A Bronx man shot his friend on Saturday following a dispute over who would be the focal point of a low-budget rap video, the New York Daily News reports.

“They were fighting over who’s the star, who’s better,” said Ali Abdul, the owner of the deli in which the shooting occurred.

“They were drunk,” Abdul continued. “They spit at each other then one guy pulled out a gun and shot the other guy five times.”

Abdul said the two men were frequent customers and thought they were “best friends.”

Police said the 37-year-old victim was grazed in the head and shot once in the chest and each leg.

After shooting the victim, the suspect — who police believe is around 30 years old and 5-foot-10 tall, weighing between 180 and 210 pounds — then began pistol-whipping the victim in the head.

The victim was transported to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was said to be in critical condition. Officials believe he will survive the shooting.

Where is the BLM protest? An unarmed black man was shot and the crime was captured on video. No discrepency here. All of his “friends” step over his dying body and now taxpayer money is keeping alive in critical condition. Jesse, Al anything to say?
