While we’re not typically pig-headed objectifiers of woman, in the wake of a recent “Hot Hunter” contest (see video above) conducted by youtube star and avid outdoors-woman Kendall Jones the time has come for us to wear that hat, albeit reluctantly.

See, we’re feminists. To quote Gloria Steinem, “A feminist is anyone who recognizes the equality and full humanity of women and men.” So, if they’re judging us based on our beauty and ranking us accordingly, well, it’s only fair that we return the favor. Right? Cause we’re all equal and part of embracing the full humanity of women is to, on occasion, pay particular attention to their aesthetic appeal. Right?

We don’t know, we may be misusing that quote but whatever, this is an opportunity to be openly crass, critical and perhaps a bit creepy so we just going to run with it come what may. Yes, we openly acknowledge that it’s creepy to publish a list of the top 5 pro-gun hotties. But if you have a problem, blame Kendall! She’s the one who started it. Actually don’t blame her, she deals with enough B.S. already from all those animal rights activists and that one really, really, really creepy left-wing politician that wanted to post photos of her naked online.

Alright, below is our list of the top five most attractive pro-gun gals in no particular order. We may be overlooking some, so please chime in with any you think we missed and perhaps we’ll revisit this topic again in the future.

Emily Miller: Blondish hair: check. Physically fit: check. Gun owner: check. What else is there to say, really?

Actually a lot. The intrepid investigative reporter and author is more than eye candy, she’s a well-read, well-spoken second amendment advocate that would give even the most ardent gun-rights activist a run for his money. Her book, “Emily Gets Her Gun… But Obama Wants Yours,” brought much-needed attention to the bureaucratic mess that is the Washington, D.C. handgun licensing system. Now that change is on the horizon in the nation’s capital, it’s fair to say that we owe at the very least a tip of the cap to Ms. Miller.

Dana Loesch: Her doll-like features give one the impression that she would be mild-mannered and meek in person. But the reality is she’s a firecracker– in the best possible sense of the term. As a conservative radio host, Tea Party representative, gun rights advocate and mother of two homeschooled children this feisty brunette is not shy about voicing her opinion.

Consider some of her very entertaining quotes on the Second Amendment from her recently published book, “Hands Off My Gun: Defeating the Plot to Disarm America.”

“Maybe if abortions were done with so-called ‘assault weapons,’ progressives would finally be OK with firearms.”

“The first greatest lie ever told is that the devil doesn’t exist. The second greatest lie is any Democrat saying that they’re for the Second Amendment.”

“In essence, Michael Moore is OK with the nation’s school children having less protection than he has himself.”

3. Katie Pavlich: When we look at this precocious 26-year-old we think of the girl next door, that is the cute, kind unassuming girl that you thought you had a chance with back in high school but were always afraid to ask out, and now you regret you never did with every fiber of your being.

But Pavlich isn’t your average girl next door, she’s an insanely accomplished journalist and author. She serves as a news editor for Townhall.com, a contributing editor for Townhall Magazine and a Fox News Channel personality. Not only that, she’s written not one, but two books: “Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and Its Shameless Cover-Up” and “Assault & Flattery: The Truth About the Left and Their War on Women.”

Here’s a quote from her book on the ATF’s fatally-flawed gun-running program Operation Fast and Furious:

“Operation Fast and Furious wasn’t a ‘botched’ program. It was a calculated and lethal decision to purposely place thousands of guns into the hands of ruthless criminals. The guns weren’t accidentally misplaced or lost. They didn’t just somehow “fall into the wrong hands” by mistake. The operation was a coordinated and planned effort not to track guns but to arm thugs south of the border for political gain.”

Amy Robbins: Guys are still talking about the first episode of the National Rifle Association’s web series NOIR because while many tuned in to watch the star of the show, urban gun enthusiast Mr. Colion Noir, they walked away duly impressed with cohost Amy Robbins.

The self-described “TV host, writer, producer, running enthusiast, frugal- shopping extraordinaire, loud -talkin’ proud Texan, 2A Loving Woman,” was wearing a mini-skirt that in that episode that was so fine it would make a blind man see. To put it another way and to quote rock n roll legends ZZ Top: “She’s got legs, she knows how to use them” (yeah, those are rather lame and trite compliments, but you get the point).

But like the other women on the list, Amy is more than just a pretty face (and a great pair of legs). She’s smart, witty, funny and a great spokeswoman for Second Amendment rights. We look forward to seeing how she evolves in her role on NOIR.

Taylor and Kendall: How can we choose between Taylor and Kendall? Answer: We can’t. They come as a pair and represent the best of both worlds by which I mean the eternal and binary debate over “blondes or brunettes.” Besides, why choose one when you can have both? Right? Of course, that means double the trouble but that’s a small price to pay to add both to the list.

Kendall’s got the blonde-blonde hair, the million-dollar smile and an optimism about her that would make Richard Simmons jealous. Meanwhile, Taylor has the long brown hair, the light eyes and a face that would launch a thousand ships. And together they represent the future of gun rights. They are the next generation of gun owners and quite frankly we can’t think of a better duo to spread the gospel of guns to millennials.

Conclusion

So, yes, we while we are emphasizing the attractiveness of these women we hope that we also did a fair job showcasing their accomplishments and discussing their potential to expand gun rights around the country. Despite the sarcasm in the introduction, that was our true intent because no one should be judged solely based on sex appeal. Sure, it happens all the time, guys judge girls solely based on looks and vice versa, but to circle back to that Steinem quote, we at GunsAmerica believe in acknowledging the full equality and humanity of women: their beauty, their character and the reality that without them we’d be nothing.
