Study Targets Obama “Super Gun Owner” – We Own 50% of the Guns!

Authors Paul Helinski

The Stock and Flow of US Firearms: Results from the 2015 National Firearms Survey (PDF)

A recent study from Harvard University identified a new class of gun owner they are labeling the “Super Owner.” Since 2008, the scare of an Obama gun confiscation has brought millions of Americans into gun ownership. Apparently those of us who own more than 10 guns are new to the empty brains at Harvard, because they are attributing this new class of gun owners to the “Super Owner” class, rather than it being a natural percentage of the firearm enthusiast crown, of which it has always been. The key number was 14% of all gun owners, or 7.6mm adults and 3% of the total U.S. population, possessed 50% of all guns owned by civilians in the country.

If you look prior to 2008, guns per capita was flat. Then it jumped when Obama was elected, and has continued to climb since. Lots of things don't matter to you until it appears that you are going to lose them, so this was a very predictable and expected outcome of a President who insists on blaming the hammers for a house that was built like crap.

Lots of things don’t matter to you until it appears that you are going to lose them, so this was a very predictable and expected outcome of a President who insists on blaming the hammers for a house that was built like crap.

The study, entitled “The Stock and Flow of US Firearms: Results from the 2015 National Firearms Survey”, was conducted by the Harvard School of Public Health and found also that considering a total somewhere north of of 270mm civilian-owned guns in the U.S., that implies that these “Super Owners” possess an average of nearly 18 guns per person. I think it’s kind of low actually lol. BFD right? But beware that you are being identified and targeted for the next wave of whatever is coming.

There is going to be the opposite of the “Obama effect” on gun ownership now that Donald Trump was elected and we have both houses of the U.S. Congress in the Republican camp. By this time next year, nobody is going to be talking about guns or 2nd Amendment rights. But beware, none of those politicians are really on your side, right or left, including The Donald. He was put in to continue the surveilance state, continue reckless money printing, and continue a black hole military budget so that we continue to fund the geoengineering airplanes that flew over your house today and sprayed you with aluminum nanoparticulates and who knows what else. It feels great to keep serial killer Hillary Clinton out of the White House for a second trip, but The Donald is a dealmaker, and you can bet he made a deal to get where he is. We’ll see how that applies to our 2nd Amendment rights. Keep your powder dry and some food under your bed.

If you compete or collect of course you have more than 10 guns. If your a personal defense person maybe you can get by with a personal carry and a home defense weapon. All people have what want to support their life style. I have a friend that has has 30
fishing poles “what Kind of nut has 30 fishing poles!” Well, its the kind of person that enjoys that life style. I met a 65 year old women at a USPSA competition that had 120 guns. She beat me in the competition and in the count.

    Hubris and foolishness!
Brought on by a fervent desire to not believe that they are a minority that doesn’t stand a chance of meeting their goal.

The Harvard School of Public Health and found also that considering a total somewhere north of of 270mm civilian-owned guns in the U.S. is either seriously math challenged or blatantly lying. There were, according to the Brady Bunch, 250,000,000 guns in the US when the Brady Bill was passed, the FBI has done over 200,000,000 NICS checks for purchases since then. Even with Common Core Math that is 450,000,000. Their propaganda is as bogus as their arithmetic.

    GUNS???
Why there are no guns here.
But the ‘droids you are looking for were seen at a farm two fields over three nights ago.
[Maybe it was three fields over two…maybe four nights ago?]

  • MaverickNH November 15, 2016, 6:25 pm

And? How many people can wield and shoot 10+ firearms, should they sudden turn nutcase? So what?

  • Frank November 14, 2016, 12:46 pm

I researched this senator I had never heard of and discovered what he really was and when Obummer won (stole) the 08 election I owned a .22 magnum revolver, a .22 Marlin 60 rifle I taught my kids to shoot with and a 12 gauge pump home defense shot gun. After the election I bought a 48 gun safe and began investing in firearms and now I can’t get another gun to fit into it! I invested in reloading equipment and bought in bulk primers, brass, gun powder and several thousand rounds of live ammo before the ammo shortage. If God forbid my house caught fire, I would run like hell! The boom would be heard two counties away and debris would be falling in a five mile radius!

  • Dr. Billl (MD, JD) November 13, 2016, 5:16 pm

The 2016 election shows how ‘desperate’ people have become to see real change in government. However, electing a man who has always helped himself at the expense of any-everyone else shows a society thinking with another part of its anatomy than the brain. You are soooo right. We must be careful. Russia in the early 1900’s and Germany in 1933 were voting to “make their country great again”. Remember, Hitler was the original law- and- order politician. The fight for constitutional rights lost MUCH more during the 1st Bush term 2000-2004 than in the next 12 years. Without our 4th, 5th, and 1st Amendment rights the 2nd Amendment means much less. We must protect individual freedoms even at the cost of government efficiency. History provides much perspective if only we were able to learn from it. Written with sad sincerity.

    • Tom Horn November 16, 2016, 1:57 am

Well said, but I would point out that the 2nd Amendment is the People’s true power, that protects the Bill of Rights. If Hillary had been elected the 2A would have been in grave danger r/t her Supreme Court nominees. Pres. elects Trump’s powers are limited at this point. Our 2A rights seem secure for the time being; without which, we become, “subjects,” and no longer “free men.”

Hard to say how many people voted on 2A alone.

I had less than ten in 2008, more in 2009, a few more in 2010, add a few in 2011, add another ten including my first three AR’s in 2012, more in 2013, more in 2014, still more in 2015 and about ten so far in 2016. Eleven for the year after Tuesday.

I hear California just passed another stupid gun control law and made a lot of law abiding citizens into instant criminals. As an expatriate Californian I’ll be happy to assist anyone from CA with storage in a slightly out of CA city in the much more friendly state of Arizona, for a nominal fee of course. They will be kept in a humidity and temperature controlled safe with your name on a tag and you can access them any time you feel the need, during normal business hours of course. I don’t work on Sunday’s. That’s for Church and worship of God our true father.
When they come for your guns you can say you don’t have them anymore. It will be an honest answer if you say it that way. Just don’t answer about ownership.

  • Rick November 12, 2016, 8:26 am

If you go back to pre-1968 Omnibus Anti-Crime Bill.. Betcha 2 too 3 guns per family was average. No study.. Just by experience. Today paranoia and or knowledge drives the gun collector. Like uncertainty drives the pantry. Neither the pantry nor perceived necessity of firearms is new. It is old technology of our forefathers and mothers.. No pun intended… or maybe it was.

    • hey November 12, 2016, 10:12 pm

Guns & ammo are also a better source of barter than gold during a time of complete economic collapse, where cash has no value. I am not paranoid for making such statements I am just not stupid for understanding just because such of a thing has not happened in my lifetime doesn’t mean it won’t happen like other times in history. Let’s not forget the Titanic was unsinkable and there are many idiots today that would have been on it making the same statemant as the hull fills with water.

    • Andrew November 14, 2016, 3:27 am

Rick I will bet that you are wrong. Up till about 1860 the average gunowning household had 6-8 but it was not tracked as it is today. It was in the 1860s when the price went up to where the average gun cost a months wages that the numbers went down to 4-5 then 3 in the 1880’s-19-teens then back up with the doughboys bringing back guns from the war and then the race was on with surplus guns and trophy guns coming back from WW2,Korea and Vietnam and the government of course selling surplus guns and captured guns to the people to pay for the war

  • srsquidizen November 12, 2016, 7:56 am

“Super” gun owner because you own more than 10? I’m not a collector by any means but I have more than that. Among them are a couple of antiques owned by ancestors including a revolver nearly identical to the one that shot McKinley. That by itself would probably make me suspicious to academic eggheads. Who cares how many guns people have if they are law-abiding citizens? I suggest they do a study on themselves compiling stats about “super” bow-tie owners. It would be more meaningful.

    • Chris Baker November 12, 2016, 7:50 pm

“Super Bow Tie Owners”? What’s that? Someone who owns more than 10 Chevrolets? Eeww.

  • GradyPhilpott November 11, 2016, 7:13 pm

If the general public was not forthcoming with election pollsters with regard to their voting preferences, and that is what the pollsters are now saying, then how forthcoming are they with regard to gun ownership in those areas where registration laws don’t exist or even where they do exist.

I’m not sure what to think of the rest of the article. Maybe it’s satire.

    • loupgarous November 12, 2016, 1:43 pm

I’d say it was paranoia, but the Senate lost eight Republicans this election, and has a bare majority of one. So all sorts of gun-control mischief will make it to the floor of the House and Senate, and the Senate will pass some of it because Michael Bloomberg’s got a ton of money to lobby with. A Federal tally on who’s got what guns might just clear the Senate, because the ominous specter of one of us hauling a pile of “assault rifles” out of a golf bag (think General Jack D. Ripper in “Dr..Strangelove”) and wasting a shopping mall is an easy one to sell, unfortunately.

So I’m going for “clumsily phrased,” not “paranoid”. I don’t a gun owner can be paranoid in this century. The American Left seems to think it’s their God-given right to take away our rights, one by one. We can’t let down on our vigilance against that. I’m active in letting my Congressman and Senators know when they’re about to see dangerous laws pass their desks. You folks ought to do the same thing, for the anti-gunners will be calling them up – it’s part of their strategy.

    • Frank November 14, 2016, 12:58 pm

I own a boat load of guns but do you think I would admit that to any pollster or government agency? It’s none of the governments business how many I as a law abiding citizen own!

  • Brian Bey November 11, 2016, 6:20 pm

Well I guess you can categorize me as a super duper gun owner. Academics need to spend more time figuring out how to get laid then burying their faces with coke bottle glasses in questionable analytics

  • mike ehrig November 11, 2016, 5:50 pm

oh my, another myth perpetuated by the liberals who think they know everthing. i travel in a large group of friends of which almost all possess at least 2 weapons, but i know of none who possess more they 6. i supposed you could call them all extremists because most own a shotgun, a 22 rifle, a large caliber rifle and maybe one or two handguns.

  • scott November 11, 2016, 5:14 pm

Finally a pro gun author who willing to suggest that the 2nd might not be safe even with the deal making trumpster. I know it ridicious. I mean every one knows the ego centric mega millionare Trump ( who live in gilded mansions
) is really concerned about the common working man.

    • Craig November 11, 2016, 9:53 pm

I wonder how Harvard got their hands on gun ownership records?

      • Israel November 14, 2016, 12:53 pm

From the FBI, and state police agencies. Maybe from the CDC from Obama’s “health study”

  • PatrickJT November 11, 2016, 4:51 pm

    • John t November 14, 2016, 2:55 pm

Agreed Patrick. Some of these post look like they are on a liberal webpage!! Some have no idea what Donald Trump will do, but, they will make stupid remarks without giving him a chance. May be they deserve Kil-liary.

  • Beachhawk November 11, 2016, 4:41 pm

I find it deliciously ironic that the very man who would disarm all American gun owners if he could, is responsible for increasing American gun ownership exponentially.

  • Will Drider November 11, 2016, 3:19 pm

This new term serves but one purpose: To reduce the number of guestimated firearm owners in order to state the impace of anti gun laws will only impact a small percentage of Americans. This new low number will be used in contrast to the much larger population who live rosey perfect lives without guns. Simply a title to reduce our collective voice in opposition to continued tyranny, this year or the next.

    • Joe McHugh November 11, 2016, 5:21 pm

That Harvard study describes my neighbor Bob to a “T”. I can personally attest to the fact that he owns enough guns and ammunition to re fight the Normandy beach landing of WWII. “Bob” can’t help himself, and he loves to exhibit a few of his firearms to friends and relatives. I’m not sure where he keeps his guns. He once said that they could not be discovered with a metal detector. Bob is somewhat paranoid.

Bob knows that I regard firearms as being an unnecessary risk when there are children in the home. He also knows that I feel that owning guns eventually leads to criminal behavior. I try to get some sense of his fascination with firearms by asking pertinent questions or making common sense observations such as:
If one has time to pick up a gun, one has time to call 911.
Any home invader would probably take your gun away and kill you with it.
If you injure or kill a home invader, you will be sued, or even charged in court.
I asked him if he could live with the guilt of injuring or killing another human being.
I reminded him that even criminals have civil rights, such as the right to life.
I asked him why he needed an assault weapon with high capacity magazines.
None of his answers and replies about his evil guns made sense to me.

Bob was unwavering and he didn’t even pause to reconsider his inexplicable
desire to have firearms. One time he looked at me with what I can only describe as
a regard of bemused pity, and he said that if our society suffered a serious breakdown,
he would loan me a gun for self-defense. I laughed and said that he was engaging in silly fantasies.
I mean really, the very thought that such a thing might occur!

I’m beginning to think that Bob is a super menace to society.

      (sarc. sw. off)

      • Rob November 11, 2016, 6:34 pm

It sounds as if your neighbor is a whole lot kinder than you are capable of being. Being pompous and haughty isn’t exactly a redeeming characteristic. However, so typical of the so-called “educated”.
Did it ever occur to you that your neighbor is being kind to you, and looking out for your well-being?

        • Chris Baker November 12, 2016, 7:56 pm

Duh, missed the note at the bottom about the sarcasm switch being turned off now? Why did you not recognize it as sarcasm in the first place? These are many of the very homilies that the liberal people use and those are the very people who would never read a column like this.

      • Gary November 11, 2016, 6:40 pm

You can call 911 as fast as getting the gun, but will the police get there before you’re dead? Can you live with the guilt if the rest of your family gets raped or murdered while you are talking to a voice on the phone? If guns cause criminal behavior then his front yard is littered with dead bodies by now, right? Hmm, not even a police visit since you’ve known him, maybe your conclusions are wrong about him. But if the shtf , i would not loan you a gun, because without proper training and determination, YOU would be a liability, not the children.

Apparently you live in a city or other very “Urban Environment”.
I live in the Country 911 20+ Minutes for response. Do you want your Wife and Children at the mercy of a Criminal while you wait? You need to be prepared or suffer the consequences!

      • Rich November 12, 2016, 2:44 am

Sure call 911 and ask the bad guys if they wouldn’t mind waiting 11 minute’s at a minimum for the cops to show up FYI & LOL. I’ll call Diane Fenstein to hurry on over ,let’s see she carries a hand gun and also has a CCW permit!! Must be nice did you factor that into your study. Thank God we are not facing 4 more years of obama how he was so bold as to call Bush in patriotic for raising our dept. REALLY 21 trillion and not allowing 85,000 M1’s from Korea that oblong to the USA to begin with. Yes my father used one against the nazi’s how patriotic they are collector rifles . For all you lib cry babies get over it and go tell georgie cry baby Sorous he could do better things with his money than funding cry baby protestors that have been indoctrinated by all are great liberal college professors . Your so wonderful NOT!!!!!???

      • Frank November 14, 2016, 2:21 pm

Mr. McHugh,You sir are an over educated idiot!!! Guns in and of themselves ARE NOT EVIL! People are evil!!! A firearm is just a tool that can be used for the propagation of either good (defense of ones self and family or any innocent individual you happen being accosted) or evil! God has laid the very tools to defend the life and liberty He so amply blessed us with at your feet and you are a total fool to choose not to use them in this evil world! If you are a responsible gun owner you teach your children firearm safety and the responsible use of them! How about picking up your firearm and calling 911? When seconds count the cops are just minutes away! I practice regularly and any home invader at my house WILL NOT HAVE THE CHANCE TO TAKE MY FIREARM AWAY before I send them directly to hell!!! Who is going to sue me if I kill them? Their family? After we finally got the liberal pin heads out of our state government and got sensible folks in office we got our castle doctrine bill passed in the state legislature which specifically prohibits any survivor from being able to sue any one who uses justifiable homicide in defense of themselves, their family and any other individual whose life is being threatened and by law the citizen can not be charged! Can I live with knowledge I killed another person? Yes I can with absolutely no ethical or moral repercussions whatsoever because I have done so in defense of my life and family already and sleep soundly every night in the knowledge I performed my marital and family duty! It is a serious act to kill someone created in Gods image and likeness but when it comes down to the life of either a demonically influenced thug or myself what am I supposed to do? When criminals invade your house Mr. McHugh and you’re being held at gun point while other thugs are raping your wife and daughter wouldn’t you like to see Bob and his evil guns make an appearance in your doorway right about then? When criminals choose to perpetrate crime against innocent individuals or families they forfeit any civil rights they may have had and deserve any bodily harm that comes their way which in my opinion should be death to rid civilized society of such parasites! If you are so educated, why have you misinterpreted our Second Amendment Constitutional right as the founders intended it or are you a proponent of the revisionist lies? The founders believed it to be every law abiding citizens civic and moral responsibility to be armed to resist the lawless!!! If you research the ratifiers commentaries of which they are many you will see the ratifiers intended our country’s citizens to be armed with small arms equal to anything the military possesses! You stated Bob looked at you with what you called a regard of bemused pity but I sir regard you in a state of outright contempt! You sir are a fool to the utmost degree and you and people like you are the real super menace to civilized society! You should really get your head out of your backside before it is to late because whether it originates from either within or external powers causing it, it is only a matter of a time before our divided society suffers a total and complete break down and Bob is being kind to loan use of a weapon that you will probably accidentally shoot yourself with! If you were my neighbor I wouldn’t waste one round defending your traitorous ignorance you foolish man!!!

Nice bit of satire. Very well written and funny. However, as a ” super owner” I would not lend anyone a weapon. They lack even familiarization training. I give them a corner to cower in and menial tasks to perform for the privilege of using hat corner. Yes, I read the entire comment; including the part where you explained it was sarcasm.

Another useless study done by know nothing academics who haven’t a clue.
Like any other pursuit, occupation, hobby, gun owners have different tools for different jobs.
We generally don’t duck hunt with the guns you use for three gun competition.
We generally don’t protect your home and family with guns unsuitable for that purpose.
We generally don’t teach you kids gun safety practices with guns appropriate only for adults.
We generally don’t hunt quail with deer rifles.
We generally don’t use large handguns used for hunting or competition for concealed carry.
There are an almost unlimited number of examples available to those of us who might be mischaracterized as ‘Super owners’.
Is this akin to the racist super predators term used by Hillary Clinton to describe black urban youth?
Of course those who conducted this study and defined the results don’t understand why what they did is both based on a lack of understanding and false premises.

    • Greg H. November 11, 2016, 3:01 pm

ONLY 270 million guns? That’s a gross underestimation in my opinion, and here’s why I think that.
There’s around 90 to 100 million or so gun owners. No one knows for sure, since we (thankfully!) have no national gun registration law. Those who keep a gun for self-defense usually have just one gun, and couples may have a gun for each of them. Hunters and recreational shooters tend to have at least several or more guns, plus any self defense guns. Competitive shooters tend to have more guns than hunters and/or recreational shooters and self-defense gun owners. Serious collectors of firearms of particular makes, calibers, types, and of eras of history tend to have a lot more guns than either hunters, recreational and competitive shooters or those who keep a gun for self-defense. Many gun owners belong in ALL of the above categories. Based on my lifelong ownership and knowledge of guns, knowledge of and as a member of those various categories of gun owners, competitive shooters and the gun owner community in general, I’d estimate the number of firearms in private hands in the US at around 1 BILLION, and possibly more.

    I said yes.

Maybe these are the same people who helped track the Fast and Furious Guns and have now found a new job haha.
Perhaps these Harvard Elites should join their students for a good “CRY-IN”.

  • Larry November 11, 2016, 1:09 pm

There is no way of knowing how many guns there are in the country. 300 million? How about 400 or 500 million. Maybe even 600 million so how is the gubment going to confiscate all of them. Most of us have guns that have gone thru multiple trades over the years. Some of us have guns we traded for 30, 40 50 years ago. I doubt any of us are foolish enough to claim them should the gubment man stop by to take an inventory.
Anyway, I believe all of this is now moot as last Tuesday, WE WON!!! Trump slammed a wooden stake into the heart of the Evil one & we, collectively, saved America! Congratulations, my friends.

  • John E November 11, 2016, 12:12 pm

The problem with the study is that the vast majority of gun owners will tell the people taking the poll where they can shove their questions. Therefore their only conclusion can be that those that did respond to the question must own all those guns. Kind of the same way Hilary was leading in the polls but went down in flames! People supported Trump they just would not tell you.

The numbers just don’t match reality. Record numbers of guns sold. The same few people are not buy them all. Their are millions of new gun owners they just don’t want to tell you they own a gun because its none of your business!

  • trip3 November 11, 2016, 11:27 am

A lot of good comments. I went to bed Tuesday night with a feeling of dread that in the morning, I would hear that we were in store for four more years of a liberal elitist quasi-socialist president. We may have dodged a bullet. Apparently, there are a lot more of us high school educated, blue collar worker, middle class “deplorables” than they thought.
To all you veterans: Thank you for your service and may God bless you.

    • Larry November 11, 2016, 1:12 pm

I think what we dodged was more like a nuke instead of a bullet. Hillary, the Evil, was going to send her storm troopers in for our guns. Instead, we sent her into retirement & saved our country at the same time. Congratulations, everyone!

If you think they are going to destroy them (maybe after putting them in a digital data base), I have some swamp land in DC badly in need of draining I’m willing to give you for FREE.

    • TOM November 17, 2016, 8:39 pm

It amazes me how many believe that the background check identifies the guns sold. It does not. Only the 4473 indicates if the gun was “taken possession of” and that remains only in the hands of the dealer. I’m a dealer. The background check simply reveals a desire to purchase. Like so many others,… I feel that the numbers are way low. I wasn’t polled. How many of you were? This like all other gun polls are designed to elicit a specific response.

  • Donn November 11, 2016, 11:01 am

Hey folks, is that ‘Boating Accident’ you guys are talking about the recent Obama and company dumping overboard of several thousand WW11 vintage M1’s, carbines and thompsons, way out in the middle of the Pacific?

Heard they were our US property in storage for decades (in the Phillipines?). Brand new and still in grease, maybe some used ones too, supposedly en route back here on a military ship. All a big secret. They sure throw out our property and our rights too. I would have bought a carbine for sure! Maybe we can take America back and make it great again.

    • DJ November 11, 2016, 11:17 am

      WE just did

  • Gary November 11, 2016, 11:00 am

I doubt the pinheaded taxachusetts types were able to track sales so in othe words if you bought 10 and sold 1 I doubt you were deleted from the list. I’m sure this was a martial law planning activity

  • Bob November 11, 2016, 10:53 am

Always look at who does the paperwork…Harvard is like snowflake central…used to be a respected school but now a big pile of squirmy babies….You can bet any study coming out of here aims to put a target on your back.

    • Jim November 11, 2016, 12:16 pm

Actually, that would be BEDWETTING squirmy babies!

      • Alan November 11, 2016, 7:32 pm

Amen to that Robert…and the Pussification of America marches on!

  • Todd November 11, 2016, 10:50 am

+1 on that one Todd. Best comment so far, and really the only relevant one.

  • Karbine98 November 11, 2016, 10:49 am

What does 210 make me? Of course since many are original Civil War and early Winchesters, Colts, and S&W’s, my weight of a 5 second burst is a tad slow. That’s how they used to compare WWII fighters—-the total weight of a specific length of burst in steel and lead weight. Would love to draw a bead on an enemy of the people with my 1859 Sharps.

  • Mike Watkins November 11, 2016, 10:45 am

SO GOOD to see my fellow gun owners have survived the past 8 years with both sense of humor and perspective intact.

But seriously, Gentlemen. (Ladies too if any are here). If you’re answering questions about firearms from some “researcher”, you may as well hang a big bullseye on your back. I myself don’t have any worries, as I saw the light several years ago and melted down almost all of my guns with my welding torch. Yep, no B.S. Nothing left but that pile of slag. I saved it to turn over to the Feds if/when they someday bang on my door to demand my guns. Only kept my Granddad’s .22, and the .410 shotgun Grandma had by the kitchen door for copperheads.

I have my dear Obama-supporter sister to thank for my enlightenment. She loves me so much she just kept sending me those research reports. You know, the studies that prove if you have a handgun or assault weapon, you absolutely have 98-in-100 odds you will shoot your own children. I finally became a believer.

As for President-Elect Donald Trump (love being able to type that), we just don’t really know what he will do with the Second Amendment. Or the First. Or any part of the Constitution. Surely far better for us than Klinton or Sanders. For sure, the Donald hates political correctness so that’s a big positive sign. But still, DJT is a book we haven’t read yet.

As others are saying, keep your powder dry.

    • Alan November 11, 2016, 7:34 pm

      Well stated.

  • Don Tros November 11, 2016, 10:40 am

I think the real issue is Hillary won the popular vote which means Trump just barely slid in, which is really kind of scary. I’ve never been a Trump fan and I know there is only so much he can do, but I believe he meant what he said. I believe he will appoint Supreme Court Justices who will uphold, for the most part, the Constitution. I believe gun owners and the Country got a small break for now, but the media will continue to stir the pot in hopes of winning back seats in the Congress in the next midterm, and will continue to brainwash the masses against Trump and again guns. So this give some breathing room but not for long. Happy shooting.

    • Robert Novak November 11, 2016, 11:24 am

Sliding in with an overwhelming 300 some odd electorials and clinton is losing her popular vote now. President Elect Trump has steadily been climbing in the popular vote and may even over take her, they re still being counted.

    • Laura November 11, 2016, 11:53 am

I’m quite certain Hillary DID NOT WIN the popular vote as reported as you must deduct dead person votes, those who voted more than once, stolen/ripped up/discarded absentee ballots by postal workers and illegal immigrants who voted.

      • J.D.Hebert November 11, 2016, 12:59 pm

I am sure the demacrats cheated on the election but not enough to win, Obama said no cheating or rigged election but told the illegals to go vote because there are no reprecussions for it, I hope Trump makes a good president and cleans up Obamas mess, I would like the NRA to support making stealing a gun a felony.

      • MikeB November 12, 2016, 12:30 pm

As a retired AF NCO and retired USPS employee, I’m really getting tired of the insinuations that there was rampant destruction of absentee ballots just because some loon posted on another website that he was doing it. Did you ask yourself how they knew with ones to destroy and which to keep? There is nothing on the outside to indicate. You think they sat there and opened them to see and then resealed the Clinton ones? Every postal facility has enclosed catwalks where inspectors can observe and hear what is happening without anyone knowing they are in the building. In my 22 years with the USPS I only saw 2 employees escorted off the work floor by postal inspectors. So unless you have real documented proof, don’t believe everything you read /hear on the net.

    • ken garnto November 11, 2016, 1:33 pm

305 electoral votes to 233 and you think she won the ‘popular’ vote, look at a map of the red and blue states. she won the states that are DNSP and nothing more.

    • Keith November 11, 2016, 2:56 pm

Just remember Trump won the popular vote in 31 states.

  • Joe November 11, 2016, 10:40 am

Long ago I decided to limit myself to 10 total guns. When i reached 10 I had to trade one in or give one away to my nephew or niece or brother in law or sister when I wanted to buy a new piece.
This system keeps things affordable since I don’t need a new safe or a forth re loader kit or another safe to keep all those evil bullets in.
So am I only half a super duper gun owner for installing proper gun ownership in the minds of those I love ?

    • 57Chevy November 11, 2016, 11:59 am

I won’t discuss MY gun count, except that it exceeds 2 Digits! Powder, Primers, Brass, Reloading dyes, ETC. ETC. What deplorable class does that put me in?

  • JONDARMES November 11, 2016, 10:19 am

As a charter member of THE DEPLORABLES I have never been prouder than to be included in the SUPER GUN OWNER crowd. I’ve been that way for over 50 years and didn’t realize it was a slot. Does that also entitle me to Super Deplorable status?

  • John Saunders November 11, 2016, 10:11 am

I do not believe the results of this study for a minute, It is about as accurate as the polls they took the day before the election!

    • Caleb November 11, 2016, 10:52 am

I don’t either. How could they possibly know these numbers without a registration database? Polls? I lie every time they ask me about my guns. FFLs’ cooperation? Doubtful. I don’t know of any FFL who would be willing to submit information about his/her clients to anybody, especially the Feds or a university.

  • DarthVaderMentor November 11, 2016, 10:01 am

Harvard…..isn’t that the liberal propaganda center posing as an institute of higher learning where the infamous con man Dr. Jonathan Gruber got his PhD in “Health Economics”? You know, the key architect of both the 2006 Massachusetts health care reform, sometimes referred to as “Romneycare”, and the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, sometimes referred to as the “ACA” and “Obamacare”. Didn’t he also become a public political figure when he was the focus of a media and political firestorm in late 2014 when videos surfaced in which he made controversial statements about the legislative process, marketing strategies, and public perception surrounding the passage of the ACA?

Yep, Harvard. You know, the place where the famous Elizabeth “Fauxahontas” Warren is an acclaimed professor in the law school, you know, the school where President Obama got his Juris Doctorate in Law and became an editor of the Harvard Law Review. Same propaganda center where his wife Michelle got her Juris Doctor degree as well.

You know, Harvard University. The propaganda center cum University that is the birthplace of the “Harvard Poll” and some of the most brilliant pollsters in America! You know, the place where scientific polls say unequivocally that more than three in five young Americans prefer that a Democrat win the White House in 2016 rather than a Republican. Harvard is the birthplace of pollsters at the Harvard University’s Institute of Politics at the John F. Kennedy School of Government. The ones who predicted that sixty-one percent of 18-to-29 year-olds prefer that a Democrat be elected president in the fall, while 33 percent of those surveyed back a Republican in mid-2016. The same sage ones that predicted in a hypothetical head-to-head contest among likely voters, Democrat Hillary Clinton trounces Republican Donald Trump, 61 percent to 25 percent — a 36-point margin.

Yep, this a fair an accurate study with excellent, proven political “health economics” mathematicians like Jonathan Gruber supporting its results. At the top 1% financially and among the 3% super gun owner, I took the poll. They asked me how many guns I had. Yep, I answered I used to own a collection of 60+ guns, but I lost them all when my 60 foot yacht sank in a boating accident……

    • Mahatma Muhjesbude November 11, 2016, 10:48 am

Yup, Darth, the same HAAAVAAAAHHD–as they say ‘back’ East where they can’t enunciate English–that condescendingly abhors anyone who ends a sentence with a preposition, and just prior to the ‘smashing’ Trump reality check was anticipating offering a new sociology studies major in…Pragmatic Totalitarianism. Yup… as all we Die Hard Patriot Deplorables STILLl say.

      • Boss November 11, 2016, 6:58 pm

Texan’s first day at, you guessed it, HAAAVAAAAHHD. He asks another student “Where is the library at.”
The student rears his head back, looks down his nose at the Texan and says, “You don’t end a sentence with a preposition.!”
The Texan says , totally unruffled… wait for it, “Where is the library at, A@@hole?

  • GRA November 11, 2016, 10:00 am

ROFL … I’m definitely a ” SUPER GUN OWNER”, especially if you count my muzzleloaders. They are always trying to classify that which they hate as “the worst of the worse”. This doesn’t surprise me they are doing this. Shows they are more paranoid and lame than I ever gave them credit for. I fully agree that we should maintain our vigilance as no doubt they are going to spend hours on end trying to come up with some way to slide their paranoid communist agenda in any way they can.

Azzholes at Harvard don’t know SHITE from SHINOLA!
Harvard hustlers need to find a new job now that there is a new SHERIFF in town!!
The bright side of all this is, maybe now quality gun and ammo prices will go down to where they should be and not at hysteria prices!!

Victory is a new experience for some people. Keep diligent, keep alert, be prepared to defend our rights when we must. 1A and 2A must be preserved at all costs. When you look at the map of The USA from the election last Tuesday, you know each and every state is red. WE ARE THE MAJORITY, and yes…..we did WIN. Let’s keep it that way.

    • 57Chevy November 11, 2016, 12:14 pm

    Ladies and Gentlemen,
Didn’t LIKE the way he Presented yesterday, He SHOULD have looked like Patton rolling in, instead it looked like “They” were all looking at him like Biden looks at 12 year old Cheerleaders, and HE was TOO Impressed with them. The meeting with O’Commie was TOO LONG and O’Commie did NOT look SCARED NOR was he crying. I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt though. He’s been through ALOT but there is STILL 70 days of POTENTIAL MAYHEM left. Watch the “PROTESTS”, they are being Choreographed. Watch for the Stab in the Back Doublecross when you start hearing, “Oh, he REALLY didn’t MEAN that it was for the campaign we’ll have to see about THAT” as it applies to “Certain PROMISES” he made to us ESPECIALLY in regards to HILLARY. And REMEMBER that he is NOT AFFILIATED so WHATEVER “They” might have planned for us and the US, NO “POLITICIAN or POLITICAL PARTY” can or will be blamed. It’s ALL on him. Whether or not THAT was an “Accident” remains to be seen. He NEEDS a WARTIME CONSIGLIERI and he DOESN’T have one. Pay attention to the “PROPAGANDA MINISTRY” aka CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, The TIMES, The Post, Late Night BULLSHIT COMEDY etc, they have a NEW AGENDA to CONTINUE the CHARACTER ASSASINATION and to support the “Demonstrations. Do NOT drop your guards, Do NOT become complacent OR overconfident, do NOT come down BELOW DEFCON 4. At LEAST until the 101st day of his Administration. Do NOT start the “Party” yet!

    • John R November 11, 2016, 11:18 am

You are quite correct. Just this morning I received an email asking me to sign a petition to have the Electoral College’s results deemed null and void and Hildabeast deemed “the winner.”
The snowflakes lost, they need to deal with it like we had to when Obama was elected.

      • 57Chevy November 11, 2016, 12:22 pm

To hell with that worthless petition! The DUM-O-RATS Can’t Take losing, including Killary, ODUMBO, The Media & ALL their Corrupt Cronies!!!!!!!! As both Hank’s sang………………”There’s A Tear In Their Beer”

  • Scott November 11, 2016, 9:27 am

I am a proud Super Gun owner! Regardless of who is in office, this fact will never change. As a Texan I am shocked that the percentage of us is not higher. I guess that those leftist states only let criminals possess guns. I would like to know what percentage of us have a food and water supply. That would be a real report of just how serious we are.

    Always be prepared

  • Rick Palluck November 11, 2016, 9:26 am

Times are changing.Let the good times roll.Enjoy them. It’s been so long that we’ve had them “Goodtimes ” that we might have forgotten how.Always stay vigilant, keep your powder dry,but relax a little. You can’t stay wound up tight forever.,something is bound to break if you don’t.Smile once in awhile……you just might like it……….Have a Great Day!

If a conservative doesn\’t like guns, he doesn\’t buy one. If a liberal doesn\’t like guns, he wants your guns outlawed. If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn\’t eat meat. If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone. If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy. A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good. If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life. If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect. If black or Hispanic men are conservative, they see themselves as independently successful. Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection. If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A down-and-out liberal wonders who is going to take care of him. If a conservative doesn\’t like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don\’t like be shut down. If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn\’t go to church. A liberal non-believer wants any mention of the Judeo-Christian God and religion silenced. If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may compete for a job that provides it. A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his. If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed. If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he\’s in labor and then sues. If a company CEO expresses an opinion that a conservative doesn\’t like (e.g., Amazon, Apple, Ben & Jerry\’s and Starbucks), the conservative does not do business with that company. Or he may buy the company\’s product, but ignore the CEO\’s opinion. If a company CEO expresses an opinion that a liberal doesn\’t like (e.g., Chick-fil-A, Hobby Lobby, Papa John\’s), the liberal wants the company put out of business. Or at least he tries to keep it from expanding where he lives. If a conservative receives this in his e-mail, he\’ll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh. A liberal will delete it because he\’s \”offended.\”

Helinski should be glad that Clinton and Comey have raised the bar for what it takes to be convicted of mishandling state secrets. The author’s revelation of the “Ant Man Project” and it’s initial success at reducing the size of an adult gun owner to under 1/3 of an inch would otherwise be considered treason punishable by a sentence of life at hard labor – probably busting bauxite rocks at the secret government aluminum mines in New Mexico.

  • wasntme November 11, 2016, 8:14 am

  • Chris H. Beyer November 11, 2016, 7:47 am

I happen to enjoy collecting guns and have both contemporary and historpical pieces. The fact that those of us who have more than ten guns were singled out for this study is part of the liberal cabal of denigrating gun owners. Of course, I have family protection guns but more importantly, I view guns as an engineering art form and technical marvels.

The article’s commentary about Donald Trump is somewhat odd given the alternative we were faced with (Hillary) given that she had openly stated that she questioned the second amendment in regard to individuals rights to own guns. She also indicated admiration for Australia’s gun regulation model which makes legal gun ownership almost impossible. If we get two or three conservative judges (new) on the Supreme Court, legal challenges to the second amendment will be DOA for years to come. I clearly don’t see Trump coming for my guns.

    • cwo5davis November 11, 2016, 10:32 am

Well said. I was an armorer in the Marines and became fascinated with the mechanism. I drove me into weapons and ammo design later in life. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been born into a country that preserves our right to own and possess firearms. It is unfortunate that at the same time, so many people and politicians are working against those rights.

As a super gun owner, second generation retired U.S. Marine wanted to share a story. Last night I took my Father to the local American Legion Post escorted by the Legion Riders you see my Father is 91 and served in WW II, Korea and Vietnam and he was Honored by them. After the Color Guard still holding my salute we recited the Pledge Of Allegiance and I felt the same Pride that I feel when ever I here the Marine Corps Hymn. “The Donald” was just elected on Tuesday and will not take power for a little bit beyond 2 months. Why not about give him the benefit of the doubt until then? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that it is a bad idea to to begin criticizing someone before they have had a chance to actually do something.

  • Timmy November 11, 2016, 5:57 am

I was somewhat baffled by the point of this article and further confused by the final sentences as to whether the writer is making bad jokes or actually serious.

That said, I was curious how the authors came to their conclusion since there is no legal way to account for and attribute specific numbers of firearm sales to any one individual unless they decide to tell you. It was enough to make me actually look at the study and, just as I suspected, it’s complete and utter garbage.

The results are based on a paltry four data points which are surveys taken in 1994, 2004, and then in early 2015 with a supplemental survey in late 2015. From this latest survey they ended up with 2,072 people who were dumb enough to answer their online survey questions, about their personal firearm ownership habits.

That’s it. 2072 people. And from that group they then went on to project the firearm owning habits of 320 million Americans.

    Sounds legit.

The only positive out of this nonsense is that gun-grabbers continue to waste their money on nonsensical “studies”.

    • Ralph Brooks November 11, 2016, 9:42 am

Yep. Just like when Quinnipiac does a survey of 1200 people in Boston and Philly and claims 90% support for an assault weapons ban.

  • Robert Burns November 11, 2016, 5:26 am

That’s my new goal, to be a super gun owner!!

  • Ron November 11, 2016, 5:20 am

So the powers that be are worried about us “super gun owners”, but not the 1% of Americans that own the 90% plus of all the wealth in our country. Hmmmm.

    • Leighton Cavendish November 11, 2016, 9:36 am

      Deflecting…as always…

      • Ron November 14, 2016, 5:11 pm

I’m not a threat to the safety and security of this country, but I bet you think so.

  • slapback1 November 11, 2016, 5:17 am

Whoa. This took a turn. And I thought this was a relatively non-conspiratorial website. Actually glad to see awareness is spreading. Keep up the good work.

  • Altoid November 11, 2016, 4:47 am

I’ve heard estimates that there are some 320 million legally owned firearms in the US.
    Shameful!
There should be at least 4 times that number, enough such that the next time we get another 0bama and an anti-freedom anti-constitution house and senate, they’ll never be able to find them all in order to confiscate them. And horse trade with your friends (private sale/swap). Keep that pool stirred up and as difficult to keep track of as possible. Continue to purchase ammo, but in small quantities over periods of time. Maybe if demand begins to drop off so will prices.

    Just my $.02

  • MP November 11, 2016, 4:44 am

You morons really bought it. Hook, line, & sinker.
There was never, ever, ever any credible threat of confiscation. It was never on the table. Any administration knows that any such action would result, literally, in armed defiance and probably civil war.
Yet the NRA and the gun companies and you (the gun press) made millions (if not billions) of dollars spreading baseless paranoia – threatening the public with a fictional threat of confiscation and loss of 2A rights.
There should be a basic IQ test for gun ownership. I have a feeling that few of y’all would pass.
Now that your “Muslim demon” is out of office and your safety orange-colored Putin puppet is in, who appears to be even dumber than most of you (which I thought was impossible, but hoo-boy was I wrong) – how are you going to scare people into filling your pockets??

    • John November 11, 2016, 7:18 am

It is true there will never be any kind of mass confiscation. I can predict that after some number of shootings by crazy nut jobs that there will eventually be a “common-sense” gun control law that makes gun ownership extremely difficult for those deeemed mentally ill, and lots of people will jump onto this as sounding like a reasonable compromise to do something about “gun violence”. The rub will come in that the law will be written to define at-risk mentally ill people medically as those who have been prescribed anti-depressant, anti-psychotic, sleep-disorder, and other mood-altering drugs including ADD and ADHD, which right now is half the adult population and probably most of the kids running around on Wellbutrin, Ritalin, etc. The result being that there will be a “common sense gun control” law that gives the authorities the option to selectively confiscate guns from those who arguably have been diagnosed as having a mental illness. So I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I can see the avenue by which gun control will eventually be passed that will effectively apply to most of the population.

    • Mike k November 11, 2016, 8:15 am

You seem to think that every gun owner buys overpriced guns and stockpiles them, waiting for the zombie apocalypse that will never happen. Well most gun owners actually shoot their guns and enjoy them. I try to go shooting once a week. If i made some people at the gun manufacturer wealthy, i’m ok with that. Almost every gun I own can be sold for more money than i paid for it. An awesome gun collection costs about the same as an entry level sportscar these days. If you were about to go drop 30k on a new mustang gt, why not buy a used one for $12k and $5k on a few quality guns? Take your leftover cash and pay down your mortgage? You’ll Be money ahead by far in the future.
The truth that lost hillary the election is this: city vs county. Yes look at the political map. City people who love to be snooty, wear expensive clothes and think they are smarter and richer than non city people. City people only see guns as something gang members use illegally, and only cops should have. At my income level (which is a lot more than average) i could buy a shitty small, inefficient home in Chicago and get taxed to death. Instead i live an hour away, and live quite well. I make myself wealthy instead of the banks and corrupt city union employees. Who’s a dumb redneck now? See you ran the campaign by Stereotyping everyone outside the city as woman hating, ignorant, homophobic, racist, muslim hating, etc etc. These things aren’t true, we resented being called these. We kept quiet because if we said we didn’t like Hillary we must hate women, gays, blacks, muslims etc. you pissed us off with this label, so we came out and voted your liberal regime out on Tuesday. Now go live with it for the next 4-8 yrs.

PS. Your article almost sounded legit until you mentioned the aluminum nanoparticle airplane thing. I fly a jet myself so i’ll keep a lookout up there for you. Stop making gun owners sound nutty.

      • Mark Are November 11, 2016, 8:58 am

I sure agree on your economic sense. I bought a 6 year old BMW Sport Wagon for $18,000 that cost the original owner $65,000. I’ve been driving it now for 5 years making it 11 years old. It still looks new and I figure if I drive it for one more year I’ll have put the same amount of miles on it that she did, but paid so much less that I can fill my battle ship up with lots of guns for the zombie Apocalypse to arm my friends and neighbors with and most likely the ship WILL sink if there ever is an issue with having “too many guns” or “too much ammo”. As for the aluminum nanoparticles? You might want to do some research on that. Look up “chemtrails”.

        • Paul Helinski November 11, 2016, 10:55 am

You should look up the link that I gave you, and also Solar Radiation Management, which is the real term for what the planes are doing. Chemtrails was a term created to label a “conspiracy theory” because there are entire scientific conferences about SRM. You are being left behind in your own ignorance and mental lazyness.

      • Mahatma Muhjesbude November 11, 2016, 11:43 am

Mike, you don’t believe in Chem Trails???

What Kind of ‘jet’ do you fly? The one at the Walmart kiddie room?

        Are you ‘current’?

I hope you are because you sure are NOT current on Chem Trails. The government doesn’t even deny it?! They just hide the details under their Global Warming ‘Solar Radiation Management’ projects.

    • Common Sense November 11, 2016, 8:29 am

We never thought it would be through confiscation. The method would be to stop ownership of new guns via legislation for whatever presumed threat from things like the oh so evil .223 ‘assault weapons’ and their horrible semi-automatic nature. It’s never an all at once thing, and it’s happening more at the state level than at the federal level. If he still had the senate and house you would have seen laws regarding the restrictions of new firearm and ammo sales that would probably look like what CA just passed. In my state, I have guns I can no longer buy magazines from the manufacture that built them because they hold more than 10 rounds in the stock magazine, nor can I buy certain guns simply because they don’t come in a model that will only hold ten rounds. It’s the drip, drip, drip of regulations that we lose the rights. The only thing during the past two years that stopped it from happening was a republican congress and his knowledge of measures against the 2A via executive order would have. The ‘Moron’ here is the guy who posts that people went out and bought something they thought the government would take away, because he can’t understand that wasn’t the motivation. They knew if given the chance, the liberals would pass laws banning those gun purchases in the future. This article in my view is as conspiratorial and idiotic as your post, so they should compliment each other quite well on the same page. I’m all for the IQ test for gun ownership… it would ensure that conservatives would continue to be the only people that should be allowed to own a gun at all. BTW – thanks for venting about seeing your Hillary lose… it does bring joy, so by all means please continue. You can spare me how you never said she was your candidate… that part shines through in your words.

Where do YOU work, CNN, or BBC, or MSNBC, or National Barack Channel, Anal Barack Channel or Commie Barack Channel. Doesn’t really matter, with ALL of that negative Trump, Pro Hi LIAR y propaganda flowing like a river, HABITUAL PATHOLOGICAL LIAR/LAWBREAKER BROOM-RIDING female is now crashing through the glass basement. She should be going to the BIG HOUSE (w/steel bars) & NEVER again towards the White House. AMERICANS have spoken!

    • Smitty November 11, 2016, 8:57 am

      MP
You lost the election. I’m going to tell you like you liberals told us when Obama won. Go sit down on the back of the bus, shut up and enjoy the ride.

    • Ralph Brooks November 11, 2016, 9:45 am

Overturning Heller and repealing PLCAA would be as good as confiscation. What good are guns you can’t take out of the house, leave to your children, sell or buy? What good are they when the munitions plants no longer sell ammo to civilians for fear of a lawsuit?

There was definitely a credible threat. Door to door knocking? No. But an empty gun, stashed in the rafters, is as good as none.
Thanks for your input, but get bent.

      • trip3 November 11, 2016, 11:12 am

        Well said.

    • Shecky November 11, 2016, 10:51 am

Whaaaa. Did your little princess get her ass handed to her and now you claim that your that your the only one with an IQ. Like the guy below said…we live in a state of idiots California with the biggest idiots running it. Ol gov moonbeam the leading moron just made me a criminal…hey moonbeam screw you too. Hopefully we can get this overturned as unconstitutional….if not, I’ll live with the fact I as a Marine 1973-83 22nd MEU and retired business owner that never had a problem with the law, now was made a criminal by a bunch of raving lunatics like YOU!!!

    • Robert Szucs November 11, 2016, 9:26 pm

      What’s your address libsi?
I would like to talk to you!

  • Russ H November 11, 2016, 3:37 am

I am ecstatic that Trump won and Clinton lost. I am also relieved that I don’t have to worry about losing my guns due to a continued lib/dem government under Clinton and a scary supreme court. But this “…The Donald. He was put in to continue the surveillance state, continue reckless money printing, and continue a black hole military budget so that we continue to fund the geoengineering airplanes that flew over your house today and sprayed you with aluminum nanoparticulates and who knows what else.” This is a bit over the top. Maybe you’re being sarcastic? I agree we need to not let our guard down but I don’t buy into the whole conspiracy theory stuff and I know there are plenty of politicians who support the 2nd Amendment – to include Trump. We put them in office and we can vote them out. Trump created a movement that rallied Americans who were fed up with the last eight years and the possibility of a HRC presidency. This kind of article makes all respectable law abiding gun owners look like whackos. If I misread this – my apologies.

    • Mark Are November 11, 2016, 9:05 am

So do you really think Donald is going to reign in the spying on the American people by the NSA? Well, maybe. Do you really think he is going to do something about the unconstitutional Federal Reserve system? Well, maybe. Do you really think he is going to stop all the wars “we” are involved in and bring the troops home to work on the roads and bridges? Well, maybe. Do you think he is going to stop the geoengineering that is going on all over the planet with chemtrails? Well, maybe…I guess we will at least give him the chance to find out. I’m hoping we can get him to dump the NFA so we can get suppressors for $25 bucks and take our Sig braces off of our AR pistols as well as purchase newly manufactured full auto firearms. After all, the 2nd amendment DOES say SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED, doesn’t it President Donald Trump?

  • IYearn4nARnCali November 11, 2016, 3:16 am

The squishy attempt to attach hidden malevolence with the ownership of more than a few firearms makes me laugh even more given the election results; granted the Electoral is still out there. But, to counter the figures of this study and the attempt to connect the term “super-owner” with dormant criminality only works if ONLY people who own multiple guns are prone to a higher rate of committing crimes; which they ain’t be.

I own around 300 pencils, yet I am not a “super-owner” but an art student, I own more than 100 cheerios, yet I’m not a “super-owner” but just purchased a single box of cereal. Having multiplicities of those items does not make me MORE prone to write millions of pages of text, nor does the large number of cheerios make me pour myself 40 bowls of cereal in a single sitting. PLEASE, left wing ding dongs, UNDERSTAND that you lost because you think you are smarter then the rest of the nation, you LOST because of studies like this that base their hypothesis on BS premises, and you had the AUDACITY to think you were so much smarter that we would just accept your disdain for the rest of us. BOOM.
