Scottsdale, Ariz. — Certain candidates for Congress and the presidency have announced plans to act against the ownership, possession and use of arms and ammunition by the public.

Such acts are directly in opposition to centuries of American law, human rights and tradition, and though current “news” media personnel have fallen in line to support (in contrast to report) these developments, the proposals remain fully outside the law and The American Way.

Democrats in particular are campaigning wildly for a chance to get into office specifically so they can extinguish rights Americans have — and have always had — to keep and bear arms. This poses a danger to the nation beyond anything those misguided voters and candidates imagine.

THE AMERICAN PROTECTION OF ARMS DECLARATION

“People in the United States of America want it understood that designating arms, ammunition and related accessories, which are currently legal to make, keep or bear in any state, which may later be declared illegal to make, keep or bear, or encumbered in any way by any means and for any reason, constitutes Second Amendment infringement.

“Such actions are null and void, amount to prima facie violation of the oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, and are grounds for removal from office for failure to faithfully execute the duties of the office.

“Any action or attempt by any person to enforce such infringement on property possessed in our state will be a class four felony for a first offense, and a class three felony for second and subsequent offenses.

“County Sheriffs and law-enforcement agencies in this state will be authorized to enforce this Declaration and to deputize as many residents as may be necessary to enforce this Declaration.”

This Declaration, circulated widely by people who support it, is provided as a courtesy and notice of protected civil rights to candidates, politicians and people working in any capacity in government. It will be introduced as state legislation to authorize peaceful enforcement of those civil rights. Model legislation is in the draft stage and will be circulated soon.

What could be a more blatant infringement on our right to keep and bear arms than to outlaw arms and related gear we already own? This is precisely what King George did to instigate the American Revolution in the 18th century. He used the exact same excuses. These are too dangerous, you shouldn’t have these, these are weapons for soldiers, which you’re not, these allow you to resist us, we’re banning them for you, but not for us…

No degree of legal wrangling, court justifications, developed legal theories, codified opinions, law review articles, so-called popular opinion, telephone polls or other attempts to rationalize away the obvious can negate the fact that outlawing legal property is an abuse of power, plain and simple. The heinous excuse of outlawing property as a response to crime, the global muslim jihad or international threats is among the most corrupt, reprehensible and offensive deceptions. These are intolerable acts.

If guns we have today are declared illegal tomorrow, that by its very nature infringes our right to keep and bear those arms. Such action is banned — and ultimately banned by the very firearms themselves. Do not force us to act.

But America now has a candidate running whose very platform includes going after arms held by the people. And her followers are so poorly educated on the subject they cheer her — and her insanely heavily armed cohorts. The irony is beyond Orwellian. It’s time for the political class to understand that government infringement on these civil rights exceeds delegated power, and the consequences of usurpation are too high to risk. Just so we’re clear: Making legal arms illegal is infringement.

Postscript: Infringements already taken, such as the recent illegal actions in California banning magazines the public already owns (SB1446), or detachable magazine rifles (SB880), or the falsely named New York “SAFE” act, are tolerated by the people up to a point*, but they build furious energy like a steam kettle with no pressure-relief valve.

While the various legal professionals wrangle over lawsuits, dressed up nicely in fine suits, quietly in courts, with proper diplomatic courtesies, appropriate schedules and pretense of due process, they lead inexorably to what King George discovered — there is a point to these intolerable acts beyond which the public will not go.*

Hillary Rodham Clinton and her minions are threatening, nay, promising upon election, to go to that point too far. The bad public media seems not to notice, or are promoting this goal, abandoning any pretense of ethics. The Constitution is clear and its pronouncements are being summarily ignored — at risk to the country’s very fabric and existence. I tell you this as a wake-up call, since broadcast networks, cables and print media are actively suppressing the obvious.

The new media sees it (independent Internet sites, social media and email traffic, against which Rodham-Clinton wants “gatekeepers”), and they have alerted a significant portion of the public. Meanwhile the old media (the “Gray Lady” and her cohorts) ridicules that message. Consider yourselves notified of impending disaster, if the headlong rush to infringe the public’s right to arms — and all the other blatantly unconstitutional abuses — continues on its current path. Don’t shoot me, I’m only The Uninvited Ombudsman — the messenger.

* “… all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security. Such has been the patient sufferance of these colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of government…”  — from The Declaration of Independence of the United States of America

A VERY troublesome scenario exits if HRC ascends to be president elect ……. she’ll be in position to steer SCOTUS radically for generations …… if anyone thinks she doesn’t have delusions of grandeur , be forewarned ; the Federal government was NEVER intended to RULE or lives from cradle to grave ; HER ascension could very MUCH jeopardize what few Constitutionally guaranteed liberties, ESPECIALLY when the loss of those liberties would severely interfere with our free exercise of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness !!! Consider this carefully when choosing OUR NEXT President …….

I am sad to say we are about to see that ELECTIONS DON’T MATTER. The Federal bureaucracy, so call “Independent Agencies”, courts and The Federal Reserve are so dominated by Fascist/Progressives it can’t be stop by political means.

  • Poor Richard's Decendant October 4, 2016, 10:39 am

It has occurred to me that there is an analogy that folks who do not understand firearms might understand:

We must outlaw cameras because some of them are used for child pornography/child sex trafficking

    • Roberthere October 6, 2016, 8:17 pm

I do believe, am convinced, that most political types opposed to firearms ownership also think speech and the Press must be corraled with “Reasonable Regulations”, for everyone’s good of course.
We live in a Brave New World (New World Order for you moderates).

I would really hate to see our country degenerate so far and I would really hate to see any local law enforcement get involved as gun confiscators as I will only give up bullets and not the guns that shoot them. What a stink hole we now live in.

  • Dragginbutt October 1, 2016, 2:15 pm

Folks, do not forget that the next President will be nominating at least one, perhaps up to 3 or 4 new Supreme Court Justices. That could leave us with a very left wing court that could by interpretation, change the second Amendment without passing any legislation. Imagine, A Communist president, congress, and supreme court, and not a shot fired.

    PURE TREASON

  • Patriot September 30, 2016, 9:35 pm

I completely agree with Alan Korwin. If a deranged Hillary and her rotten supporters try to usurp the Constitution and Second Amendment and there is no attempt by government or courts to stop Hillary and supporters, Americans who support the Constitution may have no choice other than forcefully resisting to save the United States.

I am sure there are many countries who support Communists and terrorists that are happy to see a clique of people in the United States who are so radical that they want to mis-interpret the Second Amendment in order to disarm the American people and
make them as defenseless as the people of Russia, Iran, North Korea, etc. so Americans would not be armed and able to defend themselves against a tyrannical government and terrorists.
Several of these radicals, including the network “news”, who are mostly Democrats, are listed below:

The biased network news media fully supports Hillary and radical Democrats. The network news media and Hillary, Billy, and Chelsea supporters, such as Obama, Tim Kaine is Hillary’s selection for Vice President, Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer are rotten gun control politicians from California, Gov. Brown of California, Gov. Brown of Oregon, Gov. Inslee of Washington, Bloomberg is a major gun control radical who contrives with Katy Couric to make the pro gun people seem to be confused and stupid on network news, Soros is a major gun control idiot who is a friend of Hillary and owns Progressive insurance, Sen. Schumer of New York wants to stack the U.S. Supreme Court with gun control Democrat justices that will comply with deranged Hillary, Katie Couric who contrived with Bloomberg to make the network news represent pro gun people as confused and stupid, Attorney General of Massachusetts Maura Healey who dictated that certain common guns are illegal, Sen. Harry Reid of Arizona who, as Democrat Majority Leader of the Senate, refused to hear Republican legislation, Dan Gross who is leader of the gun control Brady Bunch, Rupert Murdoch who is a biased gun control Democrat of FOX NEWS, pseudo-Republican Sen. Susan Collins of Maine says she will not vote for Trump, and so does pseudo-Republican Sen. Lindsay Graham and pseudo-Republican Sen. Mitt Romney, and all have something in common and it is the fact that all are ROTTEN TO THE CORE AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR THE UNITED STATES !!!!

Remember Secretary of State Hillary’s comment about the four Americans killed in anti-American Benghazi –
“LET’S NOT GO BACK TO THAT” !!!! and the following also applies to Secretary of State Hillary’s judgement,
BENGHAZI – WE HAD THE TIME, SHIPS, AND PLANES. WE DID NOT HAVE THE LEADERSHIP !!!!

    • John October 2, 2016, 10:11 pm

Harry Reid from Arizona? How dare you besmirch my beloved state! Other than that, some fine points.

  • Ken September 30, 2016, 5:54 pm

I wonder how many will die wether noticed or unnoticed when the black hats show up to start the confiscations. Will our 2nd Ammendment rights ever again be restored, and at what cost.

  • Warren Peace September 30, 2016, 1:34 pm

The current attempts at reducing our rights as American citizens, including this fallacious gun grab, are truly worrying. Part of the NWO’s agenda is fear – fear of terrorists (largely of their own, CIA/ NSA/ DHS creation), etc. are designed to make us give up our freedom for security.

    Well Fuck That!

We’ve had guns and other weapons for 500 years in this country, and in most people’s hands (sane ones, that is. And WHO defines sane anyway), they are tools and ‘entertainment’, personal protection, and security devices. The reason our forefathers PUT the 2nd Amendment into the Constitution is because they KNEW that greedy, petty, power-crazed perverts would subvert the political process in time, and the ONLY protection we have from tyranny is having the right to keep and bear arms (and we can form a well-regulated militia as well). The ones lying to us about mass shootings like Sandy Hoax (where I worked that day in 2012, and after 4 years of research, I can tell you unequivocally that this was a staged treason), the ones trying to take our guns, these are the real danger. The data doesn’t lie, and while there are a very VERY few accidental shootings (less than 50 by children), the TRUTH is that guns kill a lot less people than cars do, yet we don’t see anyone outlawing planes, do we? In the cost-benefit logic, it makes a hell of a lot more sense to take the Congress away than it does to take our guns away.

Perhaps we are approaching this the wrong way. Perhaps we need to go ahead and start forming local militias, since half of us are out of work anyway. I’d protect my neighbor and his family & property – wouldn’t you?

Anytime you deal with lawyers (just as bad, if not worse than politicians, used-car salesmen, and the like), with legislation, you’re going into a rabbit hole of excrement. The law was designed to allow those with excess wealth to subjugate fairness, truth and justice. When will the sheeple open their eyes, and see the truth? We need to re-boot the system. It has crashed. Fatally. Do we just turn it off and on again, allowing the virus, the malware, the infection called Greed, The Federal Reserve and Wall Street to continue to corrupt the planet? Or do we take the machine apart, inspecting each one for goodness, then re-assemble the working parts, and incinerating those beyond repair? I think we’ve just answered that. So how shall we begin?

    • retrocon October 2, 2016, 11:42 am

Forming the local militias will be suicide, IMHO. Remember, they will instantly categorize you as a terrorist, since terrorism by their definition, has more to do with guns than Islam. And the lame-left will go right along with them, as they quietly take us away.

I think we need a rallying website, phone lists we can create from that, and we only “rally” when ATF comes a knocking. And even then, we do so as a community, not as a “militia,” that they can demonize. An armed community, of course. If 500 of us armed citizens show up and stand behind 20 ATF agents as they are going to one of our homes to take our AR-15s, they will leave. When they happens over and over and over again, with bigger and bigger crowds, we will become unavoidable as a force for change.

  • Sam September 30, 2016, 6:37 am

I’ve had several on the right tell me the Constitution is a sacred document, unchanging and not open to interpretation. I’ve seen these same people clamoring for a Constitutional Convention. The ones on the left are not the only ones sucking up the sound bites. While not to be undertaken lightly, we can and do alter the Constitution with our votes on amendments. Recall. though, that without the first ten amendments, our Bill Of Rights, there would be no Constitution. These were required for ratification. And a called Convention would throw out the Constitution, and write a new one. Presidential edicts do not qualify as amendments, Rule by fiat is not “by the people”.

    • BLANKOVICH September 30, 2016, 11:36 am

You should read Mark Levin\’s book, \”The Liberty Amendments.\” You should also go to http://www.conventionofstates.com and read about the so-called \”run away\” convention. This can\’t happen. It literally cannot happen. If you understand even the rudiments of what Article V says you have know that after 34 State\’s legislatures have voted to ratify any amendment, it the takes 38 States legislatures and a Governor\’s signature to enact an amendment to the Constitution. This is an incredibly hard thing to do. Regarding the 2A, to you really think there aren\’t 13 or 14 State that will refuse to ratify any amendment that waters down or eliminates the 2A? I think that you are either spreading lies because you want Federal gun control, or you simply don\’t know the facts.

    • retrocon September 30, 2016, 6:19 pm

But, even though they have no constitutional authority to do so, the SCOTUS of Hillary will eliminate the second amendment as an individual right. At that point, they will send their BATFE SWAT teams to take your AR-15s.

We have on last chance to “rule by the people.”

    • retrocon September 30, 2016, 6:26 pm

It’s very simple, and i will throw this question to Alan, or anyone else.

If Hillary is elected, she WILL appoint progressives to SCOTUS. They WILL overturn Heller, and declare the Second Amendment to be some collective right of the military. Four SCOTUS justices on the left has said as much, why think the new ones will be different.

After they do that, Hillary by executive order, or with congress, depending on the makeup, will start to confiscate AR-15s. Probably high-cap magazines, as well. Of course, registration first, by collecting the gun store paperwork. Unconstitutional? Not under the new SCOTUS, remember.

Now, when they come to your door, do you give them what they want?

My suggestion is that some person, group, leader in this community, needs to get a website or alert system up. I would if i had the money. We need a notification system. Once true confiscation starts to happen, we need to be alerted to where they are. The community of gun owners needs to also show up, 10:1 over the ATF agents, and armed. We tell them to go away quietly.

But without some pre-thought, we don’t have the communications network, and this won’t happen until a few of us die, fighting for our rights. I would prefer someone to be proactive.

i will sign up day-one i know about it.

    • Tom Horn October 1, 2016, 5:39 pm

      Sam,
We know through historical records what our Forefathers’ intents/interpretations were at the writing of the Constitution. Their intents/interpretations, IS the interpretation. When a Supreme Court Justice interprets the Constitution to suit their political agenda, that is a miscarriage of justice.

  • Tom Horn September 27, 2016, 8:54 pm

I like the heart of, THE AMERICAN PROTECTION OF ARMS DECLARATION, but I am confused by the language, “this state,” and, “our state.” Is this a state by state declaration, or a federal declaration? Is this meant to be an amendment to the Constitution, or a grass roots petition to go on a state’s ballot? Sign me up, anyway.

    • Tom Horn September 27, 2016, 9:35 pm

From: Declaration of Illinois Citizens’ Rights and Intents (2013)

“We the People of the great State of Illinois recognize that the Constitution of the United States of America, and its Bill of Rights, are the very foundation of this great country, of which the power of this great state derives. We further recognize that the 2nd Amendment, as written by our forefathers, is every bit as prudent and necessary today, as it was when it was ratified in 1791, for the very same reasons it was it was made law (the protection of her citizens from threats of harm, both foreign and domestic).

As our forefathers did not limit America’s citizens to antiquated weapons (swords, knives, bows and arrows) in the face of the modern weapons of the times (muskets); so too, we would not be limited to weapons that are substandard and ineffectual in response to those possessed by America’s enemies, both foreign and domestic. Therefore, we find any limitation of ammunition, magazine capacity, and semi-automatic capabilities to be a violation of our 2nd Amendment Rights…”

“…Lastly, know that is our fervent intent to protect all of our Constitutional Rights, and that we will oppose and depose any and all public officials who would trample on our Constitutional Rights, through due political process and exercising the power of our vote.”
