On the belt. Low profile.

Simple. Cheap. And very handy. Recover Tactical’s clips allow you to carry spare mags on your belt. No pouch required.

They’re also ideal for pocket carry.  Instead of having your mag deep in your pants’ pocket, dangling around, the clip keeps it right at the top.  Sorta like a clip on a pocket knife.

Installation is a breeze.  Takes but a few minutes.  I guess the only question I have about the clip is durability.  How sturdy are the clips?  How long to they last?  Do they hold together?  That’s something that will have to be tested over time.  We’ll get a few in and test em out.

why spend the money on something you really do not need it better to stick with a pouch keeps dirt and other thing from getting into your mag and the pouch is more secure and you can find mag pouches way under $10 I WILL NEVER BUY ANY

Ever had a round pop out of a magazine not in a pouch?
It’s way to friggen easy to pop a round loose.
In my pocket I have had as many as 3 work loose from a P-238 magazine!
They NEED to be properly secured in a magazine pouch!

I have one for my Glock 43 magazine and it works well. I don’t have it for all the magazines, just one.

Neomag! Check them out. This has been out for at least a year I think. It is a great product. They have 3 different sizes small, med, large. Small is basically 22 and 380 and large is mainly 45, the med fits everything else. I have had mine for about a year and love it. Very strong and secure. Best part is it is all metal. I would rather that then a plastic clip….my personal preference. But I think this is a great idea. I hate carrying pouches.

    CLIPAZINE!

Something else to easily break off.

  • Boss January 25, 2018, 10:32 am

if you clip it to your hip, would it be a hip joint…clip? Clip Joint?

  • Charles Valenzuela January 25, 2018, 9:36 am

Maybe okay on the range, otherwise, it looks like the clip would be better on the side than the front of the magazine. The front mounted clip looks like you’ll need to mostly release your firing hand hold to insert and drop the magazine . . . . . Not really something that I would do in the middle of a target engagement. If the clip was on the side, with perhaps a slot under the grip panel to take the clip, you wouldn’t need to change your hold on the weapon. So, sell a matching set of grips with the slots in them.
I would like to see something like this for 30 or 40 round AR magazines. Clip on the side, not on the front or back though.

Not 100% sure what you are referring to but the magazine indexes perfectly with your freehand and allows for speed reloading from your pocket. It could be you are confused because I am left handed in the video?

    • stephen aucoin January 25, 2018, 1:34 pm

the clip is on the rear of the magazine, and goes into the backstrap. not the front of the mag.

  • Al January 25, 2018, 9:12 am

Now, if some of you saw someone else here use the term “clip” for a mag, you would berate the poor sod.

  • Trey January 25, 2018, 8:35 am

That wouldn’t happen to be a 30 caliber clip? I wont use anything that is not a 30 caliber clip with the ability to disperse 30 bullets in half a second. Lol

  • Rickhie January 25, 2018, 8:10 am

Dumbest idea I’ve ever seen, but proves the old saw that there’s a sucker born every minute. What could possibly go wrong, besides the new baseplate being a piece of crap, the clip fouling a fast reload, and carrying a mag on your belt in about the least concealable position possible??

Just because it made its way into SHOT, doesn’t make it a great new idea.

  • Jay January 25, 2018, 6:41 am

I read the title and had to laugh! You do realize you just confused the living hell out of the anti-gun buffoons using clip and magazine in the same sentence!

  • Justin Bradburn January 25, 2018, 4:54 am
