‘F*ck the NRA’ Congressional Candidate Calls it Quits, Drops Out of Race

2nd Amendment – R2KBA Current Events This Week
‘F*ck the NRA’ Congressional Candidate Calls it Quits, Drops Out of Race

Pat Davis is calling it quits. This week he suspended his campaign to represent New Mexico’s First Congressional District.

That didn’t take long.

About two weeks ago, congressional candidate Pat Davis made waves by saying, “F*ck the NRA” in a television ad.

Now, the current Albuquerque city councilman is calling it quits. Davis this week suspended his campaign to represent New Mexico’s First Congressional District.

“Taking back our country will take strong progressive voices in every level of government. I’m incredibly proud of the race I’ve run, but if progressives remain divided we’ll all lose to the conservative Democrat out of state Super PACs have picked,” he said on Facebook.

“I’m setting my own race aside to help the most electable progressive win, and that’s Deb Haaland,” he continued.

Hmmm. I wonder what makes Deb more electable than Davis? Could it be that Davis tanked any chance he had of being a viable candidate when he took a potshot at the five million men and women of the National Rifle Association?

There’s no doubt about it. Good riddance Mr. Davis.

(If you have a minute, you can watch Davis make an utter and complete fool of himself defending his decision to run the ad on Tucker Carlson.)

Has Joe Dementia officially said when we have to start calling each other Comrade? I keep wondering when Scotty is going to get the Transporter fixed so I can get the hell off this looney bin

    EAT A DICK PAT DAVIS

  • California Kid June 3, 2018, 12:59 pm

I was born and raised in California. “Born to be wild”, then almost 20 years later “Born in the USA” were popular songs back in their heyday while I grew up, and I liked them also because I spent most of my childhood as a Huck Sawyer/Huckleberry Finn type. Hiking all day, fishing, hunting and outdoor adventures were my reality but not because I chose these things as a sport, but because they were the only means of entertainment and survival that I had as a poor boy growing up without a father. What my family couldn’t or chose not to eat, after spending all day at the river, I sold to other “less fortunate” for penny’s to help feed their hungry mouths because they lacked the time, energy, or the necessary skills and patience to “catch” their own food. This State has become so overly regulated and public land so scarce now, that only “well to do” families can afford to “vacation” here… and THAT is a tragedy, in my opinion. Now that I am semi-retired and can AFFORD to do so, I am looking for a ONE WAY TICKET out of here. I love out mountains, our streams, our beaches and our national parks so I can get away from the rat-race of “civilization”, I am becoming so tired of the evolving culture in this overpopulated, selfish, weak-minded, whining, God, Gun and Baby hating state. Most Californians are kind, hard-working and peace-loving people like myself, but the POLITICIANS, the MEDIA and our COLLEGES have evolved over decades into a cesspool for liberal, socialist, communistic propaganda and I am sick of it… ARIZONA, COLORADO or IDAHO, here I come!!!

    • Mike March 8, 2019, 7:35 am

Sorry Kid, I feel for you being in your position. We left that cesspool over a year ago and are enjoying our new home in North Carolina where worshipping God, loving family and target shooting in your backyard are the norm. Good luck in your search for the better life.

  • Mike Pacheco June 3, 2018, 1:10 am

Where was this looser a cop at he obviously left without retiring he has no clue what a cop thinks. That guy couldn’t make 20 years and probably never made it off probation. And if he did make it more than a year I’m sure it was in admin and never was on the street. What a snow flake.

  • Bobs your uncle June 2, 2018, 10:52 am

And I would say thank God for the NRA. If he was a cop he took his training on a NRA designed range and was likely trained by a NRA certified instructor, like so many other hundreds of thousands.Want to solve gun related problems????? talk to some kid with a camera and a bad attitude or a hollywood actor or some wanna be political………… or you could talk to somebody who actually has a solution…NAH

  • Winston June 1, 2018, 11:38 pm

Only in the dysfunctional US are elected representatives completely hostile to the non-elite 90% of the population.

  • Jim June 1, 2018, 7:18 pm

I think Tucker should have let him keep talking & make more of a fool of himself. I wonder if he has ever fired an AR-15? by the way even if it could fire 150 rounds in 15 seconds, it couldn’t do it by itself !

  • Joel peacock June 1, 2018, 5:30 pm

DRATS are doing nothing on these school shootings
This pat weekend 10 was killed in Chicago

    • Stan June 7, 2018, 10:15 am

@elgavilansegovian o —— You are exactly right. The term “Progressive” is actually short for “Progressive-Socialist Liberal.” Remember what Lenin said: “The goal of Socialism is Communism.”
The two ideologies are kissing cousins.

  • Zupglick June 1, 2018, 1:40 pm

I have the same respect for the man that he has for me.

  • Mario June 1, 2018, 11:59 am

Loved the interview! Tucker owned his ass!

  • Ronnie U June 1, 2018, 8:14 am

There is a guy in Florida running for Governor named Chris King ( DEMOCRAT) that says the first thing he will do if elected is go after the N.R.A. and ban all Assault rifles and large capacity magazines.
Do none of these idiots understand the N.R.A. is “NOT” a terrorist group but it “IS” the oldest civil rights organization in America.
The N.R.A. protects ALL AMERICANS CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS not a hand picked few.(((ALL)))

  • Marcelino June 1, 2018, 8:11 am

Now what’s interesting here is that folks that voted for him; would have no problem having their children hear or read the vulgar language this idiot uses.

  • David Brantley June 1, 2018, 7:09 am

Just another nematodic panderer. Applies to the majority of politicians from local to national office. Coprophages all.

    • G.O.A. Patriot June 1, 2018, 8:26 am

Thanks for the learning experience David! Had to get my old dictionary out and look up nematode to find out it was a parasitical worm but I couldn’t find coprophages listed in it though. New english word?

      • Rangemaster11B June 1, 2018, 10:54 am

        Definition of coprophagous
        : feeding on dung

      • Rex Clark June 1, 2018, 11:07 am

“coprophage” literally means “shit eater”, G.O.A. 🙂

  • George Hall June 1, 2018, 6:39 am

This guy is young and dumb and knows NO history!
It/s sorry that this so-called politician is not intelligent and don’t deserved a political position!
Their is a lot of political rep’s that don’t understand, this country was based on protecting everyone, our military has giving up
their lives for this country and no other country will try to take this away because every American is “Armed”!

    • Chris June 1, 2018, 9:26 am

Everyone is armed, except in communist MD where the politicians stomp on the right to bare arms and especially the right to carry.

      • Big Ed June 1, 2018, 11:14 am

Thank God I can “bare” my arms today! It’s gonna be hot out. I also am thankful for my God given right to bear my guns.

      • Altoids June 1, 2018, 11:24 am

California, New York and Massachusetts run a close second.
I used to live in Delaware, right next door to Maryland. Saw the writing on the wall back in the mid 70s when “ban the handgun” was all the rage. The Delaware state legislature almost did it. Left for a free state and never went back.

  • Gary Ramey June 1, 2018, 5:45 am

With a vocabulary and mental capability like that, he is best left at home.

  • KurtW June 1, 2018, 4:58 am

    He obviously misspoke.

He MEANT to say: “Taking over this country will take strong progressive voices…..”

I’m sure he meant to be honest and say that, but he got flustered, being out of his Safe Space too soon.

    • BR549 June 1, 2018, 6:07 am

Not untypical of a liberal, rather than actually accept any responsibility for having been stupid enough to fall for the Left’s marxist ideology, he just assumes that the problem is because “progressives remain divided”.

Sorry Pat, you’re having to drop out of the race is because there were far more sensible people in the voting population who knew not to bet on a losing horse; that would be you.

  • GMan June 1, 2018, 4:01 am

Gun grabbing as a political platform is a loser. Keep it up Evil Party.

  • Gunner15 June 1, 2018, 3:49 am

F*ck Pat Davis!!! Won’t even give him the respect of calling him Mr. Davis….5 million strong!

    NRA Golden Eagle

  • Darryl June 1, 2018, 3:36 am

“Taking back our country will take strong progressive voices in every level of government”. beside’s this guy and others like him wanting to take all our guns, people need to read up and look at the history what a PROGRESSIVE is and what they really want our country to be. their as bad or worse then the commies and democRATS who want no less then to destroy our great country and no matter how you may feel about our President Trump we would be in very bad shape right now if he had not won. we have to just hope we can find someone who loves this country for the way the founding fathers set it up after Presidents 2nd term. PROGRESSIVES have been pushing their load of scat since the 30’s and 40’s so they are nothing new it’s just they’ve stayed out of the light but not anymore. if you have PROGRESSIVE Ins. drop it if you love this country because all the money they make goes to their cause.

I hope a good guy with a gun is seconds away when he needs them, and he or she is an NRA member. Then he’ll have to thank them.

    • Peter Brown June 1, 2018, 12:43 pm

Am not micro picking your post but I don’t feel that the run of the mill liberal will thank any Pro 2nd Amendment person for anything….ingrates.
