This rifle is in extemely clean condition and it is very obvious the gun has been well cared for and used very little. The bore is clean and bright. The wood stock is a beautiful medium walnut with only minimal handling wear. The bluing on the barrel is beautiful with only a few minor ticks at the tips of the front sight. (I'm being very picky here so, please look at the photos and you will see how nice this rifle is.) The butt plate is beautiful and shows no dings. The specifications on the 99M1 are as follows: 18" barrel, overall length is 37", 4 1/2 lbs, ramp front sight, adjustable open rear sight **often missing on others offered for sale**, grooved for scope mounting, tubular 9-round magazine, select walnut stock and 24K gold plated trigger, sling mounts. I believe the 99M1's were manufatured in the late 60's through the mid-70's. I purchased a reproduction owners manual which is included with the sale of the rifle. It shows how to operate and clean the gun. This would be a very fun "plinker", make a great display piece or even to use to teach shooting to a youngster. I'll be glad to answer any questions.
