As some may know this is a dedicated turkey gun that is designed for tight patters at extended range. The barrel is fixed and is not removable to promote tight balanced patterns. Gun is light at about 7lbs and balances very well. One thing to note is these shotguns have one of the best if not the best trigger in the industry. I specifically ordered it to be 3-4lbs with no creep. I am a collector but have decided to trade this for a new 20ga that Ithaca now has in production.
