This neat little rifle combo would make a great truck gun or starter rifle for beginners of all ages.  I broke in my daughter and grandson on a rifle of this caliber, and their record of 8 big-bodied Kansas whitetails and 9 or 10 coyotes--none of which required a second shot--testifies to the effectiveness of a rifle of this nature for either of these purposes.  The availability of inexpensive practice ammo in this caliber, plus excellent 125 gr. soft point ammo for hunting, makes it a great learner rifle. This rifle is built on the mini-action, and has many great features:  20 in. threaded barrel, soft recoil pad on a synthetic stock with checkering, detachable magazine, sling studs, 3.5-10 x 40 Nikko Stirling scope with parallax adjustment already mounted, adjustable trigger, box and papers.  No sales to California.  Kansas residents must add sales tax.
