Wood VG plus with swiss buttplate and deluxe grain wood , Has a very good wood to metal fit. The forarm has a small sliver missing along the barrel on the right side. . Has a 30” part Rd Part oct barrel with original beeches front sight and buckhorn rear. Has VG plus Stevens Markings on top of the barrel. Metal overall has a smooth unpitted finish with the barrel having a blue brown patina finish and the receiver having old fading case colors. The hammer has a trigger pull adjustment screw on the top which runs the length of the hammer. Has a vernier tang sight which shows age and wear also fits the factory hole spacing on the tang.
