t the reason this person was admirable was because he said what he meant? Why does he need you, Joe Average Citizen, to translate his brainsick meanderings if that is the case?

Neither of these people is worthy of the office they seek. Our nation, we the people, deserve and should demand better. Period.

      • Alan2 August 13, 2016, 8:39 pm

And your equivocating “never Trump” point of view will certainly put Clinton into the white house – which means, you are the person responsible for the hell that will bring down on second amendment supporters and owners of firearms.
How about realize the primary is over, and pick either Clinton or Trump? At least be honest about what you are doing. If you pick Clinton, it is YOU who has just assassinated the second amendment.

  • steve ames August 12, 2016, 11:48 am

Bull shit he was not talking about voting because he said if she gets to pick he judges that implies she was already elected.

    • Clyde August 12, 2016, 12:22 pm

Steve – your command of the English language leaves something to be desired. The word “if” does not imply that she was already elected. That must be your little way of trying to distort Mr Trumps comments.

      • jay August 12, 2016, 12:36 pm

actually his comment made perfect sense.
he also said, “…but that would be a horrible day,” right after he said, “but the second amendment people…maybe, I don’t know.”
why are all the right wing/pro gun media/groups/people(including this article) leaving that out? why would it be “a horrible day” if the “second amendment people” vote for him?

    • kiloyard August 12, 2016, 12:24 pm

She would be elected President, not Sovereign; her appointments would still require Senate approval. That is where the political clout of 2A supporters would come into play.

      • Jeff August 12, 2016, 3:20 pm

You cant be that stupid ?

        • Alan2 August 13, 2016, 8:41 pm

This is your best contribution? Calling someone who disagrees with you “stupid.” Bravo.

  • Ronald Wallace August 12, 2016, 11:45 am

How many American’s have lost their lives serving our great nation, yet she will give a speech, raise her arm and say “I’ve got your back”!
Yes Hillary when you are around, I do watch my back, you yourself are not qualified for the highest off in the land! Liar…

  • Old Clockguy August 12, 2016, 11:39 am

Man, this is what I like to see, some get-down-and-dirty dialogue, much as had been the norm around the corner diner roundtable discussions over coffee that we had years ago when I was a young business owner trying to impress everyone with my knowledge of things that allegedly mattered! Back then, it seemed to have more impact if only for the dozen or so participants in the “roundtable discussions” that went on daily, maybe because we sat face to face with our colleagues and friends and made our statements in the flesh to each other, facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice all included for no extra cost to anyone.

But these are discussions of the “electronic age” and they take place in anonymous places out on the ethernet with anonymous participants and everyone has their own agenda to argue but only a very limited chance to get into the fray. I have read the ridiculous, the idiotic, and the downright stupid remarks, and I have also seen many very good points brought to the “table” here this morning. But, we really do not know who our “adversaries” are in this debate on this blog because many of us have pen names which we use to hide our real identities and we allow ourselves the privilege of making certain statements the likes of which we would never have the kahunas to say with a truthful ring to our voices and an honest look on our faces if this were all on a face to face basis. But that is an absurdity at best and purely imaginary at the least as most of the comments aired on this one small website are but little dust bunnies floating in the morning sun’s rays, illuminated for one brief moment and never to be heard from again.

We all seem to be able to “talk the talk” when it comes time to critique the next guy but talk is so cheap nowadays that it isn’t worth the time it takes to speak it let alone type it up for visual display on this board. But, I will challenge each one of you to speak your mind with dignity and as much of an element of the truth as you see it. We have already read so much from the muck rakers and I personally tire of the insulting meaningless garbage that so many people spew out for lack of anything sensible to contribute to these discussions.

But, the other part of my challenge is this: come election day, a day so far in the distance that many don’t even know the date or the day of the week, take a moment out of each of your lives and go out to wherever you cast your votes and do your rightful duty and contribute to this election, each equal to one another. This far ahead, there is NO excuse for not voting! You have plenty of time to order an absentee ballot, you can vote early in most states if your schedule does not permit you to be present on that Tuesday, and if those alternate voting choices don’t suit you, contact your precinct committee people and they will find another choice for your pleasure. But, take one hour out of your life, probably 10 minutes is more of a reality but allocate an hour on November 8th and “walk the walk” and VOTE. I don’t give a rat’s ass WHO you vote for, the choice isn’t a pleasant one for me, I can assure you. But VOTE for the lesser of the 2 evils that we have allowed to run in this election, take you vote and make it count for something. If you don’t do that, I hope you have enough self pride to stay away from the bulletin boards and the blog boards and all the other social get together boards and keep your LAZY MOUTH SHUT, after the election is over. Nobody but NOBODY wants to hear the armchair election coverage, after the fact, and particularly if you didn’t even care enough about your future and your great country to get out there, for less time than it would take to drink a cold Bud and gobble down a Johnsonville brat, and cast your vote.

    • Wayne 9 August 13, 2016, 8:27 am

Old Clockguy, I hear what you’re saying. All the people on here, spouting their opinions like they have a clue as to what they think they know. Some, if done in a face to face conversation, might feel “the agony of defeat” from their comments. Some, may actually get their point across better. Some, may simply get ignored, as is apparent by what you say.

My point being, Old Clockguy, is that it doesn’t matter if what one person says seems ignorant to you, me or Joe Blow…that’s their opinion…their contribution. It doesn’t matter if someone states the obvious. To them, that’s what they are offering to maybe clarify their point. It doesn’t matter if someone says something so profound, that the very fabric of time & space, have been altered for eternity!

What does matter, Old Clockguy, is that these people that you put down, ignore, lift up or write off as an insignificant source of usable information, are doing the same as you & I…exercising another, equally important right…our first amendment. It’s not up to you, me or anyone, to stiffle their voice, whether we agree with it or not.

You say, most are hiding behind a pseudonym & I qoute; “But, we really do not know who our “adversaries” are in this debate on this blog because many of us have pen names which we use to hide our real identities and we allow ourselves the privilege of making certain statements the likes of which we would never have the kahunas to say with a truthful ring to our voices and an honest look on our faces if this were all on a face to face basis.” I’m glad you said “us”, Mr. “Old Clockguy”, as you obviously enjoy the anonymity of being a “keyboard warrior” as well. Although, I would truly enjoy seeing the “honest look” on your face in a round table discussion with us peons, I do not forsee that happening, as I suspect your “kahunas” are not large enough in their own right.

As much as I have enjoyed this diatribe, friend Old Clockguy, I have other enlightened conquerors of internet dialogue to express my first amendment right with…although, I must say, your ramblings brought me a significant pleasure in engaging. By the way, that’s my real name at the top. Enjoy your day.

      • Alan2 August 13, 2016, 8:54 pm

Yes, and yours is a pointless diatribe. The bottom line is that people who hold an opinion based on acquiescing to brainwashing due to lack of seeking information, and lack of diligently developing critical thinking skills, are THE problem. A diligently informed populace will not be deceived, and therefore will hold elected officials to a higher standard.

A willfully ignorant populace is THE problem – they watch their freedom snatched away a piece at a time and never even realize it happened until far to late to correct it, then fall for the blame game politics. How many times did Obama’s piss-poor management of the economy, and hands off handling of bankers destruction of our economy, end with him say “Bush caused it” and having a large ignorant portion of the public believe him?

No sir, all opinions are not equal. I did not see you quoting any factual information in what you wrote, much less any sources. I most definitely can tell you what are NOT trustworthy sources: CNN, OPB, NPR, ABC, MSNBC, NYTimes, LATimes, AP, Snopes, Wikileaks, and Google. If you believe everything they tell you to be the truth, then you are not tracking the events over the past 30 years.
One of my favorite from CNN is “the AR15 can’t be used to hunt, it is only for killing people.”
Do you shoot? Do you think a 5.56 round can hunt a coyote or hog? Do you think a 6.8 or 308 round fired from an AR can bring down a deer? Are those not examples of hunting with an AR? Do you not believe a decent quality AR can take out a target 800 yards away?

If you can’t give me the answers to these questions RIGHT NOW, then you are NOT well informed and have no business stating an opinion on the subject.
What I am saying is, yes respect other people. But no, do NOT respect IGNORANT opinions. They are decidedly NOT equal to well informed opinions.

    • Thomas Beck August 13, 2016, 9:12 am

Right on… those who don’t vote should keep their mouths shut

  • Ricardo San Juan August 12, 2016, 11:13 am

The NRA needs to do some serious public relations to show mainstream America that not all gun owners are nut ball fanatics. They have had several chances since Sandy Hook but have failed to do anything to represent gun owners as reasonable, responsible people. Donald Trump’s irresponsible remarks does nothing to support the second amendment instead it only adds to the public’s perception that all gun owners, the NRA and anyone who supports the second amendment are all nut ball fanatics. There are three hundred and thirty million Americans opposed to the NRA membership of five million. At some point I believe public opinion will matter!

    • Paddy August 12, 2016, 11:58 am

“The NRA needs to … show mainstream America”? Sorry to break it to ya, but at this point the NRA IS “mainstream America”…. While not all of these have formally joined the NRA (or one of the other similar groups!), make no mistake about it, firearms owning citizens have become the mainstream. The elites who prattle about what they want to present as “mainstream:” would do very well to consider this….

      • Plato August 12, 2016, 2:01 pm

Seriously? With Ted Nugent on the Board of Directors?

If you want to be mainstream, put community/shooting sports leaders on the Board.

        -NRA Lifer

      • Ricardo August 13, 2016, 2:58 pm

If the NRA is mainstream America (as you suggest)…then it should be a shoe in for Donald Trump in November.
Brace yourself Paddy…Hillary Clinton will be your next president

    • Jason August 12, 2016, 12:14 pm

I hear what you’re saying, but they have upped their PR and advertising especially since this election had been going on. The more the better though! I still don’t know if it would make a difference, the majority of anti-gun people are unwilling to listen.

    • Fire control August 12, 2016, 12:26 pm

Yo Rico: You obviously haven’t been paying attention. There are a number of comments made by knowledgeable individuals on several networks that explain what the NRA is. Suggest you arm yourself with the facts before spewing more disinformation. One very obvious fact is, the vast majority of NRA members are as sane as “Ol” Sigmund was.

    • Ricardo August 13, 2016, 2:08 pm

      REALLY???????

    • Alan2 August 13, 2016, 9:03 pm

If you mean by representing gun owners as reasonable people to be “accept new forms of gun control just to show a willingness to compromise, despite these new controls will do nothing to actually reduce crime” , then you are dead wrong. We should compromise on NOTHING. That is why I am a life member of NRA. The result of a databased and tracked list of owners and each item they own can only end in tyranny. I will accept the risk of an occasional crime over an outcome of totalitarianism.
On the other hand, the areas we KNOW we could make changes to reduce crime, such as background checks on people coming from muslim sharia law controlled hate-America countries, are the things that these “reasonable people” absolutely REFUSE TO DO. The reason is obvious: they want to keep creating a crisis, which they milk and use as the next reason for more disarmament of the civilian populace.
You and others seem to ignore the big unasked question: “why do these elites and progressive NWO types worry so much about an armed populace?” When you can dive deep and follow that line of thought, you will not like where it takes you.

  • John August 12, 2016, 11:09 am

If you consider that a threat to her then that threat was not levyed against her by Donald Trump but against all elected officials by the founding fathers who wrote the second amendment. It has stood for over two centuries as a threat against any who would impose their will over the will of the people. All elected officials should be reminded when they take office that they may be in grave danger should they violate the constitution in certain manners.

  • Johnny Russell August 12, 2016, 11:08 am

Trump is a fool. Plain and simple.

    • Paddy August 12, 2016, 12:00 pm

Perhaps, and Clinton is an evil monster. So what do suggest, given the choice between a clown and an evil monster? Huuummmm?

    • Fire control August 12, 2016, 12:31 pm

Johnny; Get a grip son! If that’s the best you can do to degrade a man who has amassed a fortune with his brain you better buy yourself a good dictionary.

  • Croozer313 August 12, 2016, 10:43 am

I’m not a Clinton fan but there is no way I’m voting for Trump.

    • Jerry Jones August 12, 2016, 11:06 am

Go ahead….Let Hillary win so she can load the Supreme Court with Liberal Justices…..one seat already vacant and look for Ginsburg to retire if Clinton wins.
Then KISS you 2nd Amendment rights away……..But hey you got Principles ….you didn’t vote for Trump

      • Doug August 12, 2016, 11:58 am

Go ahead and promote your fear? Do you have any idea what it would take to abolish the second or any amendment for that matter? I doubt it but have no fear. It would have happened on Obama’s watch, but it didn’t. Hmmmm…….

    • Paddy August 12, 2016, 12:02 pm

She’s also on record, repeatedly (!) of favoring restrictions on American’s freedom of speech to avoid giving possible offense to Islamists. So kiss the 1st Amendment bye-bye too….

  • Super B August 12, 2016, 10:28 am

How many of Clinton’s enemies have met untimely and suspicious ends?

  • Jay C August 12, 2016, 10:04 am

Is it still April? This election has got to be a joke someone has got to jump out and yell April fools any minute. That being said if Hillary wins this country is blind and asleep. Trump probably is not a good choice either. I am actually terrified.

    • JONDARMES August 12, 2016, 10:27 am

I too am terrified, if Hillary gets in you can kiss your country goodbye. How about 3 more Ginsbergs on the supreme court??? Trump is the only viable choice.
GO TRUMP, MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN, 2016!!!

  • Alan August 12, 2016, 9:53 am

This IS simple, actually. Trump is saying that of ALL the people out there who could stop Hillary from getting her way, the “2nd Amendment people” have the POLITICAL clout to do so.
We are the various groups out there defending our 2nd Amendment rights, why wouldn’t it be us?
You see, there are MANY ways to interpret that statement, and gutless scared people will ALWAYS take the worst interpretation of any statement, as will those who prey UPON those gutless people.
Ya’know, I never realized so many on the Left had studied the Goebbels technic of propaganda.
You must admit, they are good students, aren’t they?

    • Clem August 12, 2016, 10:18 am

Totally correct! It’s disingenuous for the writer of this article to slant it any other way. I’m quite disappointed for GA to continue the left wing media’s narrative so should I expect a Hitlery endorsement from them any day now?

    • Mark August 12, 2016, 10:46 am

Trump made a veiled remark that 2 amendment people own guns. I don’t think he was threatening her, but as a presidential candidate he can’t say things like this. It will destroy his chances at being elected.

      • Acast August 12, 2016, 12:10 pm

Hillary done it too…. and th3 media did not went ballistic, why??

      • R Lee August 12, 2016, 10:49 pm

I’m afraid he and the RNC cooked his chances months ago.

  • Robert Rockwell August 12, 2016, 9:49 am

I think your byline sould stick to the storyline, it was a bit misleading. Trump puts out hit on Hillary was improper and overdone. We all know better.

    • MarkOwen August 12, 2016, 10:35 am

Everyone in the MSM like to blow things way out of proportion. He stated a fact if we all vote we can keep the phony bitch out of the White House. Problem is he always gives the MSM fuel to use against him. I’m going to vote for him no matter what he says. No matter what the MSM prints about him. The RINOs will do all they can to stop him but the We The People will have our day if we all show up on election day and do what is right for the country and the people! A pledge is a pledge and if they want to not honor theirs, we still need the GOP in Congress and House to have the majority otherwise the Country will be lost to the left wing communists. The only thing Obozo did well is put the right people in positions of power, and we have to get them out or all will be lost!

  • PatriotPete August 12, 2016, 9:47 am

Veiled threats are a perceived threat, worthless in court if someone were to press the matter. What is hilarious is how the looney, two faced left lets Alec Baldwin rant on the tonight show how Henry Hyde should be killed for prosecuting poor Bubba Clinton years ago but that straight out threat to do bodily harm against an elected official didn’t even garner what should have been a federal charge of intent towards promoting willful murder. Why does the left get s free pass? See his rant here:
    http://hotair.com/greenroom/archives/2011/01/11/alec-baldwin-rant-to-kill-republicans/

  • William J Zuggi August 12, 2016, 9:43 am

Are these Anti-Gun people living in the real world. There is no way Mr. Trump would ever insinuate about putting a death threat to a political opponent. These people are going to take everything Trumph says and twist it to make these idiots believe anything she has to say. Mr. Trump please be careful in what you say from here on out to the election because sometimes like Gen.George S Patton his mouth was his own worst enemy and we all at times do not think we just blurt things out. So let’s be careful and go on to the Whitehouse.

  • Mike the Knife August 12, 2016, 9:39 am

The Liberal Media take EVERYTHING that Donald Trump says and loos for ways of twisting his words like a wordsmith.
No matter what words come of his mouth they will find fault in it.
It reminds me of Groucho Marx asking one of the contestants on his show, “answer YES or No, Do you still beat your wife ?”
We will see a lot more of this in the next coming months to come.
With ALL of the bodies (literally) in the Clinton closet , I wouldn’t be surprised to see an attempt on Donald Trump’s life.
You can always count on progressive liberals doing the same things that they accuse the conservative of doing.

  • Bryan D August 12, 2016, 9:35 am

9/11, Hurricane Katrina, Pearl Harbor, Hurricane Rita, etc. we’re all national tragedies! Please don’t try to say the attempted assassination of Hillary Clinton would be a “national tragedy and crisis”, Senator Chris Murphy! That is just insulting to the families that had to endure the REAL tragedies. Although I do not wish death on any human being (no matter how evil she may be), I would not lose one minute of sleep either way!

  • Larry Bowers August 12, 2016, 9:32 am

This comment should be removed from your site. I am a gun owner and competitive shooter, but Trump’s comments are despicable and should not be given credence. Many, many Republicans and gun owners, as well as many high ranking military and former intelligence chiefs disavow all of Trump’s extreme rhetoric and crazed comments. The man is unhinged and does not deserve in any way to lead our country.

    • Monica August 12, 2016, 9:59 am

      Amen, Mr Bowers.
I am a gun owner and support the second amendment, but I don’t condone the
      hate spewed by Trump.

    • Mike August 12, 2016, 10:30 am

So you are a Hillary supporter, you obviously agree that “At this point, What difference does it make”.

      • Trump 2016 August 12, 2016, 10:57 am

Sure they are Hillary supporters . Larry Bowers is continuing the Democrats talking points .Its obvious he is a Hillary supporter and likely wants our gun rights destroyed .

    • david August 12, 2016, 10:37 am

Just about every republican I know, young and old, agrees with you that Trump’s comments were extreme, despicable, crazed and threatening.

    • Clyde August 12, 2016, 11:18 am

You my friend have decided to read your own meaning into his comments like all of these other people have. How you can interpret his comments into a death threat is a total stretch of the imagination as far as I am concerned.

    • Clyde August 12, 2016, 11:41 am

Larry – the fact that you can extract “extreme rhetoric”, “crazed comments”, and “unhinged” from Mr Trumps comments tells me that you are a part of the “politically correct” crowd. Please!

  • Tony Whitehead August 12, 2016, 9:07 am

Trump was referring to the NRA voting block. Remember the elections of 1994? The NRA and gun owners turned out in mass and changed both houses of congress because of some bad gun control measures taken by liberal damnocrats.

  • Jay August 12, 2016, 9:01 am

Liberal wordology 101. A liberalist says”You don’t need a parachute to sky dive out of an airplane” The statement is true however any self motivated person who can think for themselve,s knows full well if you want to be able to sky dive a second time, you better have that parachute on! Liberals count on the dumb being led like sheep to a slaughter and promise them blue sky’s and freebies for all! Our forefathers feared a Democracy as much as the Monarchy and that is why we were founded as a Republic. The governments pushing over the years has made us into a Democratic, Socialist, Republic, with the Republic portion being mostly obscured into the back ground and never mentioned unless you’ve been around for a long time!

  • Don tros August 12, 2016, 8:56 am

The polls showing Trump 10 points behind are rigged. Don’t help propagate the media lies please!

    • Trump 2016 August 12, 2016, 11:14 am

You are correct. The MSM uses fake polling numbers to dispirit those who would vote for Trump .The fake numbers are used to try to lower the donations a candidate on the Right receives and make the Democrat look like the inevitable winner to discourage Conservative voters , This has been done the last 3 Presidential campaigns in force , When the Democrats own the main stream media , Hollywood ,the school system , and social media you can see how any Republican candidate has an almost insurmountable mountain to climb to win . However the answer is simple , Don’t be fooled .Understand what is going on and see thru the lies and dispersions .We must fight for our Country and this cycle Trump is the choice !

  • Michael Lawson August 12, 2016, 8:56 am

Actually, he put a hit out on the judges whom she might appoint, as well, the way I heard it. It isn’t just the left who saw it as a threat. It is anybody with common sense. All you have to do is look at the context of the statement. It was irresponsible, and dangerous and this man is mentally unbalanced, as he continues to demonstrate. It is too dangerous to put someone like this in the White House. He might launch nukes over an insult. Yes, he is that crazy. I can understand not voting for Hillary, but you need to be able to tolerate her for 4 years while we get a more well balanced and viable candidate.

    • William Hackney August 12, 2016, 9:31 am

With Hillary’s extremely poor physical and mental health, it is unlikely she would last 4 years in the White House. She might not hold together until the election this November. Sadly the mainstream media will not report or comment on what is obvious for all to see.

    • Monica August 12, 2016, 10:01 am

      I totally agree.

  • Digger August 12, 2016, 8:51 am

I carry and I\’m all for our 2nd amendment rights and I\’m certainly NOT a Republican. And regardless of what SANE people think, there are always the INSANE that can construe what Trump said to indicate a hit on Clinton. Remember, Senator Gabby Giffords of Arizona was shot at her campaign rally by a 2nd amendment advocate. Only the stupid people (and that can\’t be fixed) will fail to recognize the possibility of such an irresponsible comment by that whacko!

  • Michael Willis August 12, 2016, 8:39 am

I’m far more concerned about a real assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life. The Clintons have taken hundreds of millions of dollars from foreign governments and corporations with the expectation the latter will receive special favors and treatment with a Hillary Clinton win. A Trump presidency is seen as a real threat to the Clinton influence peddling rackets not to mention all the corruption at the Congressional level.

  • John Payne August 12, 2016, 8:38 am

i just wonder if Donald really knows how expensive bullets are. I mean you can’t just go shooting people like that. Hell a bullet is at least $1.50 or some even $1.75 for Christ’s sake. You can’t just go waste an expensive bullet like that. What is he thinking??

  • Dale Francis August 12, 2016, 8:34 am

It is how peoples twisted minds take it.There was no threat.

    • Dusterman August 12, 2016, 9:21 am

Dale, I agree with you I was watching it on the tube when the statement was made. I took it as a request for those who are weapons holders and or Second Amendment supporters; to unite and vote for the”Trump Train”!

      • Gunny August 12, 2016, 11:58 am

Of course it was , The medias narrative started with Hillary calling Trump a loose cannon , What they do is build on this narrative , This is not amateur hour ,Hillary has her propagandist working around the clock and those propagandist include ,the main stream media , Hollywood , the school system ,social media , certain search engines , illegals in our Country . George Soros , BLM (who is a branch of the Democratic party) just to name a few ,

  • Steve Cabula August 12, 2016, 8:30 am

It is pure ignorance to twist words and insinuate that Donald said he wanted Hillary shot dead. But that’s what the leftist do. Among other things, like lie, and cheat, make up stories. That’s why we can’t hand over the keys to the country to the left, namely Clinton. We don’t all vote for Trump, just against Hillary. The Supreme Court nominees are more important than the president. And we can’t let a felonious person select them.

  • TailGator August 12, 2016, 8:29 am

I am no fan of Hillary Clinton, but I heard the comment when it was broadcast live, and my immediate reaction was “Holy [self-edited] – did he just approve a political assassination?” If others genuinely took it otherwise, I can admit that it was vague, perhaps purposely. But if I, a vehement supporter of 2A rights, took it that way, we need to admit that it was at least possible for a certain undetermined number of people to take it that way, without tagging them with assumptions about their politics or intelligence. With my apologies to Trump fans, I have listened to Trump for several months, looking for an alternative to another Clinton presidency, and I still don’t know what he believes in other than himself.

    • Robert August 12, 2016, 9:02 am

No doubt the man has a tremendous amount of self confidence. For him to have achieved everything he has in his life it would take someone with that trait. Now other than filling her and her husband’s pockets with graft and corruption what has Hillary really accomplished in her life? Look at her videos and see how many positions she has on the same topic over the past 30 years. Plus her getting away with the email nonsense that any other government employee would have served time over. What does she believe in? It’s all about Hillary and her belief that the office is hers and to screw over the Americans even more than Obama has – which would be an Olympic feat but if anyone can do it, it’s her. She’s the most dangerous American alive today. Follow the trail of the dead people that seem to accompany her in all of her pursuits.

    • Mac August 12, 2016, 10:45 am

Well, I look at this by asking myself “What does he stand to lose by getting elected?” In Donald’s case, he loses his freedom that he has taken for granted for the bulk of his life, even though he travels with personal security guards, it will be nothing like having Secret service with you every step of the way now and pretty much forever if he wins. Hillary is so used to living on the American Publics wallet. She , like so many that do this same thing like Nancy Pelosi, will milk the opportunity to milk the cow dry, even after her term is up, just because she can. 2 household incomes like Bill and Hillary would have as retired Presidents, with the Libraries, personal offices and expenses covered by the taxpayers, etc. will be just another day on the books of the US Government. The Democrats position on the things that are flat out lies, and they continue to tell the same ones, and justify them with the same thought process, is like “That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!”. They don’t give a crap whether it has been proven without a shadow of a doubt that you are guilty, or that you did something, they just stick to their original story, and that insults the American people. Frankly, Trump may not be the best person in the Republican party, but the “People” have shown their dis-satisfaction of how the government is being run today and are in favor of a total change, even though they may have a bit of arrogance or might have a lot of self confidence, if they surround themselves by successful business and government leaders (there are still a few out there) I am willing to take my chances with that option. I just wish Trump would quit giving the Dems so much ammo, even though it is mostly blanks, because it just takes the spot light off of their incompetent leaders who are like small children losing a game, and they cry and whine about everything, talk over others to argue their point, and in general, are just bottom feeders like the Clintons. I only hope that Trump gets elected and then we can sit back and see what a real Attorney General will do with the Clinton Foundation and the FBI can untie its hands and not be made to look like fools.

  • William A. Mullies August 12, 2016, 8:08 am

The last line of his veiled threat was, “That will be a horrible day.” Meaning assassination of Clinton and/or justices she picks (nominates). His apologists say he meant a big voter turnout of 2A supporters in November to defeat her.. How could that be “…a horrible day” for this sick bastard ??? !!!

Clearly unfit for any office, period !

    • RetNavet August 12, 2016, 8:36 am

What’s really “sick” is our country full of intellectually dishonest and/or really stupid assholes like you Billy Mullies. The trail of deceit, corruption, theft, lies, incompetence and yes even deaths, that the Clintons have behind the m is so obvious that Stevie Wonder could see it. What is really “sick” is a hump like you Billy who would rather allow all of that to continue as Hillabeast has clearly indicated is her intention, than to take a chance on someone actually making an attempt to break up the corruption of the ruling class in Washington D.C…..what Trump meant by “a sick day” is the day the Hillabeast appoints enough libtard S.C. justices to abolish the 2nd Amendment by way of executive action. I doubt seriously that you are not able to see the truth in what I have pointed out for you…you simply refuse to acknowledge any and all truths that are in opposition to your libtard agenda.

      • Gunny August 12, 2016, 12:02 pm

        Amen RetNavet

      • Damon August 13, 2016, 11:58 am

The 2nd Amendment can’t be repealed by “executive action”. Throwing around “libtard” and “really stupid assholes like you” shows the weakness of your argument. You support Donald Trump enough that you’re willing to insult total strangers because they hold a differing view? Why are you translating (“What Trump meant by a “sick day” . . . “) for a guy that “says what he means”?
You’re an apologist, RetNavet, and you’re frightened and lashing out. This is common behavior for those experiencing cognitive dissonance. Donald Trump doesn’t care anything about you, or anything for this country. He has never cared about ANYTHING but Donald Trump. Down in your heart, you know these things are true. Yet you speak as if there are none but these two choices for POTUS, which is a self-defeating mindset.
This individual, this silver-spoon-fed billionaire born into priveledge you can’t even imagine, who has squandered and pissed away more opportunity than you will ever experience, just made a call for the assassination of a political rival, a candidate for POTUS, in a democratic republic. Not only that, he called for such an action to happen AFTER she was elected POTUS (“by the way, if she gets to pick her judges”). And somehow you feel it necessary that you should apologize for him and attack and assault people who find such an action despicable in every sense of the word. Examine your life, friend.

    • LittleDutchBoy August 12, 2016, 11:49 am

At least half of the comments here have been written by the folks responsible for where we are today, including the person or persons who wrote the headline. We have a majority IGNORANT electorate that is too stupid to do anything about it’s ignorance, and they have been voting in the worst rabble for the past 50 – 75 years. When we elect Trump we will be sending a long overdue message to the RINO’s as well as the commies, otherwise known as the Democrat party, that we are in charge. I only hope from my lips to God’s ear. LDB

      • Chief August 12, 2016, 12:05 pm

You are correct . I just hope and pray people are donating to Trumps campaign as well . I do every month because I am tired of what goes on in this Country and I am putting my money where my mouth is .

    • Erik August 12, 2016, 12:31 pm

It is clearly apparent to thinking individuals that you are a simple minded follower. You actually believes your own skewed unoriginal thoughts and you’re just another blinded soul who worships the media and whatever they spin. I know it’s difficult, but step back for a moment look at things objectively instead of ONLY seeking to find support for your neurotic beliefs instilled in via left wing rhetoric. Doing this, Bill, may help free and unchain you as a follower thus allowing you to begin exploring original thinking. Donald is not suggesting murder. Are not able to assess character? Also, took a hard look at what RetNavet has written below. And Wikileaks chief Julian Assange mentioned on Tuesday a staffer for the Democratic National Committee was “gunned” down, shot in the back, murdered just a few weeks ago in Washington. His name was Seth Rich, a DNC staffer.
Wikileaks sources take huge risks to deliver damning information. Do you think this was just a random murder? One thing is certain, he’s very dead. No information available; no more coverage from the Media.

Stay abreast of the latest developments

  • Rob August 12, 2016, 7:57 am

When Donald Trump made the statement about the ‘Second Amendment People’ doing something, I knew he was telling ‘The People’ to get out and VOTE for someone that supports the Second Amendment. The statement he made was nothing to do with violence. I am so disappointed with our news stations that more wasn’t said about Donald Trump really said for us to go out and VOTE against a dishonest politician, Hillary Clinton. When I listen to the news now and they say anything about the Hilary campaign being the next topic, I start looking for re-runs of ‘Bonanza’ which is more factual than what comes out of her mouth.

  • CountryBoy August 12, 2016, 7:56 am

I guess that Hillary forgot about HER 2008 assassination comments when she was asked to drop out of the race after being so far behind Obama….

“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t understand it.”

Hillary’s statement seem FAR More Threatening than Trumps did….

    • Larry Leach August 12, 2016, 9:37 am

Hillary seems to have a “pass” to say and do whatever she wants while Trump cannot without being called out on It. Pretty sure the clinton’s have had people killed. Too many people connected with them have died in accidents.

  • Bennett Schreiber August 12, 2016, 7:50 am

Clinton and her Rich cronies are manipulating the statement. Only people with that thought in mind would bring up Trumps statement as a threat. Its’ politics again. 2nd amendment people can prevent a modified or voided 2nd amendment by voting for anyone but Hillary. They embrace Iran, take Monies from Saudis who treat women 3rd class while the Janus lipped Hillary preaches that she is for the poor subservient women here in the USA. Give me a break. Trump is just an honest guy who tells it as it is. No polish over his statements. By the way, whatever they are claiming he can do has to get thru the Hose and senate 1st. Plus if you look at his CEO experience, he sets an agenda and his cabinet and hired person/advisers work on legalities and policies. I believe he will work in the White House like he does at Trump Inc. By the way, concerning Bankruptcies in the USA which By the way are Legal, the only way to learn and prosper is by taking risks. As for overseas clothes manufacturing, Trump is just using USA laws voted into law by Clinton. How many divorced men run successful business’s?? If you are a philanderer you should be punished if done in the position of president (IE Bill) I am sure he (Bill cheated on Hillary a million times before office, not our problem, only when he crosses the line and is in office as a servant of the people. Put the good and bad on a scale for both of them and see who is better qualified. Thank you.

  • Dog August 12, 2016, 7:47 am

The second amendment is there for our right to self defense, but also to right the wrongs of an out of control government. The people shouldn’t live in fear of the government, the government should maybe not fear but at least respect the people.

  • Junior August 12, 2016, 7:40 am

If she abolishes the 2nd amendment, she might as well abolish the Declaration of Independence and make the US go back to Great Britain…

    • John August 12, 2016, 9:20 am

If you would refresh your understanding of how your government works, you would of realized the President does not have such powers. A change in the Constitution requires both the States and Congress to convien and a super majority would have to coalesce before a change can be made. You are going off “Half-cocked” and that is what scares me.

  • Mark Bowers August 12, 2016, 7:31 am

Why is everyone, including the media, the left & the right automatically relating violence with a 2A people reference? Is this the same as saying all people of color are criminals, all politicians are crooks & liars, etc.? Personnally I took it as not vote for Hillary or anyone that is not pro 2A, never even tought about turning into a criminal and shooting someone. I assume any assassin willing to assassinate someone does not care whether guns are legal or not.

    • Infidel7.62 August 12, 2016, 7:42 am

Don’t you know to the lefties we are a bunch of kooks who can’t be trusted with a picture of a gun? of course they had no problems when Hillary was behind Obama and she stated why should I drop out, he could be assassinated like Bobby Kennedey before the primary. It is all about double standards with the left, do as we say not as we do we know what is best for you.

  • Gingerbaker August 12, 2016, 7:13 am

“Well, that’s what some on the left are saying ”

That’s what a lot of people on the RIGHT are saying too.

“Former NSA Director: Someone Else Making Trump’s 2nd Amendment Comment Would “Be In The Back Of A Police Wagon”” [http://www.nationalmemo.com/former-nsa-director-someone-else-making-trumps-2nd-amendment-comment-back-police-wagon/]

FFS, how else can you interpret it – how else are “the 2nd amendment people” a response to a S.C. nomination? He just said there is nothing you can do, folks – implying it was too late for voting. Trump is fracking pathological.

As if Clinton could “abolish” the 2nd Amendment! Just how can one measure the stupidity of his fans?!?

    • Dog August 12, 2016, 7:51 am

She’d pack the supreme court with her ideological friends and that’s how it’s done.

    • Jerry Jones August 12, 2016, 7:51 am

I would recommend that Gingerbaker find an educated adult to explain to him how Executive orders work, and how anyone challenging them to a Supreme Court stacked with a majority of Liberal Justices would find themselves kicking rocks ( and throwing them because your right to bear arms will be limited to pea shooters)……if Clinton is elected you can bet on an immediate, and thorough assault on the 2nd Amendment.

  • Jan Tonkin August 12, 2016, 7:06 am

Obviously Mr Trumps comments were taken out of context. Interestingly enough in 2008, Hillary made some questionable comments (during an interview) about Obama. Basically she said that she didn’t want to drop out of primaries before June because a lot could happen….Kennedy was assassinated in June. Hmm. Please go watch “Hillary’s America ” if you want an objective, “eye-opening” look at what the Clintons and the Liberals are doing to our country.

  • SMITTY August 12, 2016, 7:04 am

I don’t see all of Trumps opposition dying all around him. He is intelligent enough to beat them in the business world . On the other hand everyone that opposes the Clintons seems to die under mysterious circumstances. What the fuck is wrong with our media they use to kill for a good story. Well Bonnie and Clyde are right in front of you. The hillbilly Arkansas mafia.

  • Willy Boentgen August 12, 2016, 6:39 am

Trump did NOT call for a “hit” on Hillary.or anything close to it, although he sometimes makes ambiguous comments. Only the Clinton Campaign made such an assertion.

  • Zack Ward August 12, 2016, 6:34 am

Okay, this brings up a lot of issues all around. I am not in the military, but I have the honor of working with a lot of Wounded Warriors, Marines, Delta and Navy Seals. My brother is in the Navy training the Navy Seals, so I appreciate and love them. Now if I wanted the right person for the job, I would hire someone who spent their life doing that job because they would be the best at it. Sadly, in recent times, the job of “Politician” has become an insult. In the beginning of our country, a “Politician” was the person who could solve problems, reduce collateral damage, minimize risk to the tax payers and citizens and create a better option for all involved. We all know the feeling when we’ve “outwitted stupid” and made a Win-Win situation. So my ideal politician can do that. This is NOT an ideal situation. To be honest, I am not Democrat or Republican by family. My thought process is Socratic methodology: find the best solution while ignoring ego and fear. I live in CA and think the gun laws are ridiculous and border on communist! And yes, I do like Kale. However, I also believe that a man, ANY man, is responsible for his words and actions. If I mess up, I admit it, apologize and try to get smarter. I never defend a dead or stupid position. Because I know that one day I will die and my goal is to do the most GOOD I can before that happens. No good decision was made out of fear or anger. That’s a historical fact. George Washington saved this country. He could have turned us into a military dictatorship but CHOSE democracy. After what he fought through, in those times, no medicine, all the pain, he chose a democracy. We are our country, we decide our government. It IS a blessing and a responsibility. So every mans words and actions are the length of him and judge him so. No excuses in life, just responsibilities and the honor of being American. I want the smartest politician possible and then I want this country to be involved to CONTROL that politician. We have more immediate power than ever before in the history of the world. What if the election was just the beginning and we could affect life with REAL contributions, become a real REPUBLIC, the one dreamed of by Plato from ancient Greece that created Democracy in the first place?! Screw the electoral college, all the lobbyists and their side deals: what if WE governed from our own houses?! We ARE more then the sum of our parts. We ARE GREAT! We CAN create the world we dream of and we are DAMN lucky to be able to. Thank you for reading. I hope I did not offend anyone, I just wanted to open up a conversation for action. No matter how you vote, I will support our country every chance I get in every way I can, so any advice appreciated as the goal is to become better before I die. Take Care.

    • medic22003 August 12, 2016, 7:53 am

I agree with you on several of your points but I have to disagree about a democracy. That’s a lot of the problem we have now as far as the mentality of the populous. “Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.” They say Ben Franklin said that and hes right. We are a Republic for a reason. Democracy in its purist form is a bad idea. Our republic has been taken over by criminals and in that I agree with you. So what we have is a potential for democracy and when I see how truly stupid and oblivious many voters are and watch how so many of our young people have been pretty much converted to socialism, I say good thing we aren’t a democracy. I know this was why we have the electoral college. On the other hand that stop gap between the mouth breathers and an Idiocracy has been taken over by very evil and corrupt people. Goes back to the idea that some day it may take some well armed lambs to get our country back. Our children have been being taught for so long that we live in a democracy. I see news anchors and pundits saying it. We ain’t a democracy and we should be shouting that as loud as we can. We have to wake people up

  • Randy F August 12, 2016, 6:33 am

What I resent most about this is Hillary, the media (CNN especially) and all the left wingers complaining about this being a hit is their view of 2A people. According to their reactions, they look at us as being a bunch of violent assassins and not citizens who would exercize their right to protest with legal political action as we have available through groups such as the NRA. All Trump was doing was asking us to use that clout to try and oppose Hillary’s agenda – he said nothing about violence or assassination. That was Hillary & Co.’s words, not Trumps.

What does that say about their opinions and views of all 2A supporters?

    • BigC August 12, 2016, 7:32 am

We ALL know it’s the Democraps who are the assassins and they’ve proven it several times over the past couple of weeks!!!!!

    • MBK August 12, 2016, 10:06 am

      Thank you. Well said.

  • Beavis August 12, 2016, 6:29 am

If I may pagiarize a dictionary..
    Mook
(noun) 1: A male adolescent or young adult exhibiting an unpleasant, self-centered attitude, formed during a sheltered upbringing. 2: One who revels in their own ignorance.

    Just saying

    • BigC August 12, 2016, 7:35 am

Despite the appearance, Hellary is NOT a “male adolescent” but these descriptions fit “her” perfectly!

  • sudon't August 12, 2016, 5:55 am

It’s pretty clear what Trump meant, and clearly he was joking. Thing is though, we expect a presidential candidate to show a little more restraint, a little more taste, when speaking publicly. Particularly in this country, where we know there are those who would take the hint. How would that make us responsible gun owners look, to have something like that attached to our cause?
I think it’s a big mistake to elect someone like Trump based on this one issue, especially when you consider that there’s little Hillary would be able to do about gun control. After all, we have the Second Amendment, which the Supreme Court recently set the precedent that it protects personal ownership. Gun control advocates have had little success trying to pass legislation. We’re in better shape than ever before on this issue. I know this goes against NRA orthodoxy, but consider that it is in the NRA’s interest to gin up fear.
I can’t see voting for Trump, and neither can many responsible Republicans. This guy is just way too off the wall to be put in that position. We always find ourselves in this position, each election – choose the lesser of two evils. But this election, the differences are much more serious than usual.

    • Rob August 12, 2016, 8:38 am

Its pretty scary to think that some ‘People’ can be that naive to say that a President, along with the media, can’t steer a young inexperienced uninformed citizen to vote for the best used car salesperson. Please don’t vote for the person that says they will give you anything you want for free and you will be happier when you loose some of your freedom. Even Pinocchio figured it out before it was to late. I think its time to cut the strings and vote for Donald Trump. The economy can’t take any more of the direction that we are going, MAKE HISTORY, vote for the HONEST NON POLITICIAN, TRUMP.

    • Mark Are August 12, 2016, 8:50 am

Lets see here some Republicans can’t “tolerate: voting for Trump so by not voting you “tolerate”Hillary for 4 years and just “TOLERATE” the extreme leftist scotus judges she would appoint that would help destroy this Country for decades that cannot be removed ? NO THANK YOU ! She seeks to flood this Country with illegals giving them chain amnesty ,bringing in all of their family members making the rest of the U.S. California to the tune of . That means the whole U.S. will be a single Democratic party and the REPUBLIC IS OVER ! OUR 2A RIGHTS ARE OVER ! SHE WILL BRING IN A MILLION SYRIAN REFUGES WITH ISIS SLEEPERS and we will be France or Germany without anyway to protect ourselves . Perhaps you want to throw rocks Have you read her plans on her website ? I have . And I have listed what she says she will do .Its very simple if Trump goes off the rails one time he will be impeached and Pence will be President .But what I will not “TOLERATE” is losing my Country!

  • Russell August 12, 2016, 5:50 am

Shows how stupid the Liberals think their voters are. Trump is the one who should be worried about a hit. Bill and Hill have a reputation for that.

  • SgtYork August 12, 2016, 5:36 am

The Clinton Mafia will do anything or say anything to downgrade Trump. I take about as much to heart as a drop of water on a plate would cover on anything this Clinton Mafia bunch says. She lies,he lies her VP lies I can’t understand why the lie is so much better than the truth anymore. Hitlery lies then tries to cover that lie with another lie and can’t remember her own last lie so here we go with a new lie. If this is an indicator of how she will govern were in for one hell of a ride. It’s not for me boys I feel it’s the truth or you labeled LIAR and I have zero trust in you or your word.

  • M. WADE TINNIN August 12, 2016, 5:23 am

When I first heard Mr. Trump make that statement, I heard VOTE THESE FOOLS OUT!

  • Dr. Strangelove August 12, 2016, 5:22 am

This is just more of Tromp’s typical, bombastic rhetoric. However, I seriously doubt that our gun rights- or any of our rights, for that matter, will be foremost on his agenda in the remote possibility that he does get elected.

  • Gary August 12, 2016, 4:47 am

That ten percent poll must be the one that called me last week.
    The Prescreening Questions were:
Would you take a few minutes of your time to answer some questions about the upcoming elections? Yes, I would love to.
What is your race? My answer White.
Are you affiliated with a political party? Yes, Republican.
    What is your age? 58.
Next she said, “thank you for your time, BUT we have all the input we require from your Group. Thank you.”
So just how in the hell is this a POLL??
Everyone should remember that it boils down to ONE person voting for everyone in the STATE for the electoral college. Once the votes are counted, this person VOTES for ALL of us. And what is the penality if THEY vote for who ever THEY want instead of who WE voted for? NOTHING!!
DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, LOOK IT UP!! You must have a computer, your reading this. Just Google it folks and see how easy it is to FIX an election in this country!!
So VOTE!! It’s not only your right, it’s your DUTY!!

  • James Green August 12, 2016, 4:31 am

We simply must get all good Conservatives to rally ’round Trump… or our Republic is toast! Obviously he’s not the perfect candidate, but he is saying a lot of things we want to hear. He’s not beholden to anyone, he’s not a professional politician, he speaks his mind, doesn’t try to be politically correct, and he’s a very successful businessman. What could be better?! If we allow evil Hillary to become the Monarch, our gun rights will almost certainly be seriously threatened… possibly completely taken away. And that will mean all out war. And I do mean what I am saying.

  • Zack powell August 12, 2016, 4:31 am

Yeah as far as what get campaign manager said about not insinuating violence; that certainly does sound like the democratic way of being a giant tree hugging pussy who wants free hand outs from the government. A hard days work is becoming a scarce thing in this country. Laziness is at an all time high. All people wanna do is get rich without work I mean for Christ sakes people get paid to blog and make YouTube videos. Get the fuck out of her since when did that become a helpful addition to society? Why work when Hilary will give you everything you need except a rifle to protect yourself when Isis kicks in your front door. Sincerely a pissed off American who hates seeing the country he loves sink deeper into the abyss that itself has created with Obama as president.

  • David R Smith August 12, 2016, 4:10 am

No he didn’t and you media morons should know better than to fan the flames of a fire that never was.

  • Captain O August 12, 2016, 4:10 am

No, Donald wasn’t threatening Hillary. He just wants the law-abiding, gun owning Americans to get off of their collective rumps and vote to preserve America as we know it. Donald knows damned good and well that the decent, law-abiding people of this nation will not be incited to violence without cause. His detractors, and the Left would have you think that we’re all a bunch of raving lunatics. Nothing could be further from the truth. We need to “keep our powder dry” and vote against the creeping Socialist threat that is the American Left!
Don’t let them “divide and conquer” the REAL America. Vote for Donald Trump, keep calm and carry on!

  • Mike August 12, 2016, 3:50 am

He was referring to what you would be able to do if she was in office and appointed judges, and the answer was “nothing folks” Then to suggest that the “2nd Amendment people” could “do something”, that just makes us look bad.

    • Monica August 12, 2016, 10:08 am

Reasonable people can explain his remarks away, but unbalanced Trump followers
could easily see his remarks as a call to action.

  • Marty August 12, 2016, 3:23 am

Only brain dead Donkey Democrats think that Future President Donald Trump put a hit out on scumbag hillary scank clinton. If she is going to die then a military firing squad should kill her for murder & treason/being a traitor like ass clown obama.

  • Tony August 12, 2016, 3:21 am

Trump only says what a lot of us are thinking and too afraid to say.

  • The Truth August 12, 2016, 3:06 am

We have more important things to worry about than this. Frigging Libtards! How Come every time someone is going to testify against something linked to a Clinton, they end up DEAD??????

  • Joe August 12, 2016, 2:51 am

The title of this article is inflamatory and misleading. Sometimes I wonder if this website is aligning with the left. You could have phrased it in a much better way than to try to be sensasionalist. And also, in 2008 Hillary made an even worst comment that suggested that someone should kill Obama and that why she was still hanging after losing the primary against Obama. Please stop allowing the leftie agenda creep on you.

  • Tom Horn August 11, 2016, 10:43 am

When the NRA asks us to, “Stand & Fight,” are they asking us to get in a physical battle?

    • BUURGA August 12, 2016, 3:31 am

Depends on if we are getting shot at, doesn’t it. The NRA’s main weapon is the ballot box.

    • Ron Stidham August 12, 2016, 6:44 am

Really, dude. Its about your rights, fight for your right to keep and bare arms.

      • Tom Horn August 12, 2016, 4:07 pm

Thanks for clearing that up for me, Ron.

  • DRAINO August 11, 2016, 8:27 am

He was obviously talking about how the 2A people would be voting. Because he is not a politician, they take every sentence and take it out of context and twist the words how it suits them. He is NOT a politician!! Think about it folks….Do you want another politician in office???!!! I do NOT!! So again, you “never Trumpers” will be the death of this country if you don’t get out and vote Republican in this presidential election. Seriously. Because he doesn’t fit the “perfect Republican candidate” mold, you want to want to cry and whine and take your toys and stay home on election day. Think of the BIG picture, and get off your high horses….and say good buy to our freedoms, our guns, and our country.

    • Rick b August 12, 2016, 3:37 am

      Draino,
This is 100% correct. It seems the media keeps spinning his “hurtful ” language, while ignoring all evidence against Clinton. She should be indicted. This country is standing at a dangerous crossroad, if you don’t get out and vote Trump your basically voting hilary.

    • Gingerbaker August 12, 2016, 7:16 am

Oh please – the 2nd Amendment has NEVER, in the entire history of this country, been more secure. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

      • Plato August 12, 2016, 11:57 am

        I agree.
It has survived the Bill Clinton presidency and 8 years of Obama.
We have an unprecedented array of weapons to play with and carry concealed. I enjoy this as much as you all do.

Trump: He is the consummate Bulls**t artist, and will turn on his supporters on his next whim. His world is all about himself, and can’t be reigned in. My Republican buddies are seeing this, as well as many high ranking former security officers and others with adequate brain power.
He will bring Democracy to its knees and abolish it altogether if he can, since he doesn’t see why anyone who disagrees with him should have a voice.
There are powerful interests in this country that would profit from that, all you have to look at is who’s spending the money to influence elections. They HAVE to think, “Why should we bother and pay for each one?” No elections means a huge savings for them, no taxes, abolishing all environmental protections, and ultimately control of wages and heightened security. That means, for those that I need to translate that, confiscation of all weapons.
It’s easy to look for simplistic solutions, but how democracy (and our Republic) work is that EACH of us has to become informed, dump bad thinking, identify propaganda and reject it, and not be played as suckers. It’s work, but that’s the price of democracy. The current second grade political landscape is what it is because that is what currently works – and it’s a shame upon America.
        We should be:
Advocating for our best interests for working wages, protecting our environment, keeping our infrastructure up, nurturing our economy, providing for our health, and regulating businesses that need regulating so as not to create destructive abuses. Making sure our government keeps on the path that works for us, the citizens. Protecting the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

How about it? Who’s on board?

      • Chief August 12, 2016, 12:28 pm

The 2A has never been under such vicious attack at anytime in my life . Obama signed the small arms treaty with the U.N. and after he has been at a mad pace to get rid of our AR’s and the like ,Kool-aid ?OH NO!!

        • Plato August 12, 2016, 2:25 pm

          Wrong, Chief.
We all still have our guns, don’t we?
          Here’s some facts for ya:
          http://www.factcheck.org/2012/06/still-no-international-gun-ban-treaty/
          http://www.factcheck.org/2009/12/international-gun-ban-treaty/
-The treaty only regulates international trade.
-The ATT reaffirms national gun rights.
-The treaty supports legitimate gun trade and ownership.
-The Obama administration affirmed Second Amendment rights.
-The treaty doesn’t significantly change U.S. policy. The operative word regarding keeping records in the Treaty is is “encouraged”; not required as in the case of current U.S. law.
-Obama can’t use executive action to change the Constitution. Ratification requires Senate approval.

Myself, I think that the issue is that it affects arms sales to groups and governments like ISIS and Iran, and our other enemies, and it’s got the gun industry “up in arms” over losing sales to potential terrorists and rogue governments. But why would we like arming our enemies? They shoot our soldiers.

Plato, Gingerbaker, I had to come all the way down to the bottom of this goddamn thread to find the adults in the room. Kudos for not succumbing to fear and for debating in a fact-based fashion. Perhaps some of these others will be inspired by your example.

            Thanks.

  • Martin B August 10, 2016, 6:00 pm

If Hillary really WAS making a statement of her gun policy in this video clip (see: proper use of this term), then she should immediately repudiate all her previous statements on gun control. She has called for the introduction of Australian rules, and wants to stifle the sale of “weapons of war”. So your guns are not safe, therefore your liberty is not safe. She has called for the abolition of the Second Amendment, and plans to use the Supreme court to ensure this happens. I do not often agree with Donald Trump, but he is 100% correct in this instance. Hillary has proved herself to be a liar yet again. And Trump to not say to shoot her. He might have implied it, but he did not say it. The ballot is mightier than the bullet.

    • BUURGA August 12, 2016, 3:32 am

The Supreme Court cannot abolish Amendments.

      • Dog August 12, 2016, 8:04 am

Maybe not but they interpret their meaning and who it applies to which could strip the rights from citizens.

        • Plato August 12, 2016, 11:31 am

The Supreme Court is bound by previous rulings, they can’t just drive off the road like us rednecks do.

      • frank August 12, 2016, 8:39 am

Go try and own a AK or a AR in 7 different states in the USA then rethink cannot Abolish Amendments.

    • Jeff Brand August 12, 2016, 8:02 am

Source(s) for Hillary’s calling for abolition of 2A, please.

  • Christian August 10, 2016, 3:30 am

I do believe what Trump said is still nothing bad, compared to what Hillary said: That the supreme court is wrong about the 2nd amendment. Therefore, in my opinion, she stated that she wants to have more power as a president than the supreme court actually has because she thinks she can overthrow the supreme court all by herself and can give a damn about their decision. Voting for the “democrats” and not for the republicans this year is a step to dictatorship and a step away from democracy.

I think it is the leftist lying press once again. As soon as Trump says something, especially something that can maybe be misinterpreted, they are all jumping on him but if Hillary said something like I’ve mentioned above, the left-controlled mainstream media is not covering it at all.

And by the way, even according to the fact that we all know Trump didn’t meant what he said in a violent way, this is what the 2nd amendment is all about: Defend the nation against a tyrannical government if necessary. So violence is already a part of the 2nd amendment, for a good cause. Remember: “The one who lives by the sword shall die by the sword.”
