The M71/S is a pre-ban rifle manufactured between 1971 and 1973. The metal work is all in excellent shape as is the forearm. The butt stock is decent but has some cracks that have been repaired with epoxy to match the original finish. The repaired areas are somewhat visible but the stock is solid and fully usable . The cracks are primarily cosmetic in nature and the rifle is in complete safe handling / firing condition. Included is the original Valmet 30 round metal M71/S magazine for .223, and two East German fiberglass AK 30/(35?) round magazines in .223. These are not modified 7.62x39mm mags, these are true .223 mags. The EG-AK mags have had slight modifications to fit the M71/S and work fine. Price is $1650 plus $50 shipping to FFL only.
