Most of us who carry firearms for self-defense are extremely conscientious about how and where we carry our guns in public. But what we do with them when we are not carrying is equally important. Whether in our homes or in our cars, we need to carefully consider how we store our guns.

Both sides of this debate want to keep kids safe, properly secure firearms, and avoid another Santa Fe massacre, but only the pro-gun community has donated millions of dollars to the effort. If they really care about protecting kids, the anti-gun lobby should do the same.

If you ask most gun owners about humidity they will say it is bad for your guns. Yes, humidity can be bad for your guns. Too much and, oh yes, too little can be bad for your guns as well. So, to define the parameters of the battle, let’s consider the correct level of humidity.

Selling a used gun safe does not necessarily mean that something is wrong with it. There are many other reasons one might be sold. I can tell you from experience, as I have sold several perfectly good safes. The owner could be moving to a new home, upgrading to a larger safe, or just orchestrating a general “force realignment” due to domestic changes.
