President Trump has made it known that he supports the troops. To that end, Breitbart News reported last week that Trump met with a class of Green Beret candidates and brought them inside the Oval Office for the first time in the course’s history.

When the 18 Army officers were scheduled to visit the National Security Council in February to hear an address from Deputy Assistant to the President Sebastian Gorka, an audible was made and they team was invited to the Roosevelt Room in the West Wing of the White House.

But the tour didn’t stop there, to the team’s great surprise, Trump invited them into the Oval Office to take pictures with the president.

“Halfway through the discussion, [Trump] said, ‘Hey — we’re not supposed to do this, but follow me,’ and he brought them all into the Oval Office, took a group photograph around the Resolute desk, and then — throwing the schedules into a bit of a tizzy, said, ‘OK that’s not good enough,’” Gorka told Breitbart News.

“He said, ‘Everybody stand in the corner.’ They all stood in the corner, and one-by-one we took photographs they can take home to their family with each future Green Beret next to the president at the Oval Office desk,” Gorka said.

“That’s how much he loves our soldiers — our warriors,” he said. Under Obama, he continued, they “wouldn’t have even gotten into the West Wing.”

From the looks of things, Trump is setting himself up as the most military friendly President in history. And, when I say that, I’m including Grant and Eisenhower.

Trump taking the time to meet and greet a gaggle of Special Forces candidates shows a deep appreciation for the military. It is a far cry from the contempt of the Obama years or the outright hostility on tap last time a Clinton ran the White House (Enjoying retirement?).

Trump is proving to be a man of his word and I can’t wait to see him rebuild the military after the cluster of the last eight years. It feels like we spent more time worrying about transgender troops than we did killing ISIS. News stories like this one reaffirm my belief that the military helm is in good hands.

Kudos to President Trump! For the first time in years we have a Commander-in-Chief that actually cares about our military and will do whatever it takes to provide them what they need, the most being presidential support!👍👍👍👍👍

I hope that Trump is happy, now that he’s all but killed, as in KIA, at least 1/2 of these kid’s, since it’s a fact that a vast majority of these kid’s, who now have their face’s all over the media, and are going to be sent overseas in Covert or Joint Army / CIA operation’s, have now been identified as such. When Trump went to CIA HQ’s there was a HUGE fight, and it almost came down to USSS refereeing between CIA and the WH Staff, over the photo’s that were taken, and the fact that many there had to be ORDERED THERE, to provide a ‘prop’ for Trump to be seen against, as in supporter’s, Anyone in Intell or SF knows that a single photo of you, once your identified as in Intell of the SF Community, is an automatic death sentence if you get found out in ‘Indian Country, and with no back up or means of extraction. Trump, by taking these photo’s and putting them out, has now set this in motion. And that, from one who’s been out there, is beyond inexcusable, and a serious reason to start replacing these kid’s in any assignment, with people who are far smarter than to let themselves be set up.

Hmm….Let’s see…..a former Green Beret giving this report doesn’t seem all that worried about your concern. So I’m NOT thinking you have ANY clue what you are talking about. Seriously! Don’t you think if it was a concern, Clay would be the first to trounce all over this???!!!!

Thank God we now have a patriotic President who loves America and AMERICANS!!!!!!

Really Jim? So how is the weather in Moscow?

Thank you Mr. President. Your support and acknowledgement of the sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform is encouraging. It’s a great reversal from the last 8 years and it’s a necessary path to make America great again.

I really wish he would stop culling services like daycares on military installations, and using widows as politiprops. It’s nice to get a 2A friendly Pres, but if it’s at the cost of actual services for service members it’s like mixing heroine into the Tylenol.

You think the whole visit thing was scripted? Trump just woke up and said go find me a gaggle of Green Berets to snuggle with today? If he was going to use somebody it would of been a bunch of tranny Navy Seal dreamers…

Uhhhhhh, no Stupid – The President genuinely cares about the troops. Here’s hoping you make your cute little comment in front of a veteran who turns around and smacks you hard in the mouth to teach you some manners.

Well done Mr. President! The sincerity demonstrated by the CINC will not trickle down, it will flow like a rising tide of Pride. Just as leadership may require personnel to go in harms way, it also requires taking care of them too. Trump is on the right Path.
