It is possible to make .22LR achieve the required velocity to push a .22 caliber DU cored projectile fast enough to punch a hole through one piece of 1/4 in steel but not the second or third plate in the video.
I know how to do it but I’m not telling, but here’s a hint: not all propellants are created equal, and the propellants I use for my AP ordinance would have blown that little .22 Cricket rifle to pieces.

Lol…. Some liberal pol is going to try and ban this tomorrow. Quick! send this vid to Kevin de Leon. I can only imagine ol’ ghost guns sound bites about this stuff

I’m not buying it, I think it’s a hoax or an April Fools joke. Why?
Depleted uranium ammo works because it’s molecular density when properly formed and fired at sufficient velocities provides a level of kinetic energy that overcomes the molecular structure of its target. It’s a function of density, weight and velocity.
I don’t believe this round has any of those three necessary qualities or characteristics. It surely doesn’t have the mass (weight), no .22LR casing contains enough propellant to achieve the needed velocity and lastly, the technology, manufacturing capability and expense of forming depleted uranium is likely far beyond the means of this guy who makes videos.
Additionally, hand loading rim fire .22 LR ammo is a difficult process and all else not withstanding, the little crickets ability to withstand the chamber pressures necessary to generate the needed velocity is questionable.
I smell a hoax and I’m calling BS on this one.

I have seen some of his other videos as well as news pictures of Russian civilians carrying full auto weapons and Bulgarians buying new full auto weapons for civilian ownership legally. Too bad in the Slave State of American we are banned from the freedom of owning brand new modern full auto weapons. The truth is shocking but its true.

    • KK April 6, 2015, 10:25 pm

well they don’t have an very violent, entitled “subculture” used as a tool to instill fear into the populace thus allowing them to slowly chip away at our constitutional rights ….

    • Rodney Clem April 12, 2015, 11:40 pm

Fully automatic weapons are ours to own, provided we: Have the funds for the tax stamp/FFL status, have the funds to buy a fully automatic weapon, and lastly, have the patience to wait for the government to approve the request…

Bumpfire works well enough as long as you keep the butt of the rifle against your shoulder. But, that is not the point. We used to have freedom and the right to keep and bear arms like cannons and anything else we wanted to. But because of some people using them in crime we were told to be safe we must give up our rights and our arms. B.S.! We need to get back our rights. It would probably take secession by the freedom loving states to get our rights back but at least that is an option.

    • Rosen Otter April 17, 2016, 3:42 pm

Er, you do realize he’s not really Russian, and that the shows are filmed in the US?

  • Robert April 6, 2015, 7:38 pm

I’d have been more impressed if camera hadn’t cut to a close up of the plate and actually shown the hit from behind the shooter. Then go and do the close ups. Until then, I say, B.S.

  • Robert April 6, 2015, 5:52 pm

I think I will load my own if I can find the primers!!!

  • Ron April 6, 2015, 4:55 pm

How do you say “BULLSHIT” in Russian???

  • Doc Loch April 6, 2015, 3:07 pm

Hey, where’d he get 22 LR. I did notice he only had one. They must me limiting purchase amounts of the “depleted uranium” ones as well. Guess I’ll have to wait on that as well.

  • DJ April 6, 2015, 2:26 pm

It’s on the internet, it has to be true. They wouldn’t let it on the internet if it wasn’t true.

  • sc April 6, 2015, 2:22 pm

Hey Lui, didn’t you ever watch men in black? The little gun packs the most punch!

  • Christopher April 6, 2015, 2:08 pm

Nice try but no such bullet exists. Nice April FOOLS joke though.

  • jon dough April 6, 2015, 1:45 pm

  • kk April 6, 2015, 9:37 am

  • tom April 6, 2015, 9:02 am

    Horseshedsky

    • Lui April 6, 2015, 11:51 am

I agree, for one I don’t think that little gun would handle that much firepower and secondly he said 22 lr, not magnum, so you couldnt stuff enough powder into the little 22 lr shell for that much power. Also he cuts away from the complete view to a close up so you never actually see him shoot the plates with that little rifle.

  • Mick Dodge April 6, 2015, 8:04 am

I’m a gonna get me a box of those bullets and go Kodiak bear hunting with my AR 7…YOU BETCHA ….

  • Steve K April 6, 2015, 6:32 am
