Female Victim Shoots Accused Stalker with Shotgun

An Alabama woman shot an accused stalker Saturday night after the man showed up at her house and threatened her, local media reports.

Horace Johnson and his victim have a history. Back in April, the 55-year-old was indicted by a grand jury for attempting to burn down the 41-year-old female victim’s home. He was also charged with stalking.

On Saturday night, Johnson began calling the victim. He then decided to go to her home. He admitted to police that he was “bothering her” and that he “shouldn’t have went over to her house. He just wanted to hear her voice.”

When he arrived, he began yelling for her to come outside. She obliged. But she wasn’t unarmed. She was holding a shotgun. After Johnson said that he was going to kill her, the victim fired the gun. She hit Johnson twice.

Wounded, and perhaps fearing for his life, Johnson fled the scene in his vehicle. He called 911 and reported the incident. He was treated for his gunshot wounds at a nearby hospital.

After being treated, he was arrested and charged with third-degree domestic violence harassment. His bond was set at $1,000.

$1000 bond is a JOKE! The judge seems to have a decimal problem, and left out two zeroes.

the judge that set a $1,000 bond is incompetent. this piece of _hit will be back after her before the sun goes down. I hope the woman gets her hands on some OO buckshot rounds and shoots him again–please aim for “center mass.”

Repeated criminal activity and only a $1000 Bond! Maybe the shots hit from the waist down and will slow down his “drive” and mobility.
