The serial number is 870xxx, which puts its manufacturing around 1960. The rebluing is about 95% with a small gummy- like scuff on the right side of the frame below the trigger. The bore is shinny with clearly defined rifling. The pistol locks up tight and all parts mechanically function perfectly. There is no pitting and rust anywhere. Overall condition of this of this firearm must qualify NRA 'Excellent'. The walnut grips with the Colt pony emblem are in excellent condition as well.
