Reloading Showcase: 11mm Mauser

Authors S.H. Blannelberry

From IraqVeteran8888, “Alright guys, we have our first video filmed in the new reloading shop. In this video I feature the process for hand loading 11mm Mauser for the 71 and 71/84 Mauser rifles. This cartridge is also known as the 43 Mauser or 11.15X60 Rimmed. This video covers a lot of individual steps involved in reloading this ammo including bullet casting, sizing and lubing projectiles, as well as specialized steps necessary for reloading lead projectiles. Stay tuned for reviews on the RCBS Production Pot as well as the Lube-A-Matic II featured here.”

Enjoying tour video on reloading the 11 Mm Mauser. was wondering what number top punch you use along with the .446 sizing die with the 340 gr. Lyman mold. Also, when reloading with a RCBS 44-370 fn mold, what top punch would you use and how many grains of sr4759 would you recommend? Thanks, Rex

Great video! I have one of these mausers that I haven’t been able to shoot for several years due to lack of availability of ammo, and didn’t know where to find supplies or who manufactures them. Thanks for the info and easy to follow casting and sizing operations. Rex
