They feel twice as heavy as currently produced grips. These aren’t Bakelite, we don’t think, but we estimate they were manufactured in the 1950s or 1960s, well before the 1968 Gun Control Act. Surface detractions are minimal, faint amounts of contact scouring on their edges and faint amount of whitening on the blue steel screw head.
