Adams Arms, best known for their short-stroke piston-driven AR-pattern firearms, is happy to introduce the AA19, a complete, custom Glock 19-compatible optics-ready handgun. Optimized for everyday carry and competition use, the AA19 is ready to go right out of the box.
Like the Glock 19, the AA19 is a mid-sized polymer-framed, striker-fired pistol chambered for 9mm Luger, with a 15+1 standard capacity. But everything about the handgun is custom including the frame itself.
“Adams Arms is known for its slides and barrels for custom handguns, and now we’ve brought all of our expertise into one complete pistol,” said Adams Arms Vice President Steve Green. “Our customers have been asking for an Adams Arms handgun for years, and now it is ready.
“The new AA19 incorporates design elements that refine its ergonomics and performance,” he said. “Every detail on the new AA19 adds upgrades that maximize its potential for both EDC and competition.”
Adams Arms has been making Glock-pattern 416 stainless steel slides and barrels for some time, using their premium black nitride finish which offers excellent wear and corrosion resistance. Now they’re making their own frames, too, and completing them with a combination of in-house and select aftermarket components.
The frame has a number of improvements people want when it comes to aftermarket Glock frames, starting with a standard, full-length accessory rail. It also has a tall, extended beavertail at the rear.
Additionally, the frame has a large, square trigger guard with a double-undercut profile. The grip angle is less severe than on a standard Glock, with a slender profile and straight backstrap. The front and back of the grip have an aggressive pebbled texture while the sides have a less rough double-A pattern.
As far as the trigger goes, Adams Arms tapped the best, selecting the Vickers Tactical Carry Trigger. This is a mostly flat-faced trigger with a slight toe and a blade-style passive trigger safety.

The slide is optics-ready and Adams Arms offers plates to host Burris Fastfire 3, C-More STS, Holosun 407 and 507, Leupold Deltapoint, Shield RMS, Vortex Venom and Viper mini red dot sights and their compatible optics. The included iron sights are Ameriglo Defoor EDCs, which are black combat sights.
The AA19 comes with Adams Arms’ profiled and lightened slide for less felt recoil. To round it out, they include their match-grade 1/2×28 extended, threaded barrel, with a thread protector, and the slide comes standard with their enhanced billet machined extractor.

Well, they’re submitting another striker fire pistol to a growing market (first time buyers). After this past year of riots, burning buildings & the bulk of rioters, every freedom loving American should own weapons. But I do agree the thing is butt ugly…but show me a classic great looking polymer striker fire pistol. I carry Sig p320 pistols and they are plain-jane as they come, but they shoot well and never have failed to function. Most of the strikes fired guns have a high degree of reliability and the Adams Arms probably will as well.
Seeing as Glocks do not run well with a silencer unless there are some modifications. I wonder how well this thing shoots with a can on it.
