Why Gun Control Laws Are Dumb

2nd Amendment – R2KBA Authors S.H. Blannelberry This Week

Where do these stupid American Gun Control Laws come from? Why do they exist? In this video by GunsAmerica and Funker Tactical, retired USMC Infantry Unit Leader sheds light on the differences between a highly restricted firearm and a 50-state legal one.

A video everyone needs to watch from the anti-gun lobby to the 2A supporter as it uses logic and statistical information to demystify the “evil scary rifle” and provide both a historical and modern perspective on guns in America.

I see the word liberal tossed around a lot on gun web sites. I think that many of the users of these sites use the term incorrectly or as code for all that is wrong with our society. A liberal is simply a person with an open mind, someone willing to look at and weigh the merits other points of view. Liberal wrote our constitution, including the second amendment. I live in California and I own guns: several guns. I like them; I go to the range and shoot them with my son. It’s good male bonding. I like to go hunting, good fun and very traditional.
I am statistician and you can’t beat the numbers, ask Vegas. More guns equal more shootings. We can all pray, that only good, or more of the good guys have gun but it doesn’t work that way. The bad guys just steal our guns. Or the chemistry in some nice guy’s brain takes a bad turn and he decides to shoot up some innocent children or movie goers. I lived a county where hand guns were illegal for a couple years. And yes only the police and mafia had hand guns and I was safer. No one was going to shoot up my kid’s school or stroll into the mall and open fire randomly on the shopper.
I don’t see how we can ever return to an America where guns are a less polarizing issue. The NRA feels duty bound to fight all gun regulation. And it not for us shooters it’s for the manufactures and their bottom line. We can pretend that there is no such thing as an assault rifle, but all shooter can remember when gun magazine and shops called them just that. I think we need to hear from more liberal who own guns, and to my knowledge there are quite a few out amongst us. We need shooters who are open to the whole story.

It’s funny how Lib’s can’t read the ”Fine Print” on the Constitution. I collect WW2 Rifles and It’s a shame That what they do Breaks our 2nd Amendment Rights.

    A real Liberal conundrum:

“Gun control defined: The theory that Criminals who are willing to ignore laws against rape, torture, kidnapping, theft, and murder will somehow obey a law which prohibits them from owning a firearm.”

A conundrum….that which does not compute?

      Plain and simple, factual statement.
Yet can’t be understood by those following the ones that wish to control us.

Lib/Prog-socialists use any medium that they can easily convince the weak and simple minded,
that they know will never critically analyze in fullness any questionable concept.
Things like OUR Founding documents and Wise Founders are as foolish to them as that old outdated book the Bible,
and the Fed. Ed. format works to dumb it down more every generation ~!

ONLY LIBT ARDS USE THE SICK ANTI-LOGIC THAT THE LIBERAL VOTER BASE (CRIMINALS) WHO IGNORE LAWS AGAINST RAPE, TORTURE, KIDNAPPING, THEFT, AND MURDER WILL SOMEHOW MAGICALLY OBEY A LAW WHICH PROHIBITS THEM FROM OWNING A FIREARM.

The problem isn’t the looks, it’s the concealment. Small firearms are easily concealed & can put out a lot of destruction in close quarters like schools, synagogues, mosques, church bldgs. etc. But then, so can a semi-auto, sawed-off shotgun. Besides that, small firearms have shorty hang ups. Really, they’re very sensitive about their size in comparison to the big boys & girls. I’ve seen them slap the silly putty out of folks just for calling them little. I’m quite serious. They’re nastier than pit baboons….

Glad to see you practiced proper range safety by not letting that evil rifle sneak up behind you. LMFAO! Great video and great points made. My own wife of 33 years is one of those people that sees no reason to own an AR. Oh, she has 2 pistols for protection and shoots well, even bought me a new deer rifle as a surprise gift. I quit trying to change her mind long ago. I love my AR, we just don’t discuss it anymore.

laws are for the dumb, simply because it’s ignorance of how the regulation comes about in the first place. Given government (necessary) is highly inefficient and grossly abusive of power only the ignorant would believe any regulation is intelligent.

Regulation is incarceration of freedom, who ends up incarcerated?

Freedom is a package deal, particular bents can’t be fought for while letting other facets go, it must be defended entirely. People can’t fight for the second and not defend the most innocent among us, the unborn just to name the 55 million straws that will not go in secret if history has anything to say about it. A like price will be collected, most likely on the third and fourth generations.

Things getting worse? It’s inevitable unless the heart of this great nation changes and I don’t hear even a whisper that it is. In fact we embrace the idea of voting for lessor evils instead of doing what’s right and then are amazed these lessor evils enact dumb gun laws.

Just a guy who’s payed attention to where we’ve been and where we’re headed.

@ Andy The First Rifle would, but the second rifle would not need any Komifornia bullet buttons/ requirements. No pistol grip / “ZOMG Scary” Features.

In Komifornia we are at the forefront of this very conversation every day. Its a nearly impossible battle, but we have to work towards educating people when it comes to the 2nd and the moronic laws infringing it, I have had this very conversation with people more times than I can count and invited many an Anti-2nd to the range to learn in a safe controlled environment. Some have taken me up on it and several others have come to understand my point of view.
