Gun is rough but shoots. I am not a Marlin expert but this appears to be a take down model due to the large take down knob on the side of the frame. Metal is rough with little original finish and some pitting (see photo) bore is dark but action is tight and gun does shoot. No cracks in the wood but lots of gouges, dents and dings (see photos). 24" round barrel and metal butt plate. This gun is complete and would make a good restoration project. Satisfaction guarnteed.
